It's unfortunate that I have to write this review, as Chris was given countless opportunities to be professional, but after each apology he made for his actions or attitude, he continued to follow it up with another immature, unprofessional act. We reached out to Chris after a referral from our neighbor. Chris didn't ask to come out, just asked for a few photos of our setup and priced us from there (in hindsight, this was a red flag). When Chris came out, he needed some extra time to finish the job, said he'd come back the next day and asked if he could get half of the fee. Absolutely no problem, he's done half the job, so I asked him what's his preferred method of payment. He said he took Zelle, cash or check, so I said Zelle sounds the easiest. I paid Chris, showed him a notice from Zelle that said the payment can take 24 hours to clear, Chris was fine with that, and the night ended. This is where the problems began. Chris came back the next day very concerned payment hadn't cleared. It was still under 24 hours, but Chris kept asking if it had cleared. He finished most of the job, but all of a sudden had to leave to pick up his kids, and seemed so much in a rush that he didn't want me to inspect the house. I felt bad that this was such a concern for him so I offered to pay the remainder of the balance with a check. When Chris left, I checked the house, and found he had unplugged our lights on the second story roof (see attached photo). I had checked his progress during the day and these were plugged in already earlier. Chris' hasty departure was apparently not to get his kids, but to go straight to the bank to try and get my payment to clear, and to cash my check. When I reached out to him stating the lights were unplugged and we need him to come back, he snapped back with my payment is still on hold, he will not return until payment is received. Keep in mind this is still all under the 24 hours Zelle had asked for. I ended up calling Chris, a conversation that felt like I was trying to calm down my toddler having a tantrum, that resulted in Chris apologizing for his attitude and that he would be back in the morning. I attached a further text conversation showing that payment had cleared, his attitude clearly changed, and he promised to be back in the morning. Chris did not show up in the morning. His attitude had changed back, despite him now being paid in full for the job, and my lights being unplugged atop a roof I am not comfortable climbing. He decided to go to another job, as shown in the attached text conversation, and from then on forward he did his best to avoid talking or seeing me entirely. He did ultimately finish the job, with our lights put on backwards, multiple follow-ups that he didn't finish our garage lights, or plug in our wreath, with visible sighs from him like it wasn't part of the original job. The list goes on. Chris did not properly secure our string lights in the backyard, causing them to blow into the street, and I spent the evening cleaning up and securing them myself. He also left light clips all over our yard, and stapled our garage lights to our wood after we asked him to use the clips already in place. Attempting to get Chris to come back out and take down our lights was just as much of an issue. My wife reached out to him multiple times and was ignored or strung along. When he finally responded, he rescheduled multiple times due to winds, including days there were no winds. He came out once and left halfway through due to winds. I don't believe he knew I was working from home that day, I went outside after he contacted my wife, zero winds, and the roof was the only part done (the only part the winds would affect). When he eventually took all of our lights down, he left light clips throughout our yard, and left one of the extension cords plugged in and hanging from our first story roof (see attached photo). Do yourself a favor - this is an incredibly saturated market with plenty of hardworking, professional, responsive vendors that know the value of their customers. Why waste your time with one that doesn't value you nor your time?

Very unprofessional bait and switch. I spoke with Chris via text less than a week ago to set up an appointment for him to install lighting along my roofline and lighting up the base of a palm tree. We agreed on a price and I confirmed explicitely over text that the palm tree was included and he said yes. I thought his price was on the higher side but given that the palm can be a more time-consuming and tricky task, I agreed and made the appointment. He was several hours late to the appointment and didn't tell me he was running behind until I checked in on him that morning. His team finished quick but when I went outside to check I saw he had only done the roofline and not the palm. His excuse was that his company no longer does palm trees. That's fine if his team doesn't want to do palm trees anymore, but he quoted me a price including the palm and agreed to do it and now he is backing out. And the discount he was offering me to not have the palm was hardly anything at all. I would not have agreed to the final price that we settled on upfront had I known the palm was not included when we were initially setting up the agreement and the appointment. It was less than a week between discussing pricing/scope of work and when my appointment was so it's not like there was plenty of time for him to change his policy about the palms. He acted in bad faith to set up an appointment with a scope of work he knew he would not do, and then jam me with an unfair price once he was on site. Lastly, his team left trash in my bushes which was the icing on the unprofessional cake. I would not recommend working with him and I will not do so again next year.

Do not use their services. Hired them to do a christmas light install at the house and was the most dumbest decision i ve made. They quote you a price then automatically change the price once they arrive. They should work for mickey mouse since the job they did was. They bent all the gutter guards, ($800 to fix n labor) lights dangling and didn't even bother to hide the lights connecting to the next roof line. Save yourself the trouble and find a competent installer not a circus show.

Extremely frustrated at this point, I start replying to emails that were sent to me back in December of 2025 and a young lady called pretty much doing the same thing. She gave me an email address to contact "The Refund Department." Of course the email address was fake. So another dead end of course. Now no one is calling me back or responding to my emails. When you reach out to the owner, he guides you how to reset the outlet, but does nothing to actually fix the issue from happening again and then just stops responding. Like I said, lights are great when they work but it's just really shoddy work. When you're spending thousands of dollars on lights the last thing you expect is for them to not work. Every. Single.
