They redid the lighting in our backyard recently, we never used to go back there in the evenings but now we spend almost every evening outside eating dinner and enjoying time. So happy we did this it's like a completely different space will definitely use them soon to redo the lighting in the front of our house as well! read more

Great experience to transform my backyard to the next level; Met lighting specialist Joel, who showed me various string light and barbecue island lighting examples on his iPad. Do you recommended puck lighting under the rim of my 22 foot curved barbecue Island and every night since the first night looking out through the kitchen windows to the island is just exceptional.. I have 120 foot hard Cape soft skate Plantar area with a half a dozen Palm Trees; and some dividing 12 foot tall shrubs on my neighbor side, and they professionally hung plastic coated cable with a one long run of CONTRACTOR grade string lights versus the 25 foot length "plug the next section in" Home Depot lights and that has elevated our backyard lighting. Hopefully, I can attach the video I took at Sunset last night.. if not, I'll add still photos.. Very minor punchlist to adjust a couple brackets holding the string lights and they came out immediately to do that while never once pressuring for payment till I was a 100% satisfied. Joe went the extra mile and obviously it shows in their 4.9 rating with several hundred reviews so kudos to Joel and his Team... read more

I had over 20 landscaping walkway and spotlight lights that were over 25 years old and needed to be replaced. During this time, I had mature plants and landscaping that I wanted preserved. Optimal Lighting Solutions came out for a free assessment, and within a month, the new lights and power box was installed to perfection. The team was great and very careful with everything. Very highly recommended. read more

Exceptional work! Phil did an incredible job making my tree look the best ever. I had two different companies doing the Christmas lights and less than a year it was ruined. They did not pay attention to details and did not put their passion into their work. Now that I saw Phil's work, I am beyond impressed and highly recommend this company! read more

We have been using Cory and Optimal Lighting Solutions since we moved to Seal Beach 6 years ago. Cory makes the process so easy. I never have to worry about making the appointment. I am contacted early to get my preferred dates. For the past few years Aaron has been doing the install. He is very communicative, pleasant, knowledgeable and punctual. This year he put up our lights in the pouring rain! Last year it was done in the dark! Since we have had our lights done previously Aaron already knew how we wanted it done. These guys can do whatever you can dream up. Their attention to detail is unmatched. And they don't just do Christmas lights. Money well spent to not stress over the lights each year. To finish the job, they give you a labeled tub for your lights and pack it away in your garage. Complete service. read more

Aaron did an awesome job with both our Halloween and Xmas lights.. def recommend this company...

We were so excited to use this lighting team for 2023, but it did not turn out well. They didn't bring enough lights, then the lights that were on didn't all work. They had to come out over and over again. Those are only some of the highlights. We were sad and very disappointed. The workers were nice, but the job did not get done in a timely manner and had a lot of issues. *Updating comment, Cory you are one of the ones who came out to my house. You worked mostly with my husband over the phone and to discuss not having the job completed while I was at the house. The first worker who came out by himself and couldn't finish had a different name. He came out a few times. I believe you were the last one to come out to fix the lights that weren't working and then rehang and bring more lighting. There was no discount offered for the services not being completed on time, but you did apologize which I appreciate. read more

Dallas W. did a great job and our house is all set for the Christmas Holiday. This was our first time working with Optimal Lighting Solutions to do holiday lights on our home and they did an incredible job. On the day of installation, the team showed up on time and made sure everything was done right. We truly appreciate the excellent workmanship and customer service. When the recent winds messed up our lights (more than once) they quickly sent somebody out to fix them. We have used their service for two years and thought year three would be the same great service. It was NOT!!! They rescheduled our initial date, called and explained their technicians car had trouble...no problem. They called again on our second date and said their technician was sick. OK.
