Went here for a company event and the tutorial was thorough for all levels of painters and the space was roomy and sufficient for catered food as well. One of the better paint and sip places I've experienced.

Had a great time! Booked in advanced online and had a seat for us with our names reserved. There's a bar in the back for drinks, but unfortunately no hard liquor- just wine beer seltzers and ciders. I don't have much experience with actual painting but it was a lot of fun as we listened to the instructors guidance! It's flexible so if you want to go off your own creativeness , you could. We get to keep our own masterpiece at the end of course !

Great staff, great vibe, just a nice experience all around. The staff here clearly enjoys what they do and it shows. The painting instructions were informative and enjoyable. Nice crowd.

It's pretty well organized. You reserve online and they put your name on a little blackboard in rows and rows of seats, very much a group class. Theres some space for glasses, not really food and cubbies to put your stuff. I'd recommend only a drink as you'd want more space for paint. Theres tvs around the middle so you can see the instructor live paint and the bar is very friendly/able to keep a tab open. They have multiple breaks where you can order drinks. You pay and reserve the class online, the drinks are not! Included but you don't need to buy drinks (added on at the bar). The only caveat is the class does seem to go quite fast, you do get time after the instruction ends to fix at your own pace and they're lovely enough to offer to take pictures. However, if you're a perfectionist you should move on to the next time steps because they will move on. Essentially you're supposed to paint WITH the instructor and not after instruction to keep up ( as paint needs to dry and stuff) It's acrylic and they provide the basic colors plus more tubes if you'd like other colors. No extra brushes, but extra paper towels offered and a big sink where they have a special scrub to get paint off your hands and you can change out the water. They also sell some instructor paintings for charity! Our instructor also does set designs for knotts scary farm so his tree was obviously amazing. Overall recommend taking a look at their site and seeing which paintings you like :) just be aware it goes fast and the instructors painting will most likely look better lol.

I had a great time with my sister one Thursday night. The teacher was excellent, and everything was well-organized. They played great music in the background, and the drinks were good. My sister was nervous since it was her first time, but she totally relaxed after a few minutes and a few sips. I would go again in a heartbeat!

Such a fun time!! Their layout makes the place feel cozy and welcoming. I walked straight to the bar though- Ordered a mimosa and walked to my canvas. Suddenly 2-2 1/2 hours went by and I couldn't believe the art we all created together. Favorite takeaway was when the instructor said "everyones art is unique like their own handwriting" Cherishing this piece forever!

Came to this place with my sister and we had the most fun time!! They have a bar inside with many options of cocktails, wine, mocktails, and more! The painting we did was so much fun! Our host was amazing!! If you're looking for a new fun activity this is definitely the place!!

I was in town for the weekend and my group and I enjoyed our experience here! The location is perfectly located within The District which is convenient. The instructor we had explained things clearly and we were able to follow along and had time to fix things as well. Everything is provided and there is an area to purchase drinks if you would like to sip on something while painting. Both of the staff members there were helpful. Overall, our group enjoyed this experience and loved the paintings.

While drawing a mother swan, I remembered my beautiful mother. I thank Pinot palette Tustin for that the event was very fun as always!! I will also treasure "the Deer painting"

Really fun and interactive place to come with friends or on a date. The teachers are engaging and the art pieces are challenging but doable.

Ask the Community - Pinot's Palette

Are you able to bring in food and snacks?

Hi Tracy, We are a restaurant and have a food and beverage menu and do not allow outside food and…

How many glasses of wine are you given during the class time? Is it one and then pay the rest of the glasses if you want more?

Unless it's specifically stated for a particular class (example: first glass of wine free!), wine isn't automatically included. You have to purchase wine at the bar and you can get up and go to the bar in the middle of class if you want more.

Alcohol included in the price?

Can we bring snacks to class?

You can, you just can't bring in alcoholic beverages. If you want to bring in a small snack, we don't mind. Just nothing that smells too strongly please so we don't disrupt folks in the room.

Karen was wonderful in guiding our team of 18 (or so) through the steps in painting our masterpieces, and the wine wasn't bad too. For a team building exercise, this was a good experience. Karen, the owner, has a wonderful way of making everyone feel comfortable, regardless of their artistic ability. She provided clear, step-by-step instruction throughout the painting session and created an environment that was both relaxed and engaging. By the end of the evening, everyone was pleased by what they had created. The studio is bright, clean, and well organized, making it easy for guests to mingle and enjoy the experience. Karen also helped coordinate a beautiful charcuterie spread, and her wine selections were excellent. It was clear that a great deal of thought went into every detail of the event. What stood out most was Karen's hospitality and attention to her guests. She struck the perfect balance between guiding the class and allowing everyone to simply enjoy themselves. Working with clay requires patience, creativity, and real time problem solving, which has been such a wonderful experience for her. I especially love that pottery teaches her to embrace the process rather than expect instant gratification. There's no rushing to a finished product...you have to work through each step, learn from mistakes, and sometimes figure out how to solve a problem when things don't go as planned. It has been so rewarding to watch her challenge herself, develop new skills, and become more confident in her ability to work through frustration and find solutions. These are skills that extend far beyond the studio, and I'm so grateful she has a place where she can develop them while doing something she genuinely enjoys. The staff are also amazing and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell how much they care about the kids and their creative growth. We highly recommend Mud Hen Clay and Art Studio! What a creative way to spend the afternoon!…read more I was part of a Turkish mosaic lamp class hosted at Art Masterclass. First off - it's definitely harder to make them than it seems. lol If you have option paralysis or get overwhelmed easily, prepare yourself! Look at alllllll the colors in my photos available to use and maybe plan ahead. They provide templates of different floral, geometric, and banded designs that you can use, but you can go off-script if your noggin comes up with an idea! They give you a decent amount of time to create a design, glue said design in place, and then fill the rest of your lamp's empty space in with the tiny glass beads. There are a few final steps you can't complete while in "class" but that's due to the glue needing time to sit. You're not left in the dark however, as they show you a how-to video which is included in your take-home kit via a QR code. =) I noticed this place has other classes that seem like fun (terrarium and some sort of small dish painting?). I may need to return. Notes: - You interact with glue so you'll likely get messy. - There's a restroom to wash your hands, or if nature calls. - In the small bead fill-in time frame, everyone drops them. It's human. It became part of the experience. Aim for your tray!

I walked in 11 minutes after the start -- one minute past their cutoff. There were maybe four to six people in the room. I explained the family situation involving my son.
