Omg this place was so much fun! Lots of people described it like the one store Color Me Mine. I mean that place is cool and all but wow! I'm not even an "artsy" person, but the gentleman and I'm assuming his wife were so attentive and kind and very accommodating. The shop is located on one of the main streets off the circle in old town Orange. It's vibrant and yet very cozy inside. Staff is very friendly and welcoming as you walk in, always checking in to make sure you have enough colors or need anything else. They even provided really nice aprons for you to use as you paint. Many options are available for art pieces, including tote bags and canvases with templates to help guide you. SO CUTE!!! My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and the service was awesome! We were running a bit late luckily they still served us. It's a 2 hour limit and you do share the table with others but you still have plenty of room for yourself. I booked Soulland for a private event and the team was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process. My guests were so excited to choose items to paint and most opted for either the pottery or paint by numbers choices. The playlist was perfect vibes for my graduation party and I felt relieved that they had space for all the drinks I had brought as well as places to store food. Definitely think 25 people or less can fit in this venue. More would be a bit too crowded. Place was clean as always, including their restrooms. We were trying to look for something fun to do for our wedding anniversary and came across this place. Made a reservation online the night before and everything was set. We showed up 30 mins earlier and they let us check in and giving us a little tour and showing us what to do. It's pretty straight forward, you pick an image and they will give you the canvas with the pre-drew image on and different colors and brushes...you either can follow the numbers on the card like a coloring book or be creative...we both chose the later and had the best time talking, sharing tricks we learned along the way...they also have a bar that serves drinks. The owner Mike was very friendly and nice and consistently checking on us and making user everything was ok and giving us some recommendations if needed. 2 hours later, our paints were done and they look great and the best way to celebrate any occasions. I came here for my close friend's birthday. We were both very excited as the staff was to see us. They greeted us with a smile as they talked us through the process. So, you pick a piece of pre-drawn art canvas, and from there, they give you a card and the corresponding paints that go along with it. It helps to start from the lightest color to the darkest. Note the more numbers, the more difficult the piece is. But if you happen to pass the two-hour mark and you still have not finished the piece, they will give you the paints and the brushes so you could take it home with you and finish it there. We were also given an apron and we had the option of trying some drinks including fiji water and sprite. They also play modern hip-hop music which we both liked as we were painting. That being said I got snoopy, and my friend got mac miller. We thought that it would be stressful as we both wanted our pieces to be perfect. But because we had all the time in the world that day, we took our time and suddenly the entire process felt like a lot of fun. We were relaxed. There was also a German Shepard who walked by and said hi. After 3 hours, we were ready to go home and overall, this place is a fun place to unwind and hangout with friends or co-workers as you paint something. read more

My 13 year old was Mr Cool Guy and wasn't vibing with the painting options so our host encouraged him to paint on a blank canvas. SO MUCH FUN! I hosted my 33rd birthday here and had a blast with all my friends. None of us had ever done a paint night activity so it was all of our first time. The paint by number made it really easy for everyone to go at their own pace. And plenty of art options to pick from too. They do rotate their art so you may not get the exact one you see from online/reviews. I loved that they had a DJ set too! Mike, the owner, himself was DJ-ing and we could request songs too, making the atmosphere so lively and fun! Some tips: if you're OCD and need to paint within the lines, I would suggest bringing your own *nice* paintbrush, especially for the small intricate areas. Their brushes are basic so it can get the job done but for those of you that are a little neurotic like me... bring your own and it will help with the anxiety lol. You can also bring your own snacks. I made charcuterie boxes for my group. They provide alcohol and had lovely champagne and other cocktails to purchase. The items to paint are a bit pricey, however in this day and age a business has to make money somehow so I don't blame them.
