I found this ceramic studio on yelp and decided to try it out. Thank god that I did, because this beats "color me mine" by far. Not only were the coworkers considerate and inviting but the space itself was cozy and aesthetically pleasing. They had many options to choose from along with tiny pieces to add to your ceramic collection. The prices were incredibly affordable and I honestly want to keep this gem to myself but it's too good not to share!!!

I had a great time painting my plate while watching a movie in a cozy environment. Snacks were plentiful as well as parking. They provide everything you need: paint, ceramics, oven baking, glaze, etc. The owners are great people and they have lots of cool events coming up. I also believe they can host parties here as well, like birthdays. Lots of people came for painting night ranging from friends, families to couples on a date night. Excited for their future events!

Came in for ceramics and sips! Really cool place! Love the decor and vibrant color scheme. Pick your own ceramic, paint it, and they will glaze it for you. This event was really cool as it came with coffee! The barista makes your preferred style coffee! (Got a caramel macchiato). The event was really fun, and would be great for a date night. The studio is also available for rent for your own events, parties, etc.

We had a great time at Creative Collective Studio. We came around 7 and Sam actually stayed past closing for us so that we can finish our pieces, which was super nice! They have a good selection of pieces to choose from and the studio is aesthetic and clean. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience at Creative Collective Studio. The studio itself is super nice. Jennifer was especially wonderful, she treated us so well and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommended this place for anyone looking to have fun and creative time painting pottery.

We had great customer service. Groupon has coupons for cheaper studio fees. Would be a great place for a date or friend meetup. Very reasonable pricing and turnaround time! They had festive fall pieces to choose from when we went, we made a birthday plate and it turned out great!

My friend and I had a great experience here! The staff was friendly and accommodating and I appreciate the studio's pretty interior :)

    Our adorable candle creations!

My friend and I loved our time at their Galentine's event! The decor, set-up and photo areas were so cute, and everyone involved was so welcoming and friendly. We'll definitely be on the lookout for more events! Also, the location has plenty of parking and for anyone interested, there's a lot of great places to eat all around about a mile of the location.

There's a wall of color for you to write down on a smaller palette. I loved that they how the final product would look like depending on the number of coats you brush on your item. When we arrived, they told me there is also a mandatory 18% gratuity. First, that is legally supposed to be disclosed clearly and in advance which it was not. The kids picked out their paint colors and then we found out that your location was out of (six) different colors that they wanted and they had to settle for less appealing options. The attendants were slow to replenish the paint and acted like it was an inconvenience, even though they were getting a "mandatory gratuity". They could have been nicer and more friendly. One of the colors they "replenished" was not the same color as we got at the beginning even though we asked for the same color # and the attendant even checked the # to make sure, and one of the kids ending up having two different colors of paint in one section of her ceramic piece that she was really disappointed about. When we asked the attendant how we could fix it, she said she didn't know and literally walked away mid-conversation to help someone else. She clearly did not care about our party once we sat down. My bill was almost $300 and the mandatory gratuity was $49.32 which was absolutely not worth the service we got. I doubt we would come back to your store since we never had this issue at Color Me Mine.

My wife got out of the car and was at the door inside that window. They wouldn't let her in without me, and I was still parking. I walked in 11 minutes after the start -- one minute past their cutoff. There were maybe four to six people in the room. I explained the family situation involving my son. I told them it was our anniversary. My wife was distraught, and I pleaded with them and tried to reason with them. They turned us away anyway. We weren't asking anyone to slow the class down or stay late -- we would have caught up on our own. My wife left humiliated on the day she had planned as a gift. I get it -- you have to run a business, and you have to start on time. But she was there inside the window you gave us and you wouldn't seat her. It came down to one minute and two people standing in front of you, and you chose the minute. The class started without us. So did the last impression I'll have of this place.

This was for a public class on a Saturday at around 4:30 PM. The class consisted of 8 people max and seemed to be all couples. All of the equipment was prepared like an apron, clay, pottery wheel, etc. We had an instructor that was very knowledgeable and explained everything from start to finish. Complex technicals were explained in layman's terms. We were given enough clay to create 3 pieces but could keep up to two. The instructor also frequently went around to check everyone's pieces and was able to troubleshoot as needed. It was a fun experience but be very prepared to get your hands dirty! The glazing portion was separate from the class. There was no reservation needed for that so I did it the same day that I went to see the ceramics. For parking, street parking could be hit or miss depending on the time. I'd recommend coming early to have ample time to find parking. Overall, I enjoyed the experience enough. It could have been perfect if the staff here remembered to follow up on when the ceramics were ready for pickup. I am happy with the end result though.

I love Color Me Mine, and this location is one of my favorites to go to! It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!

I broke my finger 2 days after I started, so I could not use this membership for weeks in the beginning but did not complain. This was my problem. But... all together I have used the facility one time and then had personal issues that prevents me from using it now. I did not see the 30 day notice and am paying because I did sign it. It seems much like grifting. There is no downside for the studio (not using equipment so no wear and tear) except the loss of my monthly payment. Perhaps this sounds like sour grapes but I truly do not understand this extra month of payment besides they must think they need my money worse than I do.

We did buy more paint than what was included in the take home kit because we wanted more colors, but if you plan your colors meticulously then the original amount you're given is more than enough to paint 1 ceramic each. The glazing is covered once you pay for the kit and ceramics and if you have leftover paint and want to go back to buy more ceramics, you don't need to pay extra for any of the glazing.
