I found this ceramic studio on yelp and decided to try it out. Thank god that I did, because this beats "color me mine" by far. Not only were the coworkers considerate and inviting but the space itself was cozy and aesthetically pleasing. They had many options to choose from along with tiny pieces to add to your ceramic collection. The prices were incredibly affordable and I honestly want to keep this gem to myself but it's too good not to share!!!

I had a great time painting my plate while watching a movie in a cozy environment. Snacks were plentiful as well as parking. They provide everything you need: paint, ceramics, oven baking, glaze, etc. The owners are great people and they have lots of cool events coming up. I also believe they can host parties here as well, like birthdays. Lots of people came for painting night ranging from friends, families to couples on a date night. Excited for their future events!

Came in for ceramics and sips! Really cool place! Love the decor and vibrant color scheme. Pick your own ceramic, paint it, and they will glaze it for you. This event was really cool as it came with coffee! The barista makes your preferred style coffee! (Got a caramel macchiato). The event was really fun, and would be great for a date night. The studio is also available for rent for your own events, parties, etc.

We had a great time at Creative Collective Studio. We came around 7 and Sam actually stayed past closing for us so that we can finish our pieces, which was super nice! They have a good selection of pieces to choose from and the studio is aesthetic and clean. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience at Creative Collective Studio. The studio itself is super nice. Jennifer was especially wonderful, she treated us so well and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommended this place for anyone looking to have fun and creative time painting pottery.

We had great customer service. Groupon has coupons for cheaper studio fees. Would be a great place for a date or friend meetup. Very reasonable pricing and turnaround time! They had festive fall pieces to choose from when we went, we made a birthday plate and it turned out great!

    Our adorable candle creations!

My friend and I loved our time at their Galentine's event! The decor, set-up and photo areas were so cute, and everyone involved was so welcoming and friendly. We'll definitely be on the lookout for more events! Also, the location has plenty of parking and for anyone interested, there's a lot of great places to eat all around about a mile of the location.

The space itself is gorgeous with terrazzo tables, rattan pendant lights, and a wall of colorful glaze swatches that make it feel like a creative sanctuary. We painted ceramics together and the whole experience was way more fun than either of us expected. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, checking in on us throughout without being intrusive. I actually slipped out mid session to grab drinks from next door and they had zero issues with us bringing them in, which was such a nice touch. And when we ended up finishing right at closing time, the team handled it with total grace and never made us feel rushed. The glaze color wall alone is worth the visit. There are so many options that it's almost overwhelming in the best way. Whether you're artistic or a complete beginner like me, you'll leave with something you're genuinely proud of. If you're looking for a unique, low key date spot with a great vibe and even better staff, Kitsch is it. We're already planning our next visit!

Love that you can bring in your own food and drinks while painting your ceramic. Love their selection of ceramics. They have a lot of cute ones from small to large. There is a price difference if you plan on choosing a bigger ceramic to paint. Once you choose your ceramic, staff will tell you how to choose your paint colors and how many layers are needed for a certain color to show. They're very thorough at making sure you get what you need. My girlfriends and I spent about 3 hours here. It was very fun. We got to catch up with each other during this period. Picking up our ceramics did take about a week. They'll hold your items for you for up to 60 days. Definitely a fun activity for all ages!

We came during the week around midday, so parking was easy to find, but if you're coming on a weekend or in the evening, I'd recommend arriving early since parking is limited. Our instructor, Sage, was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the entire pottery-making process and making it feel approachable even for beginners. We made two pieces total--one hand-built and one thrown on the wheel--which was really fun and exciting to try. The whole experience was creative, relaxing, and unique. I would definitely recommend this class and will be suggesting it to friends and family!

We took the one-time pottery class and it's nearly impossible to get ahold of them. After your class you're supposed to get an email a few weeks later to schedule glazing. It's a great concept and fun but would not recommend this business to anyone.

This was for a public class on a Saturday at around 4:30 PM. The class consisted of 8 people max and seemed to be all couples. All of the equipment was prepared like an apron, clay, pottery wheel, etc. We had an instructor that was very knowledgeable and explained everything from start to finish. Complex technicals were explained in layman's terms. We were given enough clay to create 3 pieces but could keep up to two. The instructor also frequently went around to check everyone's pieces and was able to troubleshoot as needed. It was a fun experience but be very prepared to get your hands dirty! The glazing portion was separate from the class. There was no reservation needed for that so I did it the same day that I went to see the ceramics. For parking, street parking could be hit or miss depending on the time. I'd recommend coming early to have ample time to find parking. Overall, I enjoyed the experience enough. It could have been perfect if the staff here remembered to follow up on when the ceramics were ready for pickup. I am happy with the end result though.

They couldn't find it under either. Jennifer, the owner messaged me on the side and offered studio credit for when we come back to glaze. I appreciate that offer since my bf and I had to and have to coordinate this date to come to the studio. I live around half an hour away and he lives over an hour away, which made it that much more disappointing when we drove all the ways last time only to be told it was lost. I messaged and asked to see if it was possible to have our pottery ready this time for when we came to glaze to prevent further mishap. They were kind and had our pottery ready for when we head back. I was happy with how our pottery turned out. It was with the red clay so it looked tan. Ashley helped us with the glazing. She gave us tips and instructions. They have a ton of different colors. They have a color section that's easier to work well and good with designs. There's also another set of colors that have some details and undertones. I picked four colors and hoped for the best. It's interesting because the more special glaze are all shades of gray, even when you paint it on. It's really is trusting the process. They put our pottery on the rack and told us it would be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. I'm hoping the pick up this time goes better! This glazing experience went well and I appreciate, Jennifer, the owner, reaching out personally and offering the studio credit.

The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. I broke my finger 2 days after I started, so I could not use this membership for weeks in the beginning but did not complain. This was my problem.
