We visited on a sunday afternoon and the place was Packed- in a good way. groups of friends, couples on a date, a whole family...it felt appropriate for all. I never spent a whole 2 hours painting what we chose. lot sof colors to choose from and instructions were simple, clear and shared at the beginning. It was a great time with no phone in hand, focusing on painting and micing colors...so relaxing. At the end we leave our masterpeices there, and they text us once they are dry and ready for pick up. This is an activity that we can go and do again and again, everytime can be a different experience and outcome. Booking there again, maybe for a playdate for my daughter and her best freind. One thing I do hope this place offers in the future, it is for the instructions to include more info about all the bells and whistles we can ask for as we paint...we learned about all the gadgets and tools by observing others, maybe like a little brochure or cute menu.

I was instructed to come in person to pay a deposit to reserve our date, which I did. About a week before our scheduled trip, I emailed multiple times to confirm that everything was ready. When I didn't receive a response, I also called several times but was unable to get a response. Unfortunately, when our camp arrived, what I had reserved was not prepared at all, and the entire experience felt very disorganized. It was especially disappointing after making the effort to reserve the date and follow up ahead of time. Sadly, I won't be returning or booking future field trips here. I was really looking forward to the experience for our campers, so this was very disappointing.

My wife paid for a class here as a surprise for our 9th wedding anniversary. A family situation…read morecame up, so we called ahead -- we were told on the phone that they would take us as long as we got there within 10 minutes. We rushed. My wife got out of the car and was at the door inside that window. They wouldn't let her in without me, and I was still parking. I walked in 11 minutes after the start -- one minute past their cutoff. There were maybe four to six people in the room. I explained the family situation involving my son. I told them it was our anniversary. My wife was distraught, and I pleaded with them and tried to reason with them. They turned us away anyway. We weren't asking anyone to slow the class down or stay late -- we would have caught up on our own. My wife left humiliated on the day she had planned as a gift. I get it -- you have to run a business, and you have to start on time. But she was there inside the window you gave us and you wouldn't seat her. It came down to one minute and two people standing in front of you, and you chose the minute. The class started without us. So did the last impression I'll have of this place.

I was able to add my own decor and it comfortably fit my party of 36 ppl. They have all of the amenities we needed including a fridge, microwave, hot water, bathroom and large sink. The space is super cute, clean, and has convenient parking. The best part of the experience though was the helpfulness of the staff throughout the entire event. I thought it would be special to paint together and it was! We visited on a weekday around 8pm. The girls at the counter greeted us, explained how everything worked and were so sweet and kind. We picked a vase, our colors and painted together. I received a call 3 days later that it was ready for pick-up! It was perfect!!!!! Something we will cherish for years to come! I will definitely return for a girls night or just a night out of the house. Super clean, friendly staff, easy parking in the connecting lot. You can also bring in any of your own food and drink! We love Kitsch, and we find ourselves there often! The price…read moreis reasonable, the environment is clean and calm, and I love the laid back and relaxing energy. All the employees are helpful and kind. They check in a right amount, and do a great job not making you feel rushed. 10/10 environment. Their pieces change through the year, so it's nice to come back and find seasonal things to paint. They close at 9:00pm, but we've found ourselves here for a few hours, so plan accordingly! The only downsides I've found are after the firing process is done. Some of our old pieces from when we first came a few years ago have crazing, which makes the pottery unsafe for food or drink. If your piece is for decoration, it should be fine. I haven't noticed it on newer pieces, so they may have adjusted the way their fire them. The second thing is that all my pieces, new and old, have pin marks from being supported in the kiln. It prevents a smooth surface, but also, I've noticed it's an entry way for moisture, which makes it unsafe for food and drink. One of my pieces held onto moisture after washing it because of the pin holes. All this to say, it doesn't deter us from visiting. We still love coming to Kitsch and will continue to visit. Its a great place to catch up, go on a date, or just hang out.

It gave me the chance to order it 4 times during my second job (assisting adults with special needs). The clients were fascinated to paint the item at their own pace inside the program when I introduced it to them. The program has since kept those 4 items as souvenirs.

Staff did not acknowledge me walking in or continuing to stand there waiting for several minutes. He finally decided to glance my way asking if I needed help (obviously) & called over a girl to assist. When I let her know I'm looking to drop in & I have prior experience she tells me "oh we're more of a beginners class or membership kind of studio so we don't really have anything for you..." Another women mentions they have a class offering but realizes it was the wrong date. I glance around at the completely empty studio & then she says "The only other thing is I have a class I'm teaching in...7 minutes & it's completely empty so you could attend that & just do what you want..." Why would you not lead with that? She tells me it'll be $110. I pass because I'm not paying an exorbitant price if this is the service I can expect from them. "Sorry we didn't have something for you." Sounded like you had something perfect for me but didn't want me to stay, so what on Earth do you mean?

Our instructor was great! Downfall - parking isn't all that easy. You park on the street and have to pay a few bucks as it's metered parking. After 6p it's free parking I believe. Anyway, downtown LB is a fun place. This place just makes it SERIOUSLY that much better! Super fun to go with a good group of people! Also, if you're coming in the summer, when you arrive, sit towards the far left. The right side will be tough as the sun will burn you like there's no tomorrow
