Making a speech

That's one small step for man, one giant leap for Yelp. Three and under are free. $5 per person and there's a discount for AAA members. I paid $12.50 for three people. There's a mixture of exhibits and hands on activities. Send a rocket made out of a 2L soda into space or shoot a parachute. There's all kinds of activities for all age groups and lots of opportunities for pictures. There's an upstairs area where you can build, pretend and play. Luckily it was not packed when we went so we were able to do everything without a problem. They do recommend that you call ahead to check foot traffic since they do host schools or parties. Lastly, we took a quick robotics class with Alejandro who was so kind and funny. The kids and adults all had a great time while still doing something productive and educational.

Great learning experience for the kids and hands on space exploration and Lab testing

Homeschool field trip. It was nice, clean, and great staff. They gave us a tour showing us different stations of science activities, a robotic room and how they code the rovers while it's on the planets they are exploring. The kids made paper rockets and shot them into the sky. Kids loved it. I am not sure if the school visit would be different than a family visit. It is a two story building with an elevator. They have a play area for the smaller kids.

I had a meeting here in August after it closed for the day. Good place. Liked the outside displays as well

We had a field trip today with our homeschooling group and though it's not large they kept us entertained for over 2 hours. The kids enjoyed the memorial and hands on activities, specially the coding and robotics. The staff was friendly and patient with our kids. Overall we had a very nice experience.

I'm currently a senior in the DMS program and my experience with the school has been amazing. The…read moreteachers are amazing and have lots of experience about the field, which has been very helpful with what to expect and prepare for when you finish the program. I can't speak for all classes but since you stay with the same group of people you get to make friendships and connections with amazing people who share the same passion as you. I wouldn't say the program is hard but it's also not easy, you have to put effort and dedication because the program is pretty fast paced.

Extremely disappointing experience. In the beginning, everything seems supportive--especially…read morefinancial aid--but it quickly becomes clear the focus is on getting your money, not helping you succeed. Most of the good instructors left, and students are left with teachers who lack proper credentials and can't effectively teach the material. Communication is a joke--students are told to use Teams for help, but when you actually speak up, you get silenced, pushed into private messages, or removed entirely. Externship placements were also concerning. Some sites were poorly maintained, had little to no patients, and didn't follow what we were taught. I personally witnessed behavior that raised serious ethical concerns, which made the experience even more frustrating as a student trying to learn the right way. Leadership is basically nonexistent. The principal, Amita, is rarely seen and doesn't take student concerns seriously. On top of that, there was constant staff turnover--multiple instructors, the DMS program director, and financial aid staff all left before I even graduated. Policies constantly change, and they hide behind "subject to change" disclaimers even when things were clearly misrepresented at the start. If you have money to waste, this might be the place. Otherwise, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The instructors are very nice and polite, and my son completed 13 lessons. I tried to keep him with…read morethe same coach for consistency, but unfortunately, that coach missed a few sessions. Because of the limited availability of other instructors, I had to switch him to whoever was available. At one point, my son--who I believe is at a Level 2--was paired with a child who was on their very first lesson. I feel children should be grouped with others at the same skill level, as this impacts both learning pace and overall progress. Each time we switched instructors, the new coach essentially had to start over to get familiar with my son, which felt like a waste of both time and money. At this point, he is still unable to swim. I've reached the point where I'm now looking elsewhere for a private instructor. If your goal is for your child to truly learn how to swim, that may be the better route. In my experience, these programs can feel more focused on keeping you enrolled rather than ensuring real progress. When it comes to a child's safety, consistency and instructor availability are critical--and that's where this program falls short.

Ms. Christina is my son's instructor and she is AMAZING! We wanted an instructor who had a mix of…read moresoft and hard instruction and Ms. Christina has both. She gives my son the space to be a little kid learning something hard, but also keeps challenging him to go further than he did in the last class. And my son can have his own days where he doesn't want to be there and follow instructions and Ms. Christina is in control enough to keep the instruction going even though tough days. Plus all the teachers there are so supportive. If a teacher doesn't have a student yet, they often cheer my son on when he's with Ms. Christina. Also, if ever Ms. Christina isn't available, we've developed some great relationships with other teachers like Ms. Mila, and so we never feel he has to start from scratch just because his main teacher isn't.
