My wife needed some things and believed they would have them. So I go in and ask the staff and they showed me exactly what I wanted and I got them. I don't usually write reviews, but I had two uncomfortable experiences with the same employee (Silvia G) at the register. On my first visit, I asked a simple question about whether an item was part of the Easter sale and was met with "can you read?" At checkout, I was also told to hurry up, which felt unnecessarily rude. On my second visit, I returned a few items. During the process, she repeatedly examined each item, sighed, and showed visible frustration, which made the interaction feel awkward and unwelcoming. I understand everyone has off days, but customer-facing roles require a basic level of courtesy. I hope management takes this feedback into account. read more

For some reason there's always tons of workers walking around the store but only 1 register open everytime I go. When the single cashier calls for backup on the intercom it still takes them a long time to realize they should open another register. read more

I only come here when yarn is on sale because they don't accept Apple Pay. Last time I was there I asked if they still don't take Apple Pay and the cashier went off on a weird tirade about how she hates Apple Pay, they will never accept it and she personally hates it and has never used it and never will, and claimed that everything would cost more if they had it, she just went on and on, finally finished with "I am not going along like a sheep" I have been using Apple Pay for years and I have never been charged extra for it and I don't know how she is such an expert on something that she has never used. They really need to train their workers to keep their opinions to themselves when they are working it's really obnoxious to insult customers who are there to spend money. read more

Staff is nice, my wife and I have visited this particular store a lot of times, and it has always been a good experience. I'm not a crafter or perpetual decorator so this is literally the second time I've entered this brand. That said, I had a specific task but had time to wander and - Wow - this place can be dangerous?! They have everything and it's really affordable?! The store is huge and I needed everything to create a gift basket (minus contents). The ladies at the front couldn't have been more helpful and had good suggestions. Thereafter, I had other questions and a nice worker happily took me to the right section. The service is really top notch and equally great at checkout. I'm raving because great service is a rarity these days. Everything I needed, plus genius additional finds for gift basket were in stock. I love one stop shopping and this store delivered. I personally love Hobby lobby. I think there's something for everyone there and everyone's always pretty pleasant except for today. I asked a girl named Barbara where the bathroom was and she said "keep going straight,you don't need my help with that". I did keep going along the wall at the back of the store and did find the restroom,but the more I thought about how she said it to me the more upset it made me. I could tell and could also bet 1) she's not a Christian 2) She's always grumpy and 3) she probably just started working there. When I finished with the restroom. I looked around for a manager, but it was pretty busy so I decided to go get her name (that's how I knew it was Barbara) and when I did, I heard her snapping at a coworker named Shelly saying she didn't care about stocking something Shelly was mentioning working on. for some reason Barbara is very grumpy? Hopefully management sees this to make sure she's not grumpy all the time otherwise Hobby lobby probably isn't a good fit for her. read more

Came here to buy beads before no problem.Visted again only to be followed and watched by an employee, I was followed in and out of isles and to the end of the store?Wow suddenly theres lots of restocking to do! How are you restocking the opposite side of the store with no cart? (Photo and video for context) I almost couldnt believe what was going to happen, I knew to start recording to protect myself. All employees were beginning to stare and a manager even started to follow me from behind. I confronted them only to be told that theres lots of shoplifting in the bead section and I wasn't being followed. Managers at this location don't say hello, smile or even assist customers and staff. Like today when there was only one line open and it reached more that ten customers in line. They (with an attitude) finally got a clue to open another line. This was not a one time event, I see this kind of stuff happening all of the time in this store. Stop expecting your one or two cashiers to struggle to do all of the work to check customers out of these long lines, while you are just standing in a group with the other "higher ups" doing nothing like usual. Maybe you should downgrade your current managers into new roles as overnight stockers instead so, they don't have to interact with actual humans. Then you could hire a new management that are actually friendly and helpful to customers and staff. read more

I am honestly so confused at how the checking out system works at Hobby Lobby. There are so many sales going on but the cashiers have this "cheat seat" to work off on? I asked her why they can't just scan the items instead of looking for a code for every single item. She told me that they don't scan and instead, they have to manually enter a code for every item at check out. It is no wonder that the checking out process takes so long. Imagine someone in front of you with 50 items? That is 50 items MANUALLY entered. I am also pretty sure they missed the discounts for several people because all they have to work off of is a little cheat sheet. I have no words.....the employees here also looked overworked and extremely happy. I was in a good mood at the start of my shopping trip there and it just turned sour due to the environment. read more

You can find more than you hoped for in decorating, crafts, art work, some small furniture pieces and more. It's clean and well organized. There is plenty of parking too. The male cashier that checked me out was very friendly. The rest of the help never says a word to you. No smile, eye contact, greeting or even asks if you need help finding anything. I almost don't feel welcome! I can't tell if they are unfriendly or just hate their jobs. Either way, this store needs some training in this area. read more

I love the different styles of home decorations and seasonal items and that they're always on sale or come with a coupon if you sign up for their emails. Ordered a custom frame and it came back damaged everywhere. They ordered another one for me and it came back worse. The frame was over $100. I saw how they house they frames they are not protected, but just hanging on two metal wall mounts with other frames banging up against the others. I always love shopping at Hobby Lobby. So many great decor items for the home, endless options, I could go crazy here. Prices are fair, especially since they rotate and half the store is on sale one week, the other items on the next, so it is worth waiting a week if what you see is not on sale. This store is enormous!!! I was overwhelmed with the amount of stuff here. It's like a Jo-Ann on steroids. I came for a picture frame (they have tons) and continued walking around, up and down the various aisles to see what all they carried. Vases, flowers, fabrics, ceramic wear, framed pictures, signs, holiday decor, models (i.e. - cars and airplanes), candles, and every art supply imaginable. Tons of home decor and completely useless knick knack stuff. There were plenty of employees around and one that I stopped was happy to answer my questions. I wandered into the store because I had heard from friends that this was a perfect place to buy stickers! While I was checking out the cashier, Bonnie, was such a sweetheart! I didnt know that the stickers were 50% off but to my surprise they were! Shopped today, Labor Day and was sort of surprised there werent any Labor Day Sales at all.... Some things that were 50% on Saturday, were no longer 50% today, so I decided against purchasing them. The checker we had, in Line 2, was incredibly slow. It was the return line, so we couldnt change lines. Incrediblyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy slow. First time shopper and definitely the last time I'll go there. There was absolutely no customer service! Not one person smiled or said hello, and I passed at least 5 employees. Are they just unhappy? I work for a retailer where this type of environment would never be tolerated. Even a supervisor person felt it was ok to talk down to a employee while I was right there, he needs to be treated the same way! It was s totally uncomfortable experience, all while the song, "yes Jesus loves me" is being streamed. The manager needs to re-think his values because I just can't imagine how anyone can work under that atmosphere. Maybe it's Hobbys business practice..well that's not very Christian is it? 2019/12 Management must've changed because I recently went in to shop and the store is neat, clean, easy to shop and the manager Larry, was very helpful. She shouldn't work with the public. Along with her yes man assistant manager. The rest of the staff in the store are brilliant. Very assertive. Nice. Polite. It's a shame, that the 2 top staff in the store act so unprofessional. I think the Dollar Tree would turn them both down for employment. This store has an excellent fabric department. Very organized and Megan, the fabric lead is very knowledgeable about the products offering excellent service and a great value. The store overall is very well laid out and organized making it easy to find what I need. This experience made me question- what happens behind closed doors?! I was shopping for shirts in the back of the store when I heard a manager berating an employee. I look over and there they are in the managers office with the door wide open. The manager was yelling at the woman and being super condescending 'do you know what open availability means?!'. As a manager myself, I understand how difficult is it to accommodate everyone's schedules however raising your voice at an employee and belittling them is never the way to go about it. Besides that, it was happening with the door open; right in front of a customer's face. I know this store is old fashion in a lot of respects but in 2023 employee rights are mandatory not optional. Regardless of the employees attendance record, she did not deserve to be treated that way. I will not be back to any Hobby Lobby and I hope this review will create some leadership changes at this location. read more

The only star is for the actual merchandise sold in the store, it's so big which makes it so exciting to browse around, but disappointed is an understatement with how I felt leaving. Most if not all of the staff including the manager are the most rude, condescending, & unprofessional group of people I've witnessed in a work environment. I just wanted to shop for beads with a friend & we had an employee following us for at least 10 minutes, very clearly suspecting we were shoplifting. This Hobby Lobby is very big and well supplied but almost every employee I asked help from was rude and not helpful. One answered she had no idea what I was talking about. Another shrugged his shoulders and walked away when I asked for a better item than the one he was pointing to. And yet another one saw that I was at the cutting table waiting for help and completely ignored me until I rang the bell on the table. It's attitudes like these that give a company a bad rep. This is my moms GO-TO craft supply store. She is an avid knitter and can make anything you can imagine ! She makes teddy bears, scarves, shawls, jackets - you name it. Being so involved with the knitting community she has been growing in her appreciation for good quality yarn!! She loves YARN BEE brand yarn with low-no pill. This brand holds up to constant use and comes in a variety of thickness. It ranges between $4-6 and has comparable softness to the expensive luxury yarn. I visited this store to replenish some colors and noticed that the same yarn is not found at other competing craft stores in the area i.e. JoAnns for example. Hobby lobby always has a 40% off coupon for one item on their website - so make sure to load it on your phone prior to reaching the register!! read more
