Holy! Holy! Moly! Moly! The mother of all beautiful furniture is HERE y'all! I can barely even describe the air of opulence that hit me once I entered the front doors. Leslie is this sweet 20 something working with 2 other 20 something's on this overcast Sunday. Ok, let me just get to it: this place offers home staging - if you can afford it, this is the place to go! I love discovering trends in interior designs. This store has plenty of blues, greens and aquas mixing in golds and silver together. You'll find plenty of textures too like white sea coral, white floral porcelain accents and glass. Not so much faux fur or cowhides or even silver nailhead trims. Many modern designs with white linens, framed painted canvas art pieces. Some mirrored furnishings but the few matched with wood looked spectacular! Orchids galore! Beachy woods (think driftwood or white washed) screams Southern California home. Beware - Poor Quality, Worse Customer Service. Purchased 8 beautiful chairs for our kitchen table. They do have beautiful things at this store. Unfortunately, after about a year of normal use, the leather (or vegan leather, not sure which) started to break down (see pics). Wasn't a priority during covid, so earlier this year (about 18 months after purchase), I contacted the store to show them what was going on. Didn't really get anywhere with them. Then just this month my husband followed up with them and he was told that the manufacturer wouldn't do anything to help us and, or by the way, they don't make this product anymore so they can't repair or recover them either. I would have thought that the store would want to make things right for their customer, but apparently I was wrong. Spent about $3,000 on chairs I had hoped would last more than 18 months but at this point the store manager won't respond to messages so I guess it's just tough luck. Won't be back. read more

My husband and I have been here quite a few times, most recently to purchase the nightstands to a bed frame we had purchased three years ago (yes... time sure flies!). We met with Ashley and she was able to pull up our account and find the matching nightstands, but we had to hold off as they weren't in the show room. When we came back a few weeks later, we met with Lily and she was able to direct us to the exact nightstands we had been eyeing. Not only were the nightstands in perfect shape, but they offered the best deal and offered an ADDITIONAL discount since it was their anniversary sale. Lily was even able to schedule delivery the next day (Sunday) ... which is a blessing since most furniture companies don't do immediate deliveries. We are so pleased with the service at Ambiance Home and every one we have worked with here is amazing! I never get the sense that they're pushing us to buy furniture and they offer suggestions and let you browse catalogs if they don't have what you're looking for at the moment. Hit or miss. We bought a sofa, ottoman and a pair of winged back chairs 8 years back and had a good experience. So we returned to get a sectional couch. The owner convinced us that the material was indoor/outdoor and easy to take care of. Not the softest material but I was willing to concede because it was "performance" fabric. WRONG!!!!!!! WORST couch ever. Even distilled water droplets leave a ring and everything stains the fabric. We got it professionally cleaned and my 3 month old sofa looks 10 years old. We never eat or drink on the couch. We don't wear shoes in the house. Basically you get what you pay for in product and service. After complaining, the owner reluctantly cleaned the cushions for me and told me to never come back to the store again. I've never encountered such horrible customer service. read more

Very nice selection of furniture and accessories. My wife and I have purchased several items from here and came here again yesterday looking for a kitchen table. They will offer advice if asked. There two story showroom is packed but make sure to ask if you are looking for something specific you don't see. They seem as though will go to great lengths to find what you need. Work with them on the retail prices. Solid pricing on the big stuff but the small decorative items seem high to me. Delivery is also handled very well. read more

it is with great disappointment that i share my recent experience at this store. after doing business with sorya the owner for many years, i just purchased 6 lovely dining chairs. ($5,000) . the arms of the chairs do not fit under my beautiful table and therefore can not be used. under absolutely no circumstances would an exchange be acceptable. i offered to pay a surcharge or arrange an acceptable and fair solution. i have the chairs in my home wrapped in their original plastic . I'd say this place is an average furniture store. Average in the sense that there's lots of furniture but all of which leave you stuck in a place between Z gallerie, West Elm, and I don't know maybe a pottery barn? It's not a specific style and leaves you with SOO many options where you're lost. Place is actually cluttered as well - think forever 21 or Ross kind of cluttered. It's not necessarily set up in a way where rooms are displayed nicely, there's just stuff EVERYWHERE. Tables behind other tables behind mirrors behind night stands behind shelving behind chairs. It's like it doesn't make sense. But the amount of offerings they have is great if you know what you want. I'd say it's the same price as a z gallerie or pottery barn so I'd rather purchase from there honestly. read more

Love this place! I literally smile every time I walk into the showroom floor at Ambiance. Aside from the staff being super friendly (shout-out to Lily and Navid), the furniture and decorations are always on point. Ambiance helped us furnish our family room, which turned out beautiful. I'm currently working with Marisa at Ambiance to furnish our formal living room. Marisa has a really good eye and makes great suggestions. She lets me stay true to my style, while making me aware of various design techniques. Changing out our decor style after 20 years of a Mediterranean look to a light bright beach style that still goes well with dark woods. Went to lots of the regular places (pier 1, restoration hardware, Z,etc) but couldn't quite put it together. Visited here and found everything we needed and more. When I brought furniture in the Ambiance home, I found some furniture that's was not suitable for me, next morning, I called the clerk not to deliver, because there's something to exchange, the clerk agreed, before I went to their store, I called again and told them that I was going to change some furniture, they also agreed. When I went to the store, and clerk Navid let me choose the new furniture, when I complete the selection, he said that we've been driving for 20 years and never exchange or return. I asked why? He said because the furniture you brought had already packed into the warehouse(In other words if the furniture weren't packed, others customers might brought them), but I saw what I bought were still there, I asked when I bought the furniture next day and I'd called your clerk not to deliver, why you still packed? and if you can't exchange why did you just let me choose other things? He said I asked you to pick something that weren't packed, I said most of the furniture I bought were there, Navid said you didn't buy those, those were new arrival, we have two same furniture. But he just said that I bought furniture packed to their warehouse and influence their sales performance and now there are two of the same pruducts. Anyway it's all his reasons. At last Navid said: "Why don't you come to find Amy tomrrow, she's resting today." I said: "I have plans tomorrow, is Saturday or Sunday okay?" But Navid said:"Amy's resting on Saturday or Sunday, it's only tomrrow " So the next day I make time to find Amy, I called Amy in advance but the clerk in store said: "Amy's off today and will work on Saturday. " （Are you kidding me?) When the furniture came home, there were several bad ones, I complained to them, they reply:"Not exchange or return, only fix" "What??? did I buy old furniture?" It's such a bad thing to meet this business! so I put this things on the yelp and hope more people will not go. Amy never showed up again. I bought my couches from Ambiance a little while back and decided to check it out again when it was time to redo my dad's place. I was immediately reminded why I went back. Great selection - The showroom is overflowing with THE MOST fabulous items. I'm talking anything you could want, they have. And if they don't, their team will help you get exactly what you want. (They even do custom pieces!). They work with your budget and don't try to upsell. While the major pieces are simply to die for, it's the details that really impress me. As an avid HomeGoods shopper and DIYer, I'm rarely impressed by sellers but this place got me. The art work, accent pieces, lighting, the list goes on and on - they have something for everyone. My dad, two of my sisters and my godmother have all done a revamp of their homes with Ambiance within the last two years. None of the homes look similar (you'd never know they shopped at the same place) but they all look AMAZING! What truly separates Ambiance from any other place is the team. It's not just friendly and polite service - it's an individualized experience. They really seem to get their clients and are therefore able to make recommendations based on your likes and needs. I never once felt rushed or pressured. And when my delivery date changed (manufacturing - nothing anyone could do about it) the owner called to make sure I was ok! Who does that??? I know this guy is busy and definitely has "high profile" clients (I've spotted two celebs in the showroom and know a few celebrity designers that frequent the store) - most other business owners would focus all their energy on those clients but he took the time to check on me. We bought a couch and our bed from Ambiance few years ago and we love them. I'm writing this review now because my toddler just knocked over my coffee on the couch - but I took the covers off and washed them in the washer and they look good as new! Ambiance has designers on staff that are super knowledgeable and easy to work with. They got to know me and my preferences and then put it all together. I even customized the bed. This place is BY FAR my favorite furniture store ever. My wife and I love to buy new stuff for the house, but both used to hate furniture shopping, because we often found nothing we wanted, or what we wanted was too overpriced. Now we both LOVE going to this place. We always want so many things that it becomes hard to decide on the final pieces. Everything they carry is very tastefully selected, made with solid durable quality and the prices cannot be beat, specially in orange county. On top of all that, the owner and all the staff members are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. No pressure whatsoever. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I've come to Ambiance home for over 4 years now ever since their previous location at Mission Viejo. They always have an amazing selection of furniture that I can never find at other local furniture stores. Even if they don't have something I need in stock their design team always goes out of their way to find what I need in catalogs etc. Their pricing is considerate too, and when one of my sofa legs needed repair after my mover accidentally broke it they had it repaired. I walked into the store needing everything and I needed it quickly. Wasn't sure if they even sold their floor merchandise I was greeted by Leslie. She said she could help. I was a little skeptical being she seemed so young. Boy was I wrong! We walked around the store I told her what I liked, she took pictures. She came to my house 4 hours later to look at the style and check measurements. 4 days later the truck arrived with lots of furniture. It turned out absolutely beautiful! Leslie is amazing!
