The VERY short version: I ordered custom chairs in November 2025; promised for January 2026. They finally arrived February 11 2026 but were built 3.5" too high and unusable. After repeated follow-ups -and finally a demand letter - I finally got semi-rebuilt chairs delivered May 1 2026. No one checked-in, offered an apology, or followed up through the almost 6 month process. I had to initiate everything. Way too much time, money and aggravation for a product I no longer want -- every time I look at them I'm reminded of the poor customer service. 2 stars because the quality of the chair is very nice. read more

Truly the best furniture shopping experience everrrrrrr. After months of looking for the perfect couch with no luck, we decided to look into custom options. Sofas By Design had excellent reviews and was exactly what we were looking for. We drove up early Saturday morning and got to the their showroom as they opened. The girls were sooooo friendly a started working with us immediately. They narrowed our search down by having us try different options of softness and material. Before we knew it, we were sitting in the most comfortable couch I've ever sat in. My wife loved the look and feel. We went with a crypton fabric with a trillium fill for the cushion and pillows, ohhhhhhhh sooooo soft. The quality is better than any of the high end furnitures we had shopped at. We knew we had found exactly what we wanted. In under two hours, my wife had picked out the design, fabric, fill and dimensions. They were sooooo helpful and professionally guided us through the process. The service was incredible and led to us getting the perfect sectional. Who says you can't have exactly what you want, well they obviously haven't been to Sofas By Design. Now the hardest part is the wait, we were told eight to ten weeks (pretty normal during Covid).
