The RH Outlet store has a lot of selections, but many of the larger furniture pieces are broken, damaged, or have noticeable defects. Smaller items can still be good depending on luck, and once in a while you can find a great deal and quality piece. However, I strongly do not recommend using their referred delivery service, 123 Moving. 123 Moving was recommended by the RH Outlet store since they don't offer delivery for large furniture purchases. I contacted 123 Moving by text to arrange a home delivery just a few miles from the store. From the start, their quoted price was on the high side, but I was open to discussing it.Unfortunately, the owner's attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. I wasn't even trying to lowball the service, yet he responded with a "take it or leave it" tone. When I offered a fair and reasonable price, he said they could deliver but only curbside -- meaning I'd have to carry the furniture inside myself. After that, he simply stopped replying altogether. This kind of customer service deserves zero stars. A professional owner could have handled this so much better -- even a simple "let me see what I can do" would have shown respect and effort. I always get so excited to visit this store but haven't found much over the years. You have to be really careful as the prices aren't always good. I almost bought something recently and before I checked out I looked at the RH website and realized I could buy the same thing new with the 30 day return option for the same price. If you have a huge room for which you're looking for future... you might find some here. I, on the other hand, was looking for a small loveseat for home office for a condo. The furniture they had here was likely bigger than the entire room I was trying to put the loveseat in... in fact, the furniture was far too big for even my living room. (Note: I have been to regular Restoration Hardware stores and did not have this issue.) I was also unimpressed with the service, or lack thereof. No greeting, no checking in with me, no... nothing. I appreciate it when salespeople leave you to wander around, but I kind of felt like I was an inconvenience for even being in the store? It's nice to see you get the same caliber of service here that you get at the regular galleries. A quick nod to Christina (sp?) for displaying a great sense of humor last year. Service here is superb! Anyone who says otherwise is clearly having a bad day. The staff is truly wonderful. No one is going to follow you around. It's not that kind of store where they're trying to sell you. Pieces here sell themselves. But if you ask for help you'll be wowed by the staff. The trick is to come on Tuesdays and Thursdays. That's when they get a majority of their shipments. They have a fairly large selection of couches, dining tables, and dressers. The items are usually in great condition- we lucked out and got a dining table for 50% off that was still available for full price in-store! There are great deals to be had, if you're patient. This is a really nice RH outlet. All of the things they sell are in like new condition which is a big difference from Long Beach. The store is HUGE & wide open which makes for an anxiety free shipping experience! It's also very well organized, so it's easy to see what you're looking for as soon as you walk in the front door. There is a huge parking lot right in front of the store that makes it super easy to get in and out & especially easy to load your purchases. The whole staff is so friendly and welcoming - I cannot explain how nice that feels. It's a much different vibe from the LB location. They get new stuff 4 or 5 times a week so if you don't see what you're looking for you can check back until you're successful. I subtracted two stars because of how much the prices seem to have gone up. I understand that the economic situation has caused that to happen everywhere, but these prices seem to have gone up an extraordinary amount. Before Covid they used to have sales on certain categories of merchandise all the time. So if you needed a bed you could just wait until all bedroom furniture was an additional 30% off. Now they don't do any sales anymore, which is pretty disappointing. Between raising the prices & eliminating the sales it's become a totally different store. For example- the last time I was there (which was about 2 weeks ago) the leather sectionals I looked at were all over $15k. Picked out few furnitures at unbelievable prices. We purchased more at Irvine location so it can represent for all RH outlets around the area. We got 5 things here at about 60% to 80% below original prices. Beautiful dining storage table with little chip but now looks new with little paint job. Original price about $3700 but we bought it for $1400. Also, purchased smaller matching dining storage for same rate without any damage. We kept on going for few weeks until our house was ready to move in.... We also got beautiful bed frame, bedroom drawers, coffee table and additional little things. One of the worse retail customer services I have experienced. This is my first time coming here with my two toddlers. Particularly there is this red short hair older female employee, not only she did not greet or welcome or say anything when we walked in the store, and she just 10 ft from us, she looked at us. I smiled the moment she looked because that s a natural thing to do when people has eye contact with someone. She just kept her straight face almost like she s annoyed because we came in. Extremely odd. Then we walked around, my toddlers were watching one of the employees assembling a bed frame on the floor. My 2yr old son was standing on a dark velvet sofa to watch, out of nowhere, this same red short hair older female employee came and said, "hey, no shoes on the furnitures guys!" I immediately apologized and moved my son off the sofa then I once again apologized. No acknowledgement at all, she walked away like she's super annoyed that we are in the store. I felt super offended to be honest. I don't know who deserves this kind of attitude when just walking in a retail store to browse. Can she find a better way to let the customer know the store policy yet make them feel welcomed? Absolutely, but she chose not to. She didn't care. When we were browsing around in the store, I saw her once sat on a sofa. What does that mean to me? She has time to sit on the sofa, but did not make an effort to ask me if I was helped or needed anything but two other ladies did ask me. Then when my toddler stood on the sofa, she made a trip to tell us it s not allowed and don't do it. This particular older red short hair female really makes me feel targeted. Worst customer service ever! I walk in there with my mom and none of the workers greeted us and asked if they could help us. They were all talking. I was finally approached by this lady in her late 50's and she seemed kinda snobby. I liked her Michele watch but that was about it. I bought a nice lantern for our backyard and it was pretty heavy & a down comforter for my kiddo. Keep in mind, I am 8 mth pregnant and asked if I could have some assistance to my car. The lady was so rude and looked at me like I was lazy and was mad cause she had to walk it over to my car which was parked in the handicap section about 10 steps away from the store. My mom has a disability & can't walk too well. Anyhow, my mom was very shocked on how we were treated and so was I! Truly disgusting! The RH in La Mesa are filled with super nice and helpful employees and also Long Beach. We will NEVER return to this RH outlet again after our last experience. Lastly, this place has barely anything compared to the one in La Mesa and Long Beach. Go elsewhere unless you want to be treated like garbage, I was seriously so disgusted like Julia Roberts on "Pretty Woman"!!! read more

I have been shopping pretty often here as well as the san diego location- I really like some of their pieces and dont mind paying the right price for the right item to make my house look beautiful- however, this location has a rude and condescending "manager" First- tag your prices correctly and if the error is on your end, honor it!- that is the right thing to do 2nd- this is an outlet location not the main retailer, dont act like you own this place and the discounted price is coming out of your paycheck 3rd- understandably, as customers of an outlet store we know the items may be in need of some attention or come with a defect, again that is why they are 40% off discounted but dont treat clients as you are doing them a favor, we are here to shop and as it is, pay a high price tag for your items. read more
