My pre teen daughter needed help with her closet and room. Christine was so amazing with her, she helped her edit out her clothes. If I had helped her, I would have tried to convince her to keep half the stuff- that had sentimental value to me, not so much to her . It was nice having someone objective working one on one with her. My daughter connected with her quickly because she was so nice, friendly and very vocal about the process. My daughter was able to make all the decisions with her guidance. I feel confident knowing that literally every little thing in her room, down to her socks were edited by her and Christin. Now everything in her room are things that she actually wants and will be using. Christine is very professional, and focused. She is so knowledgeable about the process and tips and tricks. She wore her mask the entire time. She did not stop moving the entire time she was here, she was hustling through every project! She was super motivating, Loved that! I have nothing but insanely positive things to say about Christine. She was originally recommended to me by a couple of friends after they wouldn't stop raving about her -- and now I see why. She's simply amazing. Thanks to Christine, my room can actually breathe now. Every item has a specific spot and the room on the whole feels so much less cluttered. Christine is also super affordable and somehow (crazily enough), the worse shape your space is in, the more excited she gets to fix it. I worked with Shay to help organize my living area storage closet…read more I'm a neat freak, so my closet became a catch-all for anything that didn't fit into my space or anything I wanted to get out of the way when I had company. It got to the point where items fell on top of me when I opened the door. Enter Shay. She literally helped me empty the closet, determine what could be tossed, donated, and kept. We worked together to source storage containers that worked within the space and group items based on use. I admit I did feel overwhelmed with all the initial clutter, but the project only took a few hours. It helped to partner with someone who helped me get out of my own way when it came to redoing and taking back control of the space. It was a collaborative process and I absolutely recommend working with her.

We had a preview conversation prior to the job and I sent pictures so she knew what she was getting into. We discussed the process, the fee, etc. She suggested that I get two shelfing racks and sent me a link to an inexpensive one. I ended up finding a used one on Facebook Marketplace so we were ready to go! So when the day arrived, there was Nancy, right on time. She estimated how much time it would take (and sure enough we did end the day right about at that time!). I really liked her process - we created zones that made sense based on how the space would be used (aka: baby items near the side of the car where we get the baby in/out of the car), holiday decorations in another area, etc etc. we broke down boxes, we posted some items on FB marketplace while we worked and sold and offloaded items we no longer wanted right then and there. Nancy was friendly, inquisitive and helpful. We made decisions quickly and in the end, I had one box from which I needed to make some decisions, and a box with laundry we needed to do, and everything else was labeled and in it's place. The thing that I like the most about Nancy is, while she can organize things to look Pinterest-worthy, she cared more about function, which I appreciate. There are certain areas of my home I would want to look pinterest worthy and would spend extra time and money to do so, but not the garage. I need it cleaned and organized. Easy peasy. And she gave us a system that we've been able to maintain.

Immediately Gina got a grasp of what I wanted and immediately went to work. She is quick at finding out your likes and dislikes and works diligently. She told me the project would take about 2 months but it was finished in less time than that. The furniture and decor she recommended turned out beautiful even though I didn't think it would. Maybe that's why she is the expert and I'm the one needing help! I have already recommended her to other people I know. Gina was great and helped me immensely!!!

This is what we should ask ourselves when we are making the decision to "keep" or "ditch" (i.e., donate, repurpose, pass down, recycle, toss) an item in our home. The old adage "There's a place for everything and everything has its place." comes to mind. I'm already pretty organized, but I'm always looking for ways to improve and maximize storage...and the virtual 'KonMari Method™ 101 with Minimize with Purpose' Yelp Elite event was right on time. There are methods to the "madness" of decluttering and keeping clothing/shoes, books, and miscellaneous (i.e., kitchenware, bathroom, décor, garage, kid's crap) items super organized My biggest benefit was learning how to fold clothing (i.e., shirts, hoodies, and even socks) effectively to save space. Not only did this make things more tidy and presentable, but was definitely a time-saver for regular use or storage. She worked with me to declutter before a move, and then unpack and organize after, and it was worth every penny. She is fun and calm to have around; she was funny and frank about helping me declutter--and the best part is that at the end of each session, she took the trash AND the donations, so they did not end up sitting in my house for months (as they usually do when I try to declutter). She sent me receipts for the donations as well. When it came time for unpacking, she was--not suprisingly--super organized and methodical. She kept us on pace and on task, and unlike in past moves, we are several months in and the place still looks organized!
