It's never too late to organize your garage AND your life! Thanks to Ariane, "The Clutter Nanny,"…read moreand Shannon, my garage and my life is now functioning at a MUCH better capacity! After years and years of hanging on to "things" I never used, sold or donated and thus making our garage a messy, unsightly and unusable place, I changed my mindset, thanks to Ariane and Shannon and couldn't be happier AND healthier. It feels much better to live in the present than to hang on to things from my past. These are things I decided someone else could much better use and enjoy, and the adage, if you haven't used it in a year, you don't "need" it, is so true. Ariane and Shannon helped me and my husband to sort, donate, toss or keep so many things we had saved for 20 or more years. They also offer to take items to donate as well. I learned about my city's (Fullerton) numerous opportunities for large item pick ups and extra trash pick ups (for an added fee) in the process. I became a familiar face at our local disposal place, which I (don't laugh) was kinda nervous about going to before, and that's why so many things didn't get "dumped." Our garage now has useable totes and shelves and designated spaces for items we truly need and use for our home and life. Big pluses for "The Clutter Nanny" are that both Ariane and Shannon are punctual, hard working, organized, great communicators and schedulers, conscientious, creative, and fantastic problem solvers. Now, and for our future, we have our two-car garage back and I look FORWARD to doing my laundry, storing and easily getting outdoor accessories and decor, easily finding camping items and tools to use indoors and outdoors. All our garage clutter is gone, and with this mindset, which Ariane and Shannon fostered in me, which feels and IS healthy, I am positive, I will not go back to clutter again. I even went to an estate sale two weeks after our de-cluttering, and didn't buy a thing; I just enjoyed myself. Thank you, Ariane and Shannon!

It was truly a major downsize from our home of 10 years, to a new space and neighborhood that we intend to make permanent eventually. We brought only what we absolutely needed in to our small space but it was still a challenge and overwhelming to create a new living space that was organized with less cabinets and rooms! When I say challenging I'm talking about tears and feeling like we made a mistake about moving in to a smaller space even though temporary! Well Diane sure came to the rescue, first with a virtual consultation and an appointment to get started. What impressed me most is that Diane got started right away while I was on work calls because I work from home. She made her way through all our kitchen items and quickly sorted and put all the items in the cabinets that was organized and that made complete sense in how we would use the kitchen area! She did return to help with our tiny bathroom organization and cleaning supplies closet which helped tremendously! Diana also gave additional ideas for some storage solutions for things we do not use everyday which we executed not to long after her initial visits. My only regret is not calling Diane sooner for help! I definitely plan to use her services again when we move for packing and unpacking and organizing our new home! Thank you so much, Diane!

From the beginning, they took the time to understand how we wanted to use the space and offered practical recommendations for maximizing every inch without making us feel pressured or pushed toward unnecessary upgrades. Instead, they focused on what would actually work best for our home, our storage needs, and the way we use the space. The result is a much more functional, organized, and thoughtfully designed garage and master closet. If you're looking for a company that combines quality work with honest guidance and genuine attention to detail, I would absolutely recommend Garage Remedy. I have been working with Cristina for a couple of months. I am blown away by her level of skill…read moreand talent for organizing. I have had other organizers in the past. I've had good and bad experiences. She is by far the best! Here are some reasons: 1) She is a hard worker. She actually donned a hazmat suit, gloves and face mask to clean out the rat feces in my basement that were covering my items that were in storage so she could organize them for me. Are you kidding me? That takes dedication! 2) She is very decisive and plows through projects quickly. She helps me let go of things that I'm holding onto for unknown reasons. I had several boxes of moving announcements that were unused. I moved 6 years ago. I thought I should hold onto them for my next move. She asked when that would be, I had to admit that I had no plans to move in the near future. She suggested that when the time came, I might desire new moving announcements, rather than one's I'd picked out a decade ago. Out they went! 3) She makes it so easy. She is awesome at working independently. Once in a while, she just brings me a box to "yes" and "no". The 'no" items just disappear. This is great because I would get bogged down trying to re-home everything. That is not the point. I trust that she will find good places for all the items I no longer need. I don't even think about it. 4) She is very clever about how she decides to organize the keepers. She comes up with systems that equally incorporate both function and style. I could never begin to come up with these solutions. Though, when they are set in place, it make perfect sense. 5) She leaves my place immaculate. This is the best. She can tear it down and put it back together so fast. 6) She's just a cool person. She is professional. She is warm and personable. It's really fun to have her around and know that my house is going to be so orderly and neat when she is finished. I hesitate to write this review because I don't want her to get too busy to come see me;-) Though, I am doing it because she deserves all the praise and more.

Just too much crap to deal with that I kept putting off. The predatory pricing of my storage company (90% increase in 2 years!) angered me so much I started doing research for getting help with cleaning out my garage so I could move my storage items into it. Looking on the web, Kari Jane's Simply Organized was so highly rated, I felt confident that she could help. By wanting to pay a good service to help me rather than an out of control storage company month after month after month, I figured I had a good budget to work. Kari was very warm and professional and confident she could help me. After describing my situation and sending photos, she scheduled me promptly. She came over with 2 enthusiastic and hard working staffers and they got to work right away. Very diligent and organized and they made enormous progress. By the mid-day, the garage was completely cleared out. I thought it would take 2 or 3 days at least as I had a ton of crap. They diligently removed everything, sorted it out and categorized what could be tossed, or recycled or donated or would stay. And they diligently carried away several cars worth of donations at the end. The items I kept were put in nice transparent cases with clear labels, and there was a lot of room to move my storage in. It is such an enormous relief to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I highly recommend Kari Jane and her staff and services. Completely worth it! Thank you so much!
