Fantastic experience! Love Sarah's enthusiasm and skills! Delicious pad Thai and red curry that I will make again. We will be back!
What a great, fun experience. My grandson has bern really interested in cooking so I decided to try the 2 hour cavatelli class here at Hipcooks. Sarah was entertaining, warm, welcoming, encouraging and a great instructor. Made the class so much fun and my grandson couldn't not stop talking about how much he learned in a 2 hour class. The school itself is small but neat, clean and vibrant. Everyone participated in making the meal and sitting down together to enjoy it. I generally do not enjoy classes that are structured like this, but in this case, everyone was able to participate in all aspects and all portions of each dish if they wanted. My previous experience has been that each team makes one part of the meal and it gets assembled at the end prior to eating. I always felt I was not getting a full experience that way. This was structured differently and it absolutely made the experience so much more enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to take another class there. Thank you again Sarah for making this such a great experience.
I have done a few cooking classes at Hipcooks. We did a team building / holiday cooking class for 15 of us and it was great! We did the holiday happy hour and made empanadas, prosciutto wrapped manchego and pears and cookies plus a cocktail. It was hands on and fun. Highly recommend for both private and group classes.
Just took a cooking class with Sarah with my dad and it ended up being way more fun than I expected. I thought it would be cool, but it turned into one of those random memories you're actually glad you made. Sarah is super informative and explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. She's also genuinely funny, which made the whole class feel relaxed instead of awkward or stiff. The energy was great the whole time. She kept everyone involved, made it easy to ask questions, and somehow kept things fun even when we were getting hungry and lowkey impatient for the food. My dad and I were laughing most of the time, and it didn't feel forced or corny at all. The food turned out amazing, which I honestly didn't expect because... well... it was us cooking. But Sarah gives little tips and tricks that actually work, so everything came out way better than expected. We left full, happy, and feeling like we actually learned something instead of just following instructions blindly. Super fun experience to do with my dad, and I'd 100% recommend Sarah's class if you want to learn, laugh, and eat really good food at the same time.
Hipcooks hosted our work team event and it was a great experience. I have done several cooking classes before and this one was by far the most engaging and well ran. Sarah was great and made the experience fun and entertaining. I would definitely recommend them for any organized or corporate event.
great experience for my first cooking class! Kyra was knowledgeable, gave us tips & tricks and very open to our questions. Loreen was attentive which helped the whole class go seamlessly! 10/10 would go back!
Kyra and Laureen were great!! Loved the class and food was soo yummy! Will be back! Our team loved the experience and it was a great time
What an amazing class!! Such a wonderful evening learning cooking techniques and meeting new friends...I highly recommend Hipcooks if you want to learn in a welcoming and fun atmosphere. Great classes and great variety.
I found this place through instagram and decided to reserve a spot for the Eye of the Thai-ger cooking class. There was a total of 14 people including myself. Each student got a chance to participate in cooking parts of all the dishes. I really like that when we ate the dishes it was on a communal table, which made it feel a lot more personal. The instructor provided many cooking tips and educational information about the dishes during the class. I would definitely come back again. The food we cooked was delicious!

We did a team event here and it was so much fun! It was my first experience at a cooking class so nothing to compare to but it was super fun. There was tea ready for us to enjoy while cooking. It was very casual and very relaxed which I enjoyed. No measuring and based on the taste. We made Thai food (spring rolls, sweet rice with garlic shrimp, chicken satay, and whiskey sour). Everything came out really good and the team enjoyed it. read more

I've really enjoyed the classes at Hipcooks! Kristen is an exceptional instructor. You can clearly see her passion for cooking, and she brings that energy into her teaching. Sarah is also great! We had a great time at the pasta class and most recently took the Greek class. Delicious ! It's a great experience and a fun class to take with either family or friends. read more

Kyrsten was an incredible instructor for the risotto class!! I got this class as an early christmas gift for my dad. We came all the way from San Diego and had a great time. We learned a lot of skills- even things my dad had no idea about! We made incredible food, the other people with us in the class were very kind and friendly. There were 8 of us total, but Kyrsten did a great job dividing her time and making sure to answer all of our questions. Personally, I'm a very picky eater but I decided to be open minded and try everything, and I was surprised at how many things I liked! I would definitely take another Hipcooks class again:) read more

Had a really nice night out here making healthy food with zing. We were able to make tuna with a mango salsa, roasted pepper soup with pesto and sorbet. I am a dummy when it comes to knife skills and the instructor was so helpful. She kept trying and I kept messing up. A normal person would give up and she was so determined to improve my bad habits. I love to cook and appreciate making a healthy meal especially at the start of year. Everything was delicious! The instructor gave us so many good tips and i learned a lot. It was nice to get to cook with a group and get to know other people in class. Check this place out they have so many types of classes not just healthy ones. The instructor really know their stuff!! read more
