The instructor goes over everything on screen so you can watch before you move forward with each step. I always think its going to be hard but honestly its just so fun and who cares if your cookies turn out perfect or not. Mine never do but I am always impressed with how well I actually do. Classes are $50 per person and are worth the memories you make. Plus the cookies are SO good!

I had joined her awhile back and despite having difficulties of my own, I had fun and the cookies are delicious. After the first experience I have returned on numerous other occasions and do feel I have progressed a bit with my decorating skills but all in all its about the fun. The cookies are always well themed and we enjoy eating these for several days afterward. It really doesn't matter what the end product looks like as long as you have fun creating your masterpiece. As Frank on Everybody Loves Raymond would say, the stomach knows not ugly and these are delicious no matter the result. I will definitely return again soon for more of these classes and highly recommend checking them out for something different, fun and challenging

Sarah was entertaining, warm, welcoming, encouraging and a great instructor. Made the class so much fun and my grandson couldn't not stop talking about how much he learned in a 2 hour class. The school itself is small but neat, clean and vibrant. Everyone participated in making the meal and sitting down together to enjoy it. I generally do not enjoy classes that are structured like this, but in this case, everyone was able to participate in all aspects and all portions of each dish if they wanted. My previous experience has been that each team makes one part of the meal and it gets assembled at the end prior to eating. I always felt I was not getting a full experience that way. This was structured differently and it absolutely made the experience so much more enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to take another class there. That said, I understand time constraints and how challenging it can be with a large group. I imagine this experience would be even better in a more intimate setting. Overall, the food was excellent, and the instructors and staff were fun, friendly, and engaging. It is on the pricier side, but you're essentially getting a three-course meal, plus a 10% discount on anything in the store the day of the class, which is a nice bonus.

What was most disappointing was how the situation was handled when another party arrived. Although the staff knew the space had been reserved for a later group, no one gave us any advance warning that our time was about to end. A simple 10-20 minute reminder would have allowed us to finish decorating our cake and clean up properly. Instead, we were suddenly rushed to wrap everything up, and our birthday cake was not even finished. A staff member came over and told us, "You have to leave RIGHT NOW, the party has arrived," and we were essentially forced out to make room for the next group. This was especially upsetting because the cake was for a birthday and the experience meant a lot to us. What should have been a fun celebration ended in unnecessary stress and disappointment. Better communication and a little more consideration would have made a huge difference. ---------------------------- Updating my review: although our experience in the store was disappointing, the owner responded very quickly, took our concerns seriously, and resolved the issue in less than a day.
