It's a funtastic day today, a lot of prizes and delicious food. Meet a lot of amazing people too.

My husband and I have been owners of their amazing cookwares. The product isn't cheap but we are investing the most safe and the best quality cookware for our kitchen, the best for our health!!  We get what we paid for!! It's an Easy prepping/easy cooking and basically it reduces 50% less than the time compared with the old way of cooking, should I say--scientific method of cooking with this equipment. The food tastes cleaner and we no longer use any oil when frying and seasonings had been eliminated or reduced somehow. My husband and I got married over a year and he had health issues for several years prior getting married. And within one year of our marriage we hardly eat "TO GO" or "RESTAURANT FOOD". I personally cook using these amazing equipment. Fast forward---for two consecutive labtest his numbers turned out great and his physician DCd (Discontinued) all the meds he had been taking for several years. Take note, it's only 6 months of strict diet using/cooking/eating from this product!!!! Truly, truly amazing!!! Medicine Free body!! No synthetic vitamins ... NO NEED since cooking using the product preserves 93-95% of all the nutrients on your food!!! So, we save a lot by cooking and eating better OUR LIVES ARE BETTER !! QUALITY LIFE TOGETHER!! read more

The product and the knowledge of preparing healthy meals and the speed and convenience is something that I cannot put a price tag on! Happy Cooking made sure that me and my family will maximize our investment thru their after sales cooking class events and service. Chef Jael has the easiest for follow recipes but gourmet, delightful and delicious! I met owners too that had their system for 10, 20, 30 years and bought their cookware somewhere else and had issues with their items and Happy Cooking stand to their commitment of a life time warranty. One of them was a friend of mine that bought hers at a registered dealer in the Philippines and brought it when she migrated here. One of her spot welded handles came off and the consultant came and picked up the piece took it to Happy Cooking and the office replaced it with no question! After knowing that I became happier and more proud to share Happy Cooking Co. to others. Delicious clean meals everyday for my family is the icing on the cake of my investment. Thank you Happy Cooking for changing our family's meals for the best! read more

I have to say I'm a huge fan of the equipment Happy Cooking uses. It completely changed my life and I'm so grateful. Our family was exposed to extreme levels of mold snd toxins that just about killed me. You have to understand the cookware and the education they teach you about nutrition, metals, flavor, time and money saving. I could barely walk due to the inflammation and toxins in my body until I had one of the demonstrations. The food was amazing but what caught my attention was the amount of energy I felt after eating, no acid reflux for my husband and our autistic son are everything. We bought a set the night of our dinner and within a week of cooking with it I was walking a lot, energy levels were increased and I was very happy I could do normal everyday things again. Our family will not eat in anything else. You can taste the difference and being a cancer survivor with multiple autoimmune diseases i can feel a big difference!!! My labs reflected all this as well and I did not have to do the blood infusion the doctors were prescribing. When you lose your health there's nothing in the world that will compare to it. I could list numerous reasons why anyone should receive a dinner and learn how to improve their life!!!! We love the free online cooking classes from Jael that are easy and always entertaining. Thank you so much for all you guys do!!! read more

My overall experience at Happy Cooking exceeded my expectations. I have never attended a formal class and had hoped we would be doing hands-on cooking lessons. We actually watched the "cooking" and took notes. The hands-on part was when they asked for volunteers to assist with the different recipes. I participated in making Chocolate. Everything tasted delicious and was very easy to make quickly. The chef was very energetic, engaging, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Her assistants were also very helpful and a crucial part of the overall success of this experience. Besides learning great recipes, we learned so much about the foods we eat and how to maximize the benefits of the vitamins and nutrients we derive from food. It was fascinating to learn about the reasons behind organic foods, raw foods, and the way we prepare, cook, and store our foods. We learned how to prepare Gourmet Quickie recipes and I have already prepared the "Salsa in a Snap" which has become the ultimate hit with my family. I made a pitcher-full of salsa and my daughter literally finished it in 24 hours! I first heard about Happy Cooking from a coupon through Living Social. Cooking is a passion of mine and I was interested in this class to expand my culinary skills and possibly learn things that may seem obvious, but were only "figured out" through trial and error. Contrary to other reviewers on here, the staff at Happy Cooking did not push sales on their products. In fact, they only mentioned their cookware when someone asked about what kind of pan she was using and how do you know when it is done. She let everyone know if they were interested, she would give them all the information they wanted to know after the class, just ask. I was very happy they DID NOT PUSH SALES. They also sell a few "hard to find" food products in their little store which was also an option to visit, not a reminder to go check out. I host "Palate Parties" occasionally to try out new recipes on family and friends. I will be taking some of the other classes they offer at Happy Cooking along with new recipes to present at my future dining parties. This is a great class that will leave your palate totally satisfied and your mind craving for more knowledge on nutrition. Go check it out! read more

Highly recommended even customer service they will take care of you. I have 12 inch gourmet and have broken handle, they couldnt fix it anymore but they replace a new one. More satisfied. Extremely BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I mailed my $25 check for an item I won and never received anything! They won't do anything about it the best thing they can do is ignore the situation and move on. All they care is about selling and profit!!!! I had more leads but now I am done with these people. A loss to a company is never a real loss it's actually tax deductible but these people rather lose everything. I am a very disappointed potential customer who was about to buy something worth $5000 but got discouraged!!! Thank you very much read more

I took a friend with me and wasn't quite sure was to expect, especially while waiting to go back I saw all the expensive cookware and thought, oh boy, here we go they're going to hard sell the cookware. But, I was wrong! The class was great. Vanna is very entertaining and everyone got to go up and have hands on and some people even twice. I appreciated that she did that and didn't do the whole class herself. The class I took was for Weight Loss and I learned a lot. I don't just want to lose weight, I want to gain my health back and I appreciated all the things she taught us about certain foods and their benefit. After class I booked Vanna to come to my home to cook and dinner for my husband and I. It was delicious! I had bought waterless cookware some 45 years ago so knew the benefit of good pans. I also had one some testing of "good" water with my chiropractor and saw an improvement in my health. So when Vanna showed my husband and I what they had to offer, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out I needed new pans and needed the water system and I'm so glad I did!! Yes, it is expensive, but trying paying for medical bills when you've been told you have cancer, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure neuropathy and hypothyroidism. Believe me changing my habits and eating healthy will get rid of a lot of my problems if not all. Eating healthy equates to naturally losing weight, which equates to getting off medications, less doctor visits and less health issues. It's worth every penny!! Thanks Vanna for all your help and tips. I will be back for more classes, but I'm off for a two week vacation now! Carol J read more

I've always wanted to do a cooking class, and so my boyfriend surprised me with a "Gourmet Quickes" hands-on class. As soon as he told me, I went and yelped the place and while I was excited, I was also kind skeptical to if they were gonna sell me stuff (since that's what the other reviews said). So we arrived, and we all had our own little stations and it was a class of about 25. The chef, Vanna, was funny and pretty informative. She explained what she was doing and gave background info on all the different veggies and why they were used the way they were. She didn't try to sell all the Saladmaster stuff, however, it was mentioned and given some background on, but she said that's not what this class is about and kept it pretty brief. My main gripe was that I was wish it was a little more hands-on. I understand that with 25 people they are not equipped with full 25 stations, but I just expected to do more. We did get to go up and help make one item off the menu she had set, as did everyone else. So everyone got to do one, and we all tasted the food. Afterwards, they have a little shop where they sell all their stuff, and they're CRAZY expensive. However, the class itself was fun and informative with no pressure to buy the stuff they sell. read more

I attended the "foods from around the world" class and I LOVED IT! Jael was our instructor. She does cook using the pots and salad master that they sell but she NEVER pushed the products on the us. It was mentioned that if you wanted more info about the products, you can ask a rep after class. This class is not a "hands on" cooking class. It's a classroom setting, and you watch the teacher cook (sometimes she will pick out someone from the class to volunteer and get some hand-on) and at the end, you get to taste the food she cooks--- which was so delicious! I attended this class becuase it was recommended by a friend. Both of my parents suffer from diabetes and high blood pressure and Im learning how to make healthier foods for them. I received soooo much useful information from Jael (who you can tell is very passionate about what she does) and i have put into practice a couple of her receipes. Im all about getting out of the house and learning something new or getting a new experience, and this was definately worth it. Yes, you can stay home and watch the food network, but that means you dont get to taste the food and you dont get to ask one-on-one questions. I guess it just depends on what you like. I do recomend this class, but you want a hands-on experience, this is not for you. read more

The class was terrific as Jael loves what she does and is passionate about healthy cooking. Learnt to make lasagna, schezwan fish, mango salad and rice noodles with heathy spin on the recipe, surprisingly tasty and easy to make. Also learnt to make superfood shake and delicious vanilla ice-cream recipe. I got much more from the class than I expected. It's not a secret slow cooking is way to go to preserve nutrition but Jael reenforced that for me. read more

I have been to many cooking classes in the past and although this one is different (as far as you watch the cooking and take notes as opposed to it being hands on). I felt like I learned so much more about the foods that I use and how they are prepared. Not only in regards to flavour but also the overall health of the dishes and how they affect your body. I have attended multiple classes at this location and I am always awed and inspired by the dishes that they come up with and present. Who would have thought you could cook so many different types of food so quickly and all on top of the stove!! :-) Also there is a large variety of foods at each class. Being vegetarian myself I am sick of classes where all they teach for veggie dishes are pasta or salad. Sometimes they forget the vegetarians all together or call fish a vegetarian dish. Some of my favourite recipes that I have learned from these classes include an amazing flavourful hummus, a spicy sunflower dip thing (which reminded me of tacos) and a pasta made from zucchini instead of regular pasta just to name a few. I must say I was amazed and I now have a new repertoire of things to share with my friends. In fact I have brought two of them to the classes as well and they loved them just as much as I did. Cannot wait for the next series I get to attend. read more

I bought a voucher thru Living Social as well and was very disappointed. We went to this "cooking class" that was actually a demo that was actually a giant sales pitch. I also asked several times in advance if the dishes we would learn to make were vegan and was assured they would be. Also a lie. Very disappointing. read more

Happy Cooking Co. isn't all that happy. As a matter of fact, it was utterly disappointing. Like all of the other negative reviews here, I too purchased the Living Social deal for $32. When I arrived with my 3 friends to a room with chairs facing a staged kitchen with TV's I thought "What? We're not actually cooking? It's not a hands on class?". I think the information posted on Living Social was extremely misleading. Rather than "class" they should have used the term "demonstration" because you're just there to watch and sample. The four of us ended up leaving 20 minutes in (10 minutes of that was us debating a walk-out and planning a polite escape route) because it absolutely was a waste of money and time. Just to further prove the point of misleading words used in the the Living Social deal it states - "***Each student will get individualized attention***, and the laid-back, fun atmosphere makes Happy Cooking Co. the perfect place to get educated in the science of food and proper cooking techniques.". Individualized attention isn't possible when you're not doing anything that requires attention nor will it be individualized when you're just another face in the crowd. read more

It was...quite an interesting experience. I went with my boyfriend to the "Tastes from Around the World" class, and we both used vouchers we purchased through LivingSocial. The registration process was fairly easy. I originally called to schedule the cooking class I wanted to attend, but the lady on the phone seemed confused and told me that I just needed to register online. Simple enough. Went to their website and selected which class to attend and wrote down the voucher numbers. I actually registered maybe 5 days in advance. Received a phone call a couple of days later and they told me everything was set. The experience was quite different from what I'm actually used to in terms of cooking classes. It wasn't very hands on. Basically, there were about 30 people watching a lady hooked up to a microphone cook and talk about the different ingredients used. There also seemed to be a mistake because half of the class asked if this was the "Tastes from Around the World" not "Immune Boost." I didn't like how the teacher was talking nonstop and sometimes reading from a piece of paper about the health benefits from the ingredients used. It was useful but only up to a certain point. Sometimes the teacher talked about the cooking products but only to say that she wasn't using extra water to cook and only using medium heat. I didn't like the fact that the teacher did use the word "toxins" a lot. It made me feel like I was being pressured to think a certain way. And she was feeding me a lot of information I don't know if is necessarily true. Overall, we did get to sample the foods she cooked. It was an ok experience but I've had better. Save yourself the trip and the lecture about "toxins" and get the recipes off of their website. read more

This class was terrible. I swear I was lucky to make it out alive. I got to be told I was toxic and needed to buy their pots and cook with certain water to make me non-toxic. I have to quote the "teacher" here and I think this will give you all you need to know. "We humans are electric, if you don't believe me...stick your hand in a socket. You will feel how electric you are." Not a cooking class at all. It's the same set-up as at the county fairs at the pots and pans booth. They cook for you and at the end try and sell you their wares. Not worth it! At the end went to In N Out to get some real food...toxicity be damned! P.S. Happy Cooking: There is no cure for cancer especially not alkaline water. Once you have it you need ACTUAL medical attention not this "cure-all diet" as you claim. On a side note...read the filtered reviews people, can we really trust someone who rates their OWN business, makes me think the rest of these "good reviews" are just friends of their's and not genuine. read more

I must say, a little heads up about what this class encompasses would've been nice for those who don't care about nutrition, because this isn't your everyday cooking class. This is a totally different cooking class , but in a good way. I learned delicious recipes that are fast and simple, and friendly helpers brought us the finished recipes to our seat to eat, but the chef talks about what we eat can weaken or strengthen our bodies. Any nutritionist will tell you that, but she went much further and explained that uncompromised food can empower our immune system to have the ability to heal ourselves from colds, to even cancer. I was skeptical at first but, I've been to a few classes now and I understand what they promote is natural healthy food helps give the immune system what it needs to do it's job correctly, which is protect us from sicknesses and diseases, but also so we can be healthy and functional. I had an uncle die of a heart attack when I was a kid and my parents said he ate quite a bit of pork and it clogged his arteries, and that his overall diet was a contributing factor. We've heard things like this before, but this class explains deeper that what we eat is broken down into the foundation of blood to tissue to cells and then into muscle. If the foundation is poor the finished product will be poor too, hence weak functioning body, (tired, sick, looking weak, even diseases). She shredded a carrot had someone taste it, then she put the rest in a glass of tap water and had some try the carrots again and it tasted less flavorful and bland according to that person. It was explained that steaming and boiling our veggies compromises the integrity of the vitamins and minerals because they are water soluble and the loss is noticeable in the taste. Well as you can see, I'm getting on more of a health and nutrition angle, but that is part of what is covered in the class. And based on the reviews so far, some don't care about that. For the record, this is a health and nutrition introduction to healthy cooking that I have never seen before, they promote an interesting cooking system called Saladmaster made of 316Ti, look it up. They prepare food fast and uncompromised way that preserves almost all of the nutrition to the point that some raw food enthusiasts eat this way. I've been to quite a few classes and bought the cooking system, so I can come free for life. I understand not everybody is in to learning new ways of cooking or a brief lesson on why we are the fattest, overfed and ironically one of most malnourished nations, but if we make some reasonable changes we can be so much healthier. Food was great, people are friendly, recipes are easy and after learning and doing my own research, this idea of cooking food makes so much sense and I have no problem promoting a class that wants to show people how to prepare and eat the healthiest food! read more

I went to Gourmet Quickies and thought it was very educational. Although this class was not hands-on, we were given the recipes, she demonstrated everything she was doing, and we got to taste the food aftewards. Something you don't get on the food network! I'm into healthy eating and a believer that you are what you eat. This class informs you on the nutritional beneifts of spices, foods, water, and etc. I thought it was very helpful and would want to integrate healthy in my every day life. I highly recommend this class to everyone! Especially for those who are really into wanting to live a healthy lifestyle! I would definitely attend another class! read more

After meeting with a specialist from a well-known home improvement center, I was offered a "free" dinner for my family and a guest family from Happy Cooking Co. My family was skeptical but I was guaranteed there was no obligation or commitment to purchase anything. Communication wasn't great with them but things progressed. The host cook was very personable and knowledgeable. He came to the house to cook tasty- chicken, rice, veggies and salad for 4 adults and 5 kids. There wasn't enough food for dinner. He demonstrated the SaladMaster Cookware and water ionizer. We were impressed with the food chopper/processor and electric skillet. Nothing is free- we were offered us the smallest set of pots for $2,000+. We said we would "think about it." After thinking about it, we came to our senses. At his follow-up call, I told him the 2 reasons why we are a hard sale- 1- we already have pots that work just fine. Why replace something that isn't broken? (you can do the research) and 2- we already eat healthy (the pots aren't going to make us or anyone eat any better than we already do.) Overall, we enjoyed the experience of interacting with someone new. We got to hang out with our friends and the kids had fun. I don't mind the call backs. If you are considering the products, be sure to do your homework. Signed- a hip, truth-seeking mom read more
