We picked up a birthday cake that was pre-ordered for my niece birthday. The shop has lots of pre-wrapped pastries that looked quite fresh! We didn't get any though because we were going to a huge birthday dinner and wanted to save the calories. The cake was very small I think only 5 or 6", was pricey but yummy. It was packed with fresh ingredients and mango flavor.
This bakery is amazing. They're always so kind when I walk in. They have the prettiest pastries. I took them to a friend's house once and everyone was in awe. This time I got the 6 inch tres leches cake and it was also a hit. So moist! The prices are reasonable and it's located in a big complex with lots of stores so there's a ton of parking.
In the area again and we had had to get our sweet tooth fix! This time we had Black Forest, guava lillikoi and raspberry lillikoi.
This small probably locally-owned bakery is unassuming from the outside but they're quietly offering delicious treats that you must try! The staff are humble and exceedingly friendly which is becoming more and more rare as prices in the OC soar beyond tolerable levels. However if you have a few extra dollars in your pocket, spend them on the lovely chocolate or raspberry cream walnut croissants at this place. Airy and light but flavorful bundles of joy! I also ordered the delectable chocolate cake, which was not too sweet. 4 layers of cake and filling. You can actually taste the chocolate in the light layers. One can still imagine the affection imbued into their baked goods as you enjoy them. Unlike many of the others nearby who have crossed into "it's just a business" mentality. Run don't walk to this hidden gem! I will definitely be a repeat visitor.
Still yummy desserts but if you're looking for the sweet stuff, might want to try somewhere else. They have only light and fluffy compared to dense and sweet! Very unique flavors though! And service is great.
Received this as a gift for my office! I believe this is the Fruit Tart (Big). They definitely are generous with the fruit, but the tart part was a bit think and harder to eat. The flavor was great--not as sweet, but delicious. This was enough for about 8 people! Definitely cute for any occasion. I got the chance to try the Matcha Cake as well. The matcha was pretty bitter, but yummy for those who are matcha connoisseurs!
Super cute bakery located right next to crumbl. I actually stumbled in because crumbl was closed. Everything is really clean and the lady behind the counter was kind. I asked her what her favorite mousse was and she told me the mango chocolate. It was good but not very sweet at all and it was lacking very much flavor in the mango part. I will be back to try other things!
Love the cakes here! I got a Yule log (Bûche de Noël) cake this time for Christmas and it was a hit. Very beautiful cake and it was delicious, not too sweet. The decorations were cute, too. Only thing I wish is that the decorations were edible haha.
While I was in the area this afternoon, stopped by Bakery 101 as I've seen so many good reviews for a while, and also hoping to get some croissants. Walked in the store and there was no one there other than a lady that appeared to be the owner or manager. She told me they only have the croissants on the weekends. Chatted with her for a bit and left. The rating is for the store appearance only and not the food. It is a super cute store and kept up nice and clean. There aren't a lot fresh baked goods on the shelves or in the case. I presume they aren't super busy during the weekdays so don't bake much until the weekend? The decorations are adorable and the owner was very nice and pleasant. I will be back in the weekend to try their croissants and other items, hopefully.

I ordered this durian cake for our anniversary, and wow... it's easily the best cake I've ever had. If you love real durian, you'll love this cake. The cream is super smooth and filled with actual durian pulp--no artificial flavor at all. The sponge is so light and fluffy that it almost melts in your mouth, and it pairs perfectly with the rich, fruity durian cream. I already love fresh durian and durian ice cream, but this was my first time trying a durian cake, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The 6-inch cake was $68, so it's definitely a treat, but I'd happily buy it again. Just make sure to order a few days ahead. The service was amazing too. Since it was our anniversary, they added a cute "Happy Anniversary" sign to the cake at no extra charge. When we picked it up, they even reminded us to head straight home because the summer heat could affect the cake. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their cakes and want customers to enjoy them at their best. Definitely coming back to try more flavors! read more

I would describe this bakery shop as a lovely place to get your cakes and cookies and actually any trinket that you want that they create. Like everyone said before this is a great place for Matcha cookies and Matcha cake. It does take a little bit if you want same-day service I called in and I would say about six hours later I was able to pick up my cake for a birthday it was really great in terms of service and in terms of their accommodation to my need. The workers speak Mandarin and they also only take cash if purchases are under $10 which are most of the cookies and some slices of cake unless you are purchasing multiple cakes like me. They have cake, pops, croissants, and many variety of cakes for you to buy à la carte. I will say that the price is a bit higher than what I'm used to in San Diego, but the quality is up there so expect to pay a little bit more but also know that it is quite good. read more

We went here last year to pick up my mother-in-laws birthday cake and we knew we had to come again this year. They are very friendly and quick, it's a smaller and quiet shop. We also figured a Japanese Cheesecake slice wouldn't hurt us... and it was so good! We enjoy coming here for our baked goods! read more

I went here 2 months ago with the mission of purchasing a high quality birthday cake for my mom. The owner is a sweet Chinese lady who was very kind and helped me with my order. I knew my family wanted something with chocolate and berries. Lo and behold, the Black Forest cake had everything we were looking for! When I returned a couple of days later to pick it up, I was even more impressed with the packaging. This was one of the highest quality and flavorful cakes I've been delighted to indulge in. I do love little bakeries like this that are family owned and have unique items and flavors. It's a very small little store with a few pastries and baked good, and in the midst of it they sell quartz stones as well so it is as random as can be. They do also have coffee based drinks but are limited to just a few selection like americano, cappuccino, and latte. I got a latte to go along with my almond croissant and raspberry lilikoi cake. The cake was just so velvety and delicious with the unique combination of raspberry and lilikoi. The almond croissant was so moist and packed with flavors that I wanted more. They do also sell cakes for large events like birthdays or any party if called in advance. There's no seating area inside the store but they have a communal seating area outside. read more
Ordered the matcha cake from here for my sisters birthday and it was really good! My whole family said it was good and not too sweet. The cream was light and the matcha flavor was very prevalent. I ordered the cake via phone two days in advance and it was perfect and quick when I picked it up. The ladies who helped me put were very sweet. They also have cakes on display ready to purchase, but I believe the matcha one you need to order in advance. I have been on the hunt for a good cake spot and I'm glad to have discovered this place! read more

I absolutely love this small family owned business! I came here in search of the best Tres Leches cake in Orange County for a birthday party, and alas I may have found it! The flavoring of the tres leches was very unique, and they can also add different types of fruit to your liking. What sold us was the chocolate tres leches cake, what a unique twist. I had never even heard of this before. We could not decide between them, so got both sheet cakes! They were both a hit at our party. This location is small, but very clean and organized, and the people working were very friendly and patient. There is a wide variety of unique flavors of cakes and pastries available. After I tried the other locations and decided on this one, I text the number they had available for orders and had everything set up for the party. The pickup of the cakes went very smoothly, they even helped me carry the cakes to my car. They give you detailed instructions of how to make sure the cake does not get damaged during transportation. I already had a friend that tried it at our party and ordered a cake. I will definitely be back to try some more treats! read more

Splitting my rating here. I got a personal size tiramisu which was pretty good. I also got matcha cookies because I love matcha and I love cookies but I did not love the matcha cookies. I actually threw them away. I got a raspberry cream cheese croissant which looks delicious but I'm saving it for breakfast. Their cakes looked beautiful. Maybe that is their niche. read more

Highly recommend this place!! I am so glad that it is only 5 minutes from my house. I called in 4 days in advance for the matcha cake. It was so rich and soft, they use good matcha 10/10, the matcha cream was so rich in flavor and not too sweet. Definitely will order again and try their other flavors. The store is very small, located next to crumble cookies. Plenty of parking. read more
I called to make an order and they were so easy to work with, they took my order and information and texted me a picture of the receipt. I ordered the matcha cake and it was ready when I got there. The cake was beautiful and the taste itself was a light matcha taste with a soft cake with whipped matcha cream that wasn't overly sweet. I'll be going here for more cake orders in the future! read more

They have plenty of ready made cakes. Last time I went, they ran out of the size I was looking for and waited 10 minutes for them to put one together in the back. You can always call ahead, when you're on the way.
