The shop is super minimalistic, bright with cute decor. Service is friend and prompt, drinks come out quickly. We got the cloud matcha latte and creme brûlée ice coffee. Their matcha is ceremonial grade which is a plus. Theres a choice between matcha cream or vanilla sea salt cream with the cloud matcha. We got it with vanilla sea salt cream and it was the perfect combo! So delicious. The crème brûlée iced coffee is so good too! I was a little worried that it might be too sweet but not at all! Ordered takeout from Leaf N Cream for our office. I went with the Blue Coconut Matcha Latte, which had a very strong and earthy matcha flavor that wasn't too balanced by the coconut milk flavor. It did taste better the longer it mixed and settled, but it was definitely underwhelming. read more

So this place is a little confusing as some drinks are from Cotti and others are from Leaf n Cream. We definitely enjoyed the Cotti Coffee more than the tea house. Def try the Pompas and the Toffee coffee for something a little different than you can find at other places. The boba from the tea house was chewy and the tea was seemingly watered down. So stick with the Cotti Coffee! The one downside was there were so many to-go/uber eats orders that our in store order took forever. read more

Went here on a Friday around 12:30 and it was not too busy so my drink came out quick! The person that was working was very kind and helpful too. I decided to go with the build your own drink which I thought was cool. I haven't been to many boba shops where you get to choose up to 3 flavors. I chose the Jasmine Green Tea and then my 3 flavors were Green Apple, Lychee, and Peach! I also added Agar Boba! The drink was very refreshing and the combo of flavors was very good! I got it at 50% sweetness which for me was still a little too sweet so I'll do 25% next time. The agar boba was good too and I am looking forward to trying the honey boba next! I'm not sure if it was because I adjusted the sweetness down to 75%, but it didn't taste nearly as good as it sounded on the menu. Discovered this place by accident..located off 5 Fwy by Newport/55 Fwy split. Nice little Boba shop with quite a bit of variety. My favorite is their Mango Pomelo Delight! But, their red bean milk tea lacked red beans..where a scant amount was given compared to other Boba places. Their cup sizes tend to be on the smaller size also, hence the better pricing. I think it is rare that boba tea fanatics give out 5 star reviews because the expectations are so high in the SGV and OC but Leaf N Cream has got it. I think the even have a place where people can take their pictures on the wall for their Instagram stories or whatever. But you gotta do best in what the people came for which is the drinks. My fiancée and I ordered the Viet coffee and jasmine milk tea and the wait time was quick, just around 5 minutes. I was making a 2.5 hour drive back to LA from San Diego and the Viet coffee was exactly what I needed to power my way back home. My fiancée ordered 0% sweet with boba and I ordered the Viet coffee regular as-is. Jasmine is a common flavor that any self-respecting tea establishment has got to make right and they definitely understood the assignment. Good tea flavor, not overpowering, not artificial, good tapioca texture and flavor. Nailed the fundamentals. As for the Viet coffee... Money. In. The Bank! What else could I say other than the fact that it tasted like liquid crack. They both have real fruit chunks, which is a pleasant surprise every time you have a sip. The Mermaid is a strawberry puree with milk so it has a smooth flavor compare to the smoothies. All three drinks were fantastic and I would order them again. The service at this cafe is wonderful as the staff asked me and made sure that she didn't mix up with other strawberry drinks, which I appreciated so much. Their milk tea was pretty watery and the rose tea pretty much overpowered the vanilla flavor. For 25% sweetness it was really sweet, so much so that I didn't drink the entire thing. The strawberry drink had bits of strawberry in it, but I didn't find it to be tasty. There seemed to be more water in it than anything. He didn't finish it either. They have a wide variety of teas and you can create your own mix if you choose to do so. However, this is the second time we've been here, and for almost $6 a drink, I don't think I'd come back based on the quality of drink we were given. I was craving an oolong milk tea, but I didn't see it, so I opted for a Thai tea. It tasted like your standard Thai tea with not much speciality to it.
