Want to impress your date? Then don't come here. Police cars and a guy on the sitting on the curb being interrogated by a couple of officers, that's what I've seen here twice at night, once during the day. Probably shop-lifting, but maybe worse. I rarely shop at this store, but when I wanted to buy a cheap $400 laptop at the Irvine Barranca store, they didn't have it. I called, and no other local store had it but here. Same thing when I wanted a cheap HP printer about $100. I got decent service from the tech guy who knew enough about my selections and weeks later, realize everything he said about the product was all right. The shelves weren't exactly fully stocked. but there were employees putting out stuff. And some of the customers might be beautiful on the inside, but many need a shower before going out in public. A gang of little munchkins had their hands over all the apples and bananas, and proceeded to touch everything they could get their hands on. It's not Wal Mart's fault, but still, you can believe I don't buy produce here. The checkout process is a mixed bag. The employees at checkout were pretty friendly, though sometimes slow with the masses of humanity. The aisles throughout the stores are often narrow and blocked specially when there are people with strollers, in wheelchairs, or entire families choosing what type of this or that to buy. The worst thing about this store are the bathrooms. If you wanted t study on grossness, this might be your perfect place especially when the store is crowded. The parking lots at night are dark but active before 9 PM. Then it becomes a ghost town except on the weekends. I worry about those women who shop alone and are texting instead of paying attention to their surroundings. I wish they'd turn up the lights. If you and your date want a dark place to smooch at least you'll have that. read more

Went in today ..there was an asian guy sweeping the floor in womens clothing..he said excuse me and wanted to put the broom back..ok sure...it was an odd spot since there were racks of clothes ..so at the other end of the womens clothes section he was there again and then i was looking for gum and this guy was there again WTF i said are you following me..then when we went to self check out they said sorry you need to go to a register..what the actual ..f...seriously so i had to go wait in a long line..i felt completely unsafe and targeted!!! I was here this morning and was appalled at what I saw! Even though there's a mandate to wear a mask, which most people were, a majority of store employees were wearing masks incorrectly. They had them on with their noses out! They were more following the gist of the law instead of the letter. They may as well not as wear them at all. I purchased a $100 Apple iTunes card from this location on the evening of 5/4. When I got home to redeem the card and connect to my iTunes account, the code had been scratched off and was not legible. I contacted Apple on 5/4 by email and was asked to send photos. I did not get a response all day on 5/5 and so I returned to Walmart on 5/6 and spoke to a manager. I was told that the item is not refundable because of the code being scratched off and to contact Apple. After over an hour on the phone with Apple I was told that there is nothing they can do and to go back to Walmart for a refund. Long story short I am out $100+ tax on this iTunes card that was sold to me at this Walmart. This is extremely fraudulent and I want my money back! read more

Took 20 mins to get help at fishing counter, The cc machine did not work and I was scolded by lady rep for pressing tab that said if u need asst press here when machine was not working. then she takes me to garden area to pay. We get there there is nobody to ck ppl out. Now she wants me to meet her at customer service. I went outside and met her at register w/nobody in line. SAahe then tells me i got to go to customer service where there are8 ppl in line w/1 person working there. We go to Wal-Mart every week. The checker named Cynthia was rude and told us to go to another line. We were in the 20 items or less, yes we had over 20 things, but we were buying tobacco. My pregnant wife and I went in to pickup a tent for the beach. We couldn't find one in the isle the Walmart app said it was in and then we ran into Diego, who I believe holds a manager position. He was the absolute most helpful Walmart employee I've ever met. We showed him on our phone of what we were looking for and he knew exactly where it was then offered to help carry it to the front. Who is the hiring specialist in this location? Seriously, every employee here is rude and it's only a matter of time when they injure someone. I cannot believe how unprofessional this location is. Firstly I wanted to the lady that picks up online orders is rude and arrogant, she dropped something and I was about to let her know when she says "I'm busy with online orders, go ask somebody else" I was shocked when I heard this. Fast forward to the self check out, the guy there was rushing us to get our receipt and move for the next person. There was no reason for this since there was no line! Him rushing us caused us to miss one item scan and the lady at the end literally just took it off the cart with out asking us if we wanted to keep it and just pay. I will be blunt. If I just need something that will be quickly used for its specific purposes, I'll mosey over here. I do try and avoid here because you do see some sh*t but, for the most part, I've had no issues with this place. Cleanliness, it's okay. You'll see your occasional open boxes because customers feel they have the right to inspect the packaging (although they then put down the box they opened to grab another box), and it can be a mess in the clothing area because people apparently do not know how to fold clothes. I haven't had the urge to check out their grocery area, as Sprouts is right next-door for all of our grocery needs. Parking can be a little bad. We tend to just park near Sprouts. We have a theory that the closer you park to Walmart, the number of bad drivers tend to increase. Service is okay. They don't want to be there, and I can't blame them. Anyways, it'll fit your basic needs, prices are okay. Sometimes, quality isn't bad at all. People are real characters, though. read more

Is it mean to say that almost every employee here looks as if they hate their jobs? I've been in the customer service industry for the past 12 years and I believe a smile goes a long way. Apparently this is not the case for the employees of Walmart. I am glad they opened self-check out stations rather than standing at the register in awkward silence while the cashier looks at me with disdain, I can just keep to myself. I only go here for my essential house cleaning items, personal hygiene products, and that's about it. Photo Center Review: Yes, I'm printing photos at Wal-Mart and shouldn't expect too much, but I'm no longer sending photos there and am frustrated enough to write a review. This is the second year in a row that I've ordered Christmas cards and they've gotten "stuck in processing." No one on the phone or in store can seem to help me, so I'm forced to pay more for one hour photo. Magically, the one hour photo works just fine. However, if you "send" anything off for printing, which isn't really sending off because they print in store, that process doesn't work and you're left with the choice of cancelling your order or getting it done in store. Seems like a nice scam to get people to pay more for their photos. read more

I have a love-hate relationship with Walmart: That's why it gets 3 stars. I always end up coming back here because they have a million items so you can almost always find something you need: and cheap! Honestly most of the time I would rather go to Target but sometimes you just need to do Walmart. I shop this Walmart Elise once a week. It is extremely busy Walmart. Most of the time they only have the self check out open. But the team they've got at the self check out are always very friendly and very helpful. One star is too high for this store. I just had the worst shopping experience of my life in this store. Had to search for someone to unlock some undershirts for my husband. I was told they would be at aisle 14 when I was ready to check out (I guess they don't trust customers to walk through store with them in their cart). When I was ready to check out there is no aisle "14". Just self check out. I told the lady there I was told I could pick up the T-shirts here. I checked through my other things and waited and waited. She eventually came back and says no t shirts here. "You'll have to go back to that area to get more". Like a dummy I go back. No person to help. Some other worker (without keys to the coveted locked t shirt area) says "push the button ". I'm not finding any button (no signage and in another aisle) so I have them walk me to it. I push the button- no response. I finally this is stupid. I went to service desk and voiced my displeasure at this whole mess of a store and that I will never step foot in this sh@& of a store !!!! read more

I've noticed it's becoming a common occurrence for cashiers to be listening to music on their phones while assisting customers. This is extremely unprofessional and rude especially when asking for assistance and you can barely hear them over their music blaring. read more

The young lady at the auto accessories area Made My Day!! I needed a car key copied. The key I received with the car does not work. It takes about a minute to jiggle it in the doors, on the trunk and in the ignition. She carefully made me a copy, examining it several times, and it works perfectly!!! Better than the one from the manufacturer with the remote entry fob, and the black rubber guard on top!! You simply will not BELIEVE how cheap it was; almost Free. omg. Mind you I had gone to a professional locksmith and received a key which was worst than the original and got stuck in the ignition (I won't mention who this was, he tried his best I guess. But he lied that the battery in my fob was dead. I checked it using O'Reilly's battery gadget and it was fine, just malfunctional). Anyway - she simply made my day, and I went back for a second key replacement. read more

I feel it's between a 3&4. As I'm not sure why Walmart never seems to have enough associates around when you need them. Especially at the registers as well as in the back for pick ups. The associates are for the most part nice but that's a hit or miss. Seem to have enough things in stock. I most recently had to pick up an oversized and very heavy patio furniture. They sent one senior gentleman to load it himself into my van???? Absolutely ridiculous. I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to finally meet me to bring it to my car and it was this poor man who was not capable at all to do this. He then needed to ask for help. Why have a senior who is clearly in his 70s try to load something a healthy young person can't even do themselves? read more

I should of known better to Not purchase anything from Walmart specially the one in mall of orange. They treat their customers like they are bunch of thieves!!! Key of success to any business is their customers but obviously there is no training or supervising over the employees here in WM. I bought a router yesterday from WM and I took it home but it didn't pair with my devices so I decided to return it . I have the box ,receipt and the device. When I took it back the "supervisor" named Jaime was keep saying " the serial number on the router and the box in not matching"!!! I was shocked but tried to explain him " is it my fault it's not matching?! " When you buy a merchandise it's obviously in a box and no one can or would check the serial numbers are matching or not!!!!!!! Basically Jaime didn't do anything and he kept repeating him self and he walked away without solving my issue. When I asked for another supervisor , he said Its me there are no one above me!!! If you have any problem call 1-800 Walmart and he ignored me completely. This is terrible for such a big chain store like WM! THERE IS NOT ROOM in this section for any kind of a line with carts...people can't walk by and everyone gets frustrated. I had a $9 bottle of makeup to buy and a few other items. The Village Walmart located at 2300 N. Tustin Ave, Orange, CA. Apparently corporate decision makers have opted to reconfigure this store and cause consumer problems in doing so. Here are the problems they have created: The main isle is packed 7 feet high with ladies hair color product right in front of the food isles. This creates a traffic jam of people and carts. The produce and meat sections have been diminished to a point that it makes no sense to shop here. The store manager told that they are required to adjust to the change. Other products that should be on the same isle are now elsewhere and with no though to a organized stocking methodology. Food items are being placed in random locations and isle ways are jam packed with unrelated products. This Walmart store has been in reconfigure mode for the past 3 weeks and all that has been accomplished is to make shopping here a bad experience. I seriously doubt the decision makers shop here and the should. read more
