I went into the candle aisle, and I found that there were some interesting candles. I found many that remind me of the ones I saw back in October. Came to TJ Maxx looking for some kitchen items. We really needed a new cutting board. Found that! I found a black and gray cutting board set that would work perfectly for us in the kitchen. That way we can chop up all the veggies and stuff. Score! Great price too. While looking in the kitchen area, I found the cutest mug! It's a Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy mug. It says "I am Groot" on one side, and a picture of groot on the other. Solid mug! And it is large- I mean oversized! One of the biggest mugs I've seen. It will hold a lot of water, tea or juice. I love it! The mug I didn't know I needed haha I used it every day now since it holds so much liquid. Less trips to the fridge (I'm lazy lol) read more

Coming in on a Sunday to shop for Easter. Found some great options but was missing stuff to it. The staff had me talk to manager "Daniel" and he right off the bat rolls his eyes and gives the strongest attitude just asking about a outfit for my daughter that was missing a bow and a skirt that didn't have the matching top which there was two of the same skirt missing the top..so was it even a set?? I guess only if he gave better customer service he would have known but eye rolls and attitude is not it! Dealing with this on a day off is the worse. Came here the other day and it was a mess. I everyone looking for the deals while putting the workers to work. Staff were great and helpful but you can tell they were a bit flustered. There were a lot of items in the store but a bit hectic while searching. The toy section is my favorite department. You can find some trending toys at a cheaper price which is always great during the holidays. I normally love TJ MAX and HomeGoods, but I had an awful experience at this location on March 27 at 3:30pm. The people working/ managers there had no one working at the front. Finally someone came and I asked them for the price of a dog bed. They took forever and finally came back and claimed the dog bed was 25 dollars when all other dog beds that were the same size and type were in between 10-20 dollars. Normally when there isn't a price tag they will bring a similar product and they did not do that and refused to disclose how they determined this amount. I believe they were trying to rip me off which has never happened to be me before at a TJ max. Not the best selection, but also not the worst. Compared to other TJ Maxx locations, this one has very little product. They barely have any items on the shelves and the workers aren't efficient either. The checkout line took super long even though there were a lot of employees just standing around talking behind the registers. The prices are always great though. I was able to find a couple of items that I wanted and the employee that helped me out was really nice. Definitely worth a shot to find some awesome deals! read more

careless employee. My mom was going to go return something that my brother had bought her but she no longer has interest in; she was looking to see if maybe she can exchange it or get cash/store credit, and usually they always ask before hand what would you like back but now all of a sudden it's not. When we get to the cash register she handled us very rudely from the start not even a hello. She just grabs the receipt and scans it and says "your free to go" me and my mom are just confused and she says "it goes all automatic to the card it was purchased with" I look at my mom and I speak up for her and say " this has never once happened when we try returning stuff here" she says that "oh well whoever is telling you that is doing their job wrong" she goes on to say that "we didn't say anything" I said "we never have to ask you as a worker and so has others always gives us that option of what we want as return you as a worker didn't bother to ask" she said to let her try if it will go back but it won't and she says it's final then she replied with " also I didn't have to ask you" I look at my mom and tell her let's go and to end the conversation I said "no your just not doing your job right " I'm not sure if that's a new policy but I remember it being if you paid for it cash you either get cash back or store credit or your able to exchange and I know that if it's a card that's not yours you get store credit this has never happened to me tjmaxx do better with who you have in the front doing cashier and to whoever is reading this don't go to the fat lady with glasses. read more

This is my go to TJ Maxx. I feel like they don't have as much as the other ones do. I come here once in a while but when I do it's never crowded and there's plenty of space to walk through the isles. I wish it was more polished and organized is all. I had one bad experience a couple years ago with a management that wouldn't take back an item i never used, open or took the tag off. i think she's gone though. read more

This is a good TJ Maxx location with very nice staff that's welcoming. They have most of the basics you'll need, but the lower rating is they don't seem to get a ton of inventory options as it's not one of their super stores (this location seems to be on the smaller side). Maybe I feel too spoiled when I stumble upon a TjMaxxHomeGoods mega store. Over all very nice experience each time, it just hasn't ever been anything outstanding. I do recommend this location if you're in a pinch and need to find a gift near by. I'll update my review again for my next visit and maybe the stars will increase, stay tuned ;) read more

Stopped inside this store today, 11/7/23, while waiting for my car to be serviced. Store looked nice and stocked up and they were even putting out more items all around the sore. Everything looked well organized and grouped together. It was mid day around 3:00 pm . Place wasn't too busy but good amount. I went to my favorite section first, kitchen area, found a nice new pot I was needing, along with some more serving utensils, I didn't need, but what the heck. Took a stroll around the whole store. Finally Went up to pay because my car was ready, line went fast! They had 2 young guys working the registers. I must say they were both very attentive, both smiling, taking amongst themselves between customers. They literally looked as if they enjoyed their work! That is so awesome to see! Typically in a store like this i usually see females around the sane age or a bit older, that look like they hate their jobs and not customer friendly. These 2 guys I give a BIG 5 stars if not 10 stars for their customer service & friendly attitude!!!! Thank you, who ever hired these guys, keep it up! Great for last minute gifts and even personal necessities for yourself you can find everything. Clothes to decor to gifts to some gourmet food you will not leave empty handed. It's no secret that I shop at TJ Maxx. If you're on a budget, it's the best place to shop to get designer clothes for super cheap. You have to be in the mood tho and by that I mean, you have to know that it'll be chaos. Nothing is organized. Stuff is just sort of on shelves everywhere and you have to be willing to browse endless racks of stuff but for prices like $4-9, yeah, I'm game. My wardrobe has just kinda been blah lately and I needed some inspiration. So for $30 I got some cute shorts, skirts, and tops. I'm pretty much set for Summer and probably the rest of the year since our weather pretty much never changes. This store is also somewhat of a home goods as well. I didn't find anything I wanted there but I did get a great bargain on clothes so I'll probably be back for more when they refresh their collection a bit. Otherwise, service is great which is usually rare at these stores but it's still far from clean. Wash everything you buy when you get home. read more

I came to this store today after work wanting to look for a cute top for my birthday. I got to the store at 6:30pm all I wanted was to buy a cute top quick and leave the store. Nothing else. I get there and some lady at the door looks at me and says "we open at 10am tomorrow " I was like it's not 7 pm yet ? Your store hours says 7pm. She's like "I cant take anymore customers I have over 100 customers already in the store". I get it there trying to close on time but when there's a sign on your store / website stating that the store closes at 7pm then it should be open until 7pm. Or at least Change your store hours stating it closes at 6:30pm instead 7pm. This would save a lot of people's time instead of driving all the way there. read more

When I lived in South Orange County, I was a regular at another TJ Maxx location. So, before dinner last night, with time to kill, I decided to drop in to the Orange location to see what I could find. What I found I didn't like: Hangars all over the floor. On a few occasions, I picked them up and hung them on racks because it's a safety issue. Just messy overall. I understand it's the holiday season however it wasn't busy yet management should at least address the safety issue like hangars and merchandise strewn all over the floor,. As for merchandise, not a lot of what I was looking for. Not a lot of really great markdowns for the things I was looking for. Other deals to be found but nothing I was interested in. Let me let you in on something. This store is the bomb. If you have to furnish a house and have a few bucks, this is your store. The prices are incredibly low for top products. It's like a kid in a candy store for me. I walked in and was astonished at all the stuff they had for everything you do in today's life. Great place for gift ideas and shopping. They have a lot of variety and the staff is pretty helpful with what you need. I did spend a bunch for Christmas gifts. Really cute stuff that doesn't look pilfered or trashed like Ross. Love this TJ Maxx! It's very organized and they carry great brands at discounted prices. For example, I found skincare brands--the likes they sell at Sephora and Ulta--for super cheap! Ole Henricksen, Peter Thomas Roth, Shiseido, GlamGlow! My skin has been radiant lately because I am using luxury brands at discounted prices. All thanks to TJ Maxx! I found lavender essential oil for $6, a bunch of fancy purses including Dooney & Bourke, and one of those blackhead extraction loops for at-home facials! The price I paid was less than half of what I'd normally pay! Maybe I just got lucky the day I came in to score a great selection, but I was really happy about the lavender oil because I ran out of mine at home and needed to restock. read more

My wife just went shopping here, wore her mask, and had a coffee in her hand. She hadn't removed her mask, despite her holding a coffee, she moved about the store to shop. She was approached by multiple sales reps and they more or less cornered her as they all debated with each other, as no one could agree, on whether or not she was aloud to have a drink in the store. There are NO signs saying no food or drink allowed. If it is a COVID concern, she hadn't removed her mask. Anyway... they continued to argue about what to do with her, which caused a scene, and was quite embarrassing and humiliating. My wife went outside and threw her coffee in the trash, and reentered the store to continue shopping. If there is a store policy that you are willing to bombard customers over and demand they leave over it, maybe have signs outlining the importance of such a policy....and regardless of policy it was handled very unprofessionally. I bought a carrier bag for my puppy and it was defective, I used only once and it wasn't good for him, so I decided to take it back to the store, I lost the receipt and was told by the cashier that she was going to give me store credit, however Martin the store cordinator came to me and told me first that they didn't have one similar so I told him that they do have more and he told me to get it, when I was on my way he called me back and rold me that it was already used and he couldn't give me store credit or takenit back. That's not just unfair BUT THE WAY HE SPOKE TO ME IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS AND MY KIDS, HIS BIDY LANGUAGE IS VERY RIDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. He need to have customers with good attitude and manners. At this particular location it's give or take on the selection, there's days where I can't find anything then there's other days where I have to stop buying everything I see. Today was a day I found lots of goodies but I refrained from buying everything. The store was clean and everything wasn't in a disarray. The girl who helped me was genuinely friendly and not because she had to be. I was trying to return a merchandise that I purchased around 11:10 am on Sunday, 6/27/21. I went to ask one of the clerk on the floor if the store has a customer service counter for customer to return. She replied with an unfriendly expression that I need to stay in the long line like any other customers! So I joined the line that was already very long. I was very surprised and concerned as to why they don't have any customer service counter for return during pandemic time, so the customers who want to return doesn't need to wait in the long line in order to minimize the exposure with the crowds of all kinds of people who might not have been vaccinated yet! I spoke with the store manager, she suggested me to go online to voice my concerns! I told her that's her responsibility to set up a separate line for customer who want to return. I also mentioned to her that I will not be coming back to any of TJ Maxx stores! Eventually others will do the same due to the hassles they created for customers who need to return or exchange their merchandise! I don't think the even deserve one star!!! This location has always been neat and organized when I've come here. I used to come here all the time when I lived in Orange. They remodeled here a year or 2 ago & it's so much better now. The dressing rooms are very nice & modern & I always find something I like here for me, the pup & great gifts for friends & family. I LOVE their TJ Maxx rewards card...every time you spend a certain amount, you get a $10 certificate to use on your next visit. It's best if you can pay off the entire balance every month though. read more
