Time for an update! In case you haven't notice, this Trader Joe took over the entire building when CVS left, create a much larger store. I'm not sure they carry that much more food, but the layout is more open and you're able to get around easier. One thing I've noticed about Trader Joes is some of their prices are actually better than national chains. Apple Juice is a good example. It's been hot so I wanted some ice cream treats, and their mini-ice creams cones were less expensive than the traditional mini drumsticks at Vons. It can get crazy, and the parking lot can still be a mess, but that's on the customer, not Trader Joes. read more

For some reason, I've always thought Trader Joe's was a more expensive place to shop for groceries. But lately when I started giving it a try again I realized many of their items are a lot less expensive than other supermarkets. You can find most things under $10. I recently bought a bag of 6 navel oranges (super sweet too!) for just $3.99. They don't sell by pounds which helps a lot. Got a bag of frozen potstickers for $6 which would've been around $10 at an Asian market. Snacks are mostly between $2-$6. I'm starting to like shopping here again as they have many interesting foods that are affordable. read more

Came here after lunch to pick up some last min things for dinner and had the typical amazing trader joe's experience. Clean store, amazing service, shelves fully stocked. They were also doing samples of their guac and fall chips which were super yummy. read more

They say size doesn't matter, but those people have never seen Trader Joe's size. Particularly this store in Orange. It's yuge! Just like I like 'em. Huehue. No joke it's the biggest Trader Joe's I've ever come to and I've seen my fair share of them growing up. Now to steer away from glazing about Joe's size. I find the staff to be exactly what the internet says about them- easy to converse with, super helpful, and probably making their way through college (at least the ones that have helped me so far are). There was one time where I timidly asked a question about a food they had out of stock and the cashier just yelled out what I asked for and they had someone busting a mission to find it! I didn't even need it that badly but that has been a core Joe memory for me. Shout out to that staffer whose name escapes me. Since I don't have a huge family to feed, Trader Joe's has been my go-to for just the right amount of food that I can finish without letting it go bad. Shout out to the Mango Cream Bars, Bulgogi Fried Rice, and Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs. If there's anything consistent in my life, it's those three. read more

Everything was neatly organized and I found everything I was looking for. They had lots of items in stock and good prices. My friend recommended me to try the propolis for immunity support. Glad that the outer box was also wrapped. I also tried their bottle oolong tea and it was soooo good. Lovely strong tea flavor but not bitter. The good: This was a very big Trader Joes with huge aisles between the frozen food sections. It wasn't too crowded when we went. I like how they have a huge variety of international foods. I even got some chao tom (Vietnamese shrimp dish) in their frozen section. Their flower selection is a great price. Their whole milk yogurts are delicious. I love how they have new items all the time and many seasonal and giftable treats. I love their shampoos, hand soaps and sunblocks as well. The bad: They didn't give my 2 year old stickers like the others stores have. I wish they sold online gift cards that I could email people but I guess it's cool how they've always kept things simple from their ads, their laid back uniform, and their lack of delivery and connection to online conveniences. This is a wonderful Trader Joe's location! Place is clean and there's plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and they go out of their way to assist. All the cashiers are open at the same time. The stuff here is always fresh and the cheese section is out of this world! I love their seasonal snacks as well. Eggs here are cheap compared to other stores. Dairy products are top notch. Their quality of food is great. I noticed when I first walked in the door that they had a variety of flowers. Let me tell you that section stayed busy! It seemed like every other person was walking out with flowers. I bought some food items with great prices compared to sprouts. However, they did not have a large variety of vegetarian frozen food. Love that they made this Trader Joe's bigger! More space so that we don't bump into other shoppers. The people are not as friendly as other Trader Joe's that I usually go to. But friendly enough. The BEST place to go if you're looking for the mini totes / insulated totes. Doesn't get as bad as other locations. They pretty much get things about the same time others get it. But they do sell out by mid day if it's a popular item. Always love stopping by if I don't have lunch. You'll always find something to eat! read more

Staff was very helpful and there were no lines. Lots of check out stands ready to help you. Everyone seems to be excited and pleased about it from the shoppers to the employees. I arrived at 6:30 a.m. to wait in line for the striped Trader Joe's tote before opening. I understand the store wasn't open yet. That's not the issue. The issue is the unprofessional behavior of one employee who made a rude, sarcastic comment about me showing up early and then continued speaking negatively about me as I walked away. I found this humiliating and completely inappropriate. I came in excited for a simple, positive experience and instead left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Customers should not be mocked or spoken about negatively for waiting in line. So ridiculous for Trader Joe's a shame to have an employee like her represent you guys. read more

I would love to give this store a better review but their service is terrible. They don't pick up their phone and when I got to the store, I see most of them just standing there. If it were busy then I would understand the no picking up the phone but I counted about 7/8 workers just standing there. I even tested it by calling their store and watched the phone ring and none of the workers even looked at the phone. Will not be coming back here. read more

Trader Joe's never disappoints. I've been coming to this location for years. The new expansion has been incredible. The aisles are wide and roomy and the whole store just seems more open. I've also had quite a few wonderful if not amazing interactions with some of the crew members. Elisabeth was so incredible and took her time while I had a cart full of things and a 15 month old. In January Marci and Alexis totally made my day. I was looking for the rice crackers stars, and when I couldn't find them, they showed me the heart version and asked me how many they could bring over to me while checking out. read more

This is my go to store. I live so close that if I need something for the fridge I can be there in less than five minutes on foot. Outstanding customer service from the staff; Madelyn, Gwen, Emily, Brittney, Madison, Chiara, Peri, Lei, Allison, Alexis, Cheyenne, and Eileen..... All do outstanding work! I have been to grocery stores all over planet earth. This location has the nicest, friendliest, employees I have ever encountered. The prices are very reasonable compared to other grocery stores. I really like some of the unique products, like the pasta sauces, cheeses, and chips. The thanksgiving Chips are epic! I really look forward to them every year. Horrible customer service at this location. 2nd time coming to this one and won't ever come back. Even the first time I didn't have the best experience. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because one of the girls ( don't know her name) walked me over to the wine to try to help me, but her peers didn't even care to acknowledge me once we both got to the wine. She said so and so is here to help you if you need suggestions and one of the guys says "no I'm not " . RUDE & immature. Also, cashiers seem to be ALOT slower at this location. So many things to choose from, I love how they expanded the store. It's not so crowded, plenty of room to shop.

The staff at this trader joe's is very nice and the store looks good after the remodel.The reason for the low rating is the product availability. I have been shopping here for years now, before the remodel, and after the availability has not improved at all. Over 50% of the time that I visit this store I have to go to another trader. Joe's because they're out of salmon or they're out of fresh leaf greens like spinach. My family and I love trader Joe's but this location, is a disappointment for sure. read more

This review is about the customer service and not about the product. I would skip this location if you're a person of color. This location and the employees cater more to white customers and go above and beyond for them. I come to this location very often and am very observant. As of late, every time I've come to this location, ONLY the younger employees are nice to all the customers. The older employees are very selective with who they talk to and who they won't even bother and it's VERY obvious who they won't, people of color. They need better training and inclusivity. I can see that they mostly respond to the 2/5 stars and below and I hope this does go noticed. read more

It's a busy Saturday evening, and memorial weekend this weekend. I came in, bought my groceries, got home and realized i dropped one of my AirPods in the parking lot. I work in a loud environment and need to have them daily. I called the store right away and Allen answered. I knew they were busy and it was a long shot but i asked if they could check the parking lot for my AirPod. I was going to drive back regardless to look for it but was worried it would be run over or something before i arrived as i live 20 mins from this store. Allen called me back within minutes to tell me he found it. I'm so grateful he took the time to do that for me. Thank you Allen you're the best!! This is my local Trader Joe's and I am happy it's a good one :). It is on the smaller side, but it makes great use of its space and doesn't lack any items as a result of its tinier real estate. I come here weekly, and like most TJ's, the least busiest times tend to be close to opening/closing. The employees here are always extremely helpful and friendly. Every time I've had to ask a question, I always get back a thoughtful and helpful response. Parking is plentiful as this location is located in a larger shopping complex. Park in the back or farther out next near CVS next-door for the least amount of stress. Sometimes when TJ's is sold out of a particular item (and it does happen occasionally), there is a Sprouts in the same shopping complex which is super convenient if you need to run in there for something that TJ's might not have. read more

I came in for roses for my daughters grave site and on the wall the price for 1 dozen roses is 10.99, but at the cash register it's 14.99. No where is it posted that they have different grades of roses and different prices, it just says 10.99. I spoke to the manager who told me the price was outside. Really? I barely started coming to Trader Joe's about a month ago and now I come on a weekly basis! Everything is so yummy and affordable! You have to try their chili like tortilla chips and also their Greek salad! Those are my favorites! As busy as this store gets, it's always well maintained/ clean and stocked!
