Late-night lifesaver--shoutout to Food 4 Less. I stopped by after a late dinner at GardenWalk and it was exactly what I needed. It was around 10:30-11 PM, and the store was pretty quiet, so I was able to get in and out super fast. I really appreciate that they stay open late because not every grocery store does. Sometimes you just need to grab a few things after a night out, and this made it so convenient--no stress, no crowds. Perfect quick stop, easy parking, and everything I needed in one trip. Honestly I like this grocery store a lot! It has good prices and some products you can't find elsewhere. Proteins like chicken breast may have lower quality compared to other stores but quantity is massive! The drinks sold here are really well priced! Store is clean and staff does the best they can. If anything, I found some customers to be rude to staff out of distress of their own lives and the staff always responding kindly and providing outstanding customer service. But I don't come here for the customers, I come here for the great deals and friendly staff. Felt safe parking my car and it's free parking! This happened my last two visits. One lane open; two lanes open for express. The clerk was rude to me when I asked for a manager. She nodded to where six women were standing around talking. I said which one? She said the one in the blue shirt. They were all wearing blue shirts. Bad customer service. Since they've implemented pick up and delivery, they show no interest in their in-store customers. Back to Ralphs for this girl. I live nearby and shopped here all throughout my life. Their prices are great. They never have employees helping customers. I sadly have to report an incident. I once came here around 6am shopping for groceries when i ran into a employee. He was african american . He started to seek for my attention and flirt with me. I love going to Food 4 Less because of their prices. I mean who doesn't? I have moved and trying to find a Food 4 Less around where I live. I saw that this place was close to where I live and decided to try this place. Upon entering the parking lot I noticed a lot of shady things. People look suspicious. It was kind of scary walking through the parking lot because of the eerie feeling that I was getting. I went inside and got what I needed. When I got in line, the wait was horrible. It felt like I waited 30-40 minutes to finally put the items on the belt. I will not come back here because it was too suspicious for my liking. read more

As a retail employee myself I notice bad costumer service here. Honestly idk if there is something going on with your corporate offices but something needs to change to boost moral because your staff is so rude. Was shopping an hour ago and saw the manager screaming at a third party vendor for doing their assigned task and while the vendor was talking to another customer as well. Never have any problems at Ralph's and other Kroger stores so it's honestly disgusting and embarrassing that poor customer service and lack of quality stocked products is okay just because it's a store marketed mostly for POC Or low income people. Yall are under the same business so should have the same practices throughout!!!! Obviously the overall company atmosphere is shit and you need to do better to support your staff and create a happier environment. Seeing a lot of bad reviews about unkind staff and while I think it's important for us as retail associates to be kinder to vendors and customers... Been coming here for years because it close, but finally got tired of getting annoyed with the many carts being poorly managed, poor organization of items and excessively long lines. They have 10 frickin lanes and at best only have 3 open. I no longer care if I have to pay more and drive farther, I will shop where the store i reasonably managed and people aren't treated like cattle. read more

I love this food 4 Less for the following reason: I was here last night around 11 P.M. This guy came into the store, took a 2 liter soda and drank a 1/3 of it. He then tried to pay for it, but he did not have enough money. The cashier was like wtf and called another cashier over and was like "he does not have enough money, what do I do since he already drank it?" the other cashier look confused AF and said "idk". During this moment, the guy who drank the soda was like "fk this sht and he walked out." Made my night. read more

I know that Kroger doesn't care but I had to write. I went to get some Diet Coke. I was going to buy 10. When I got to the checker (who was a rude middle aged woman) I was told that I would not get the sale price because I didn't have a digital coupon. I am 75 yrs old. I don't know how or care to get a digital coiupon. The manager told me that I could download it. Since I had a Ralph's account, I could use that. All I needed was my password. I got my Rallph's card probably 50yrs ago. Passwords not even heard of then. I tol;d the manager not to worry that I WOULD NEVER BER BACK NOR WOULD I GO TO ANY KROGER STORES. I go here every week for some groceries. I'm not hating on it because I'm giving it 3 stars, but I'm just going to be transparent. I go here for their low prices, but I also know what I'm walking into. Often times their carts aren't in the front and I have to go hunt one down. Also, many of the carts wheels are really stiff, so it makes it awkward to push the darn thing around. The staff are friendly enough and they have plenty of the name brand foods for less. It definitely feels like a warehouse; so nothing spectacular about its interior. And try not to use the restroom here - gross! read more

This place is also a good place to feel depressed. I dont know why but this store makes me sad. Located at Euclid and Katella. This store does offer cheaper deals than other places. However you kind of need a map to navigate through the store. My last visit I bought some Progressive soups along with some teas. Yes it was cheaper. The lines are usually long. You bag your own stuff too. Which can be a pain if you do your weekly shopping here. In a pinch this place is okay. read more

This store has been my go to when I needed something quick- however I have found impressive changes there lately. They have a fantastic selection of organic milk and milk substitute products. Lately I have noticed, they are carrying some higher end egg and bread brands as well as the usual options. I have been impressed with the selection, cleanliness, and always friendly employees. I have found now that Food4less is more and more a place I go to get my basics. If their meat selection and produce end up having more organic options - I may have little need to go to other stores. read more

I've only stopped in here to buy a soda, tea, or some other drink on a couple of occasions. The prices weren't that great for their drinks, but they're nice and cold. Don't buy gift cards from this place, they will steal your money, I bought 4 gift cards on August 15th and they charged me $400 plus $24 activation fee, when I tried to use it, it kept giving me Error, when I called to check the balance it was ZERO, looks like they hacked the card number on their system because when I called visa gift card company they told me the cards were used at target however the cards with me and never lost it, so how this cards got hacked??!!, the only guessing is Food For Less system, very disappointed and never go there. read more

Weird enough I don't remember been in a Food4Less before, they are all over the place, but seems like they didn't catch my eye... until now. I went to buy like 5 things and it took me for ever to find them. Granted, it was an unknown setting but their organization has no logic = / anyway.... Parking is quite easy, since they are on a strip mall with plenty of space. Walking inside is a the place is massive, not super neat but decent enough. Produce prices are good, not as good as the Messy El Super but good enough. About cleaning stuff, just the basic and weird brands. I don't like this grocery store. I've purchased spoiled meat from here (granted they allowed me to return it with no problem) but it was obviously spoiled because the smell was so extreme. So I'm not sure how 'fresh' their meats are. My main beef (no pun intended) with this place is their cashiers!There is a female cashier here named Gloria (she's always wearing the white lipstick) and she's always here and she always has the longest line because she's constantly talking to her friends instead of ringing people up. I've come here many many times and I don't think I've once seen her not busy socializing! She'll walk away without saying anything to the customer and back up the line even more and come back 3 minutes later and act like she never went anywhere. Just now, another co worker came up to her and was getting her lunch from under the register and they kept switching places and never once said anything to the customer like 'hold on' or 'sorry'!! But it kept her from ringing up the person in front of me. She never says anything to the customer but won't shut up when it comes to her friends. It's absolutely ridiculous! I like Food 4 Less quite a lot because Kroger, the same company that owns Ralph's, owns this market. You get great bargains on certain foods and the quality isn't completely sacrificed. However, most of these markets are found in ghetto-er areas, and this one is no exception. But the good thing is it is right next to M&M Donuts. Yum. Here are the pros and cons of one of my favorite joints. PROS: - cheaper prices on most items than other markets, especially the produce and meats - fully stocked brands - opened till 1 AM CONS: - solicitors outside the store - very interesting crowd of customers - feels ghetto If you can get over the ghetto-ness of these markets, you're wallet is in for a real treat. You'll save lots of money on your groceries and won't give up much in quality. Just remember, don't make eye contact with all the people that inhabit this ecosystem. This probably one of the worst food4less I been to. I went here since it the closest one near me. The ambiance is alright since it a typical grocery store. I been going to food4less since I was a kid and it is one of best places for food deals. I stopped after work to pick up ribs and pork cushion before the sales end. I encounter some odds people here's for sure. An anal mom walking around staring people down blocking people ways so that she can get her stuff and random rude peoples everywhere which they have no manners at all. Usually I can careless of people in the store but it got me. Also the cashier lady who didn't bother really assisting me with my coupon discount for my sodas. She said yeah it went through but it didn't. I rather her told me no it not go through and not brush me off so that she can ring up the next person. I don't like liar At all. Very unprofessional! After shopping at Albertsons for years, it seems like I am paying about the same, if not more, for less items. I need to find a new grocery store to shop at.. or at least an alternative when I don't want to drive all the way to Orange. I decided to shop here and see how much savings I can get. The place is relatively clean. It took me some time to find everything that I needed. I was amazed at some of the deals I found! Pretty much everything I normally get at Albertsons was cheaper at Food 4 Less. They pretty much had everything that I needed and I decided to get a few extra items. The final price came to be about what I would have spent at Albertsons. So it looks like I may be shopping more often. The only thing I didn't care for... because it is cheaper, it brings in a different clientele than what I am use to. With the savings I saved, it might be a something I can overlook read more

I have a coupon $1 which is good for any Kotex pads or liners and "not valid on any 14-22 ct liners". I gave Kotex coupon to cashier is Regina R. This food for less has what you required, in regards to shopping, however; the checkout lines are longer than one would care to endure. When asked a store manager (who was what seemed to be flirting with a store employee) if another line can be opened, we were responded with a finger pointing at the unlit cashier number, stating the line is closed. My review is slightly biased since I shop at 3am usually. No lines! Lately I have gone during the normal people time and have never had a problem. I like grocery shopping and I go in with no time rush. I guess its therapeutic? Hah! I know the lay out pretty well and if I can't find something I just bug a worker and theyre usually very friendly. The prices for me are very reasonable, then again I am one person buying food for one person so I'm not buying too much. On average I'll spend about $70 on the basics every three weeks. I eat a lot of pasta so my diet is not as costly haha The fruits and veggies are a hit or miss sometimes but that doesn't bother me since I go to Sam's market market not too far away and get amazing fruits and veggies there. read more
