Holy craft sticks!! So hard to find!!
Julie L.

I'm always a sucker for the "just a buck" stores; Dollar Tree, 99 cents, Viva, etc. Dollar Bell is sort of like the less attractive little brother of Dollar Tree...if that isn't painting a picture for you. Things to avoid: food, most clothes & baby items. Namely because said items look uber dusty/dirty or of poor quality. In their defense, I did pick up a bottle of Heinz garlic chilli (with 2 letter L's) that is a import from China. I'm only giving them a generous 4 stars because they have a crazy selection of popsicle sticks in the craft wall & bbq skewers. I went to great lengths to find the popsicle sticks last time & ended up having to spend an arm & a leg at Michael's. They have multiple sizes as well as color options. As for the bbq skewers, they were mostly too short to bbq with but I see great potential with plating or fruit kabobs. p.s. Absolutely in love with the full size 8.5x11" print outs of the people who stole from this store. Shame on them! Kudos to the store owner(s) for calling them out. They're just trying to make a living.

I love fruity flavor w merlot, cabernet sauvignon so I buy lots of wines w 90, 91, 92, 93 points at Costco but sometimes I find a good point wines here or Trader Joe's. I got 4 bottles of blending w berries, metlot, cabernet sauvignon, syrah, vanilla, and mocha....ummm, fruity, sweet flavor....lovely. And got our new discovery for organic chips called blue corn tortilla chips by Late July. Costco has plain organic multi grain chips by same manufacturer not these blue corn tortilla chips. I found the great products w promo prices. Sometimes promo 6 champagne for the great prices cheaper than the Costco. The meats are great too. My hubby find the deal for beefs and porks. I told him to buy the meats at Costco but he said, I had a great promo deal cheaper, better meats than the Costco. He doesn't think we paid for $130 membership fee a year. Well organized, clean, fresh, friendly service at the Deli for Mac n Cheese, potato salad, fried chicken. My hubby and I were happy to buy 4 Red wine bottles w 90 points, blue corn tortilla chips, and beers. Great market w great location on the Ball near Cypress college, The cashiers are always friendly. That is why we go to the Stater Bros so often.

I didn't realize they now have this full-size grocery store as back in the day, I thought Northgate Market was just a small corner market in Hawaiian Gardens. As I mentioned in my review of Superior Grocers located down the street on Knott avenue, I was in the market for authentic and exotic meats for our taco spread for Super Bowl. Though they did not have what I was looking for at the Butcher Counter, they did offer the many cuts of beef sections I was looking for in the refrigerated meat section that are pre packed. I found my Tripas, and beef cheeks, so I was able to complete my menu and they had other beef and pork parts that I was not even sure of what they were. I think I found my new go to Mexican Grocery store. Hopefully in the future, I can refer to the butcher how to find ingredients for other Mexican inspired exotic tacos. For instance Cabeza. If you know how to prepare or what I need to ask for to make Cabeza tacos, feel free to message me. I can't wait for superbowl Sunday, because I know these tacos will be . I hope to add photos of our spread.

There were pastries close to the first cash registers for sale. People were doing their thing in the bakery area, from where I can see. I came for a gift card and was able to buy one at one of their express lanes. Took about 5 minutes. Staff was nice and friendly. Was able to get what I needed. Would probably be back if I was in the area and needed some pastries or groceries.

When I walked in, I saw that the entrance/exit doors had gates to prevent shoplifting. I can't believe how much this place has changed over the years. It honestly makes me feel like this was the first time being here. As for renewing my registration and license tag, this was my first time doing this and I had to ask the security lady if she could help me, and she happily did. After I had some difficulties, I started screaming like Malcolm from Haunted House 2 when his believed dog got crushed by a heavy suitcase, and he dramatically tried to revive her. That's what my scream sounded like when I was frustrated, except I didn't revive a mushed dog and my scream wasn't that loud. But the security lady was caring and kind, and she helped me out. Within minutes, I was able to figure out how to use the kiosk without my dad having to do all the work for me. Eventually, I was able to get my new registration and a new license tag in the process. I thanked her.

It has a better selection than other Ralph's probably cause Anaheim is really diverse. You can find all the essentials and more. Store is clean and usually safe. Big parking lot where you can secure your car for free. Lately, it is really hard to find help with the flowers section. It's not staff's fault. I blame late stage capitalism.
