Now that the Rite Aid next door closed up, Ralph's took the space & it became aa attractive, bigger market with additional areas such as a specialty cheese department, perfect for your next charcuterie board. Fancy! I enjoyed the Starbucks located near the flowers & produce. My barista was very nice. She was knowledgeable & made a mean Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha with Pistachio Cold Foam. It tasted like a liquid candy bar! Dangerous! I usually find there are enough opened check-out stations & nice employees are available on the floor. I also appreciate the special markdowns on various items throughout the store.. The big parking lot can get pretty packed but you will find a spot. One plus is if you park far from the entrance you can walk off some of that Dubai Coffee. read more

I live less than a half mile away and shop here often. I came around 11pm on 5/30 to get number balloons for my son's 12th birthday. They are already pre filled in the card aisle and the '2' was about half deflated, but I was stil going to buy it knowing the balloon area was closed because it was my fault for waiting all day to do it! It would just have to do. I was not going to ask anyone to attempt to fill it more, but when I went through the line Jeff saw it was deflated and took it to the area to add more helium. It looked perfect and I was so grateful that he offered to do that so late at night. I have gone through his line many times over the years and he has always been kind and helpful! I'm actually so surprised with the reviews! Have been coming here for years now and with the recent renovation it's actually so nice!! You can get quality food for a great price. The service is always great, the employees are always so nice and helpful. Weekends are always so busy here especially Sunday's, so if you can shop here during the week. read more

I know times are tough, but you need at least one cashier to be present at all times, you can't just rely on self checkout. It's especially frustrating when you have at least 15 items to checkout (with zero checkout lanes open to boot) that includes 5 packs of 500 napkins each and decide not to bag them since the napkin packs are large enough. It's even worse when you get blamed as a dasher/instacart shopper for not bagging the napkins because they get dirty. I'm glad I don't live near this store tbh. read more

On 10/20/25, I decided to stand in line versus go to the self-service checkout, as I had a lot of stuff. After paying the cashier, I noticed I was charged twice for coffee when I only brought one. I had wait for the cashier to finish with the current customer. She then gave me $7.99 in cash for the extra charge of coffee. I looked at my receipt more closely and noticed she charged me twice for cucumbers. Again, I had to wait for her to finish with her current customer. She gave me $2.99 cash. She made no adjustments to my receipt and did not apologize for the inconvenience or her mistake. Do they want us to use self-service? Previously, the bagger put my bread at the bottom and completely crushed it. Ralph's need to train their employees better. Service use to be much better. I also feel the staff is stretched thin. Both experiences were not good and need improvement. Inflation is so high currently and government workers are currently on furlough. We cannot afford this stupidity. It was good I double checked my receipt. According to the receipt the cashier was Monica Delgadill. Money does not grow on trees. read more

I used to shop at this Ralphs all the time when I lived here. They need better management and improvement on their customer service. Workers are kind of rude here and don't wanna do their jobs. But i stop here once in awhile for something small if I am in the area. They have pumped up their security. Food and deli isles are still good. The Ralph's produce and deli foods in Cypress leave MUCH to be desired. I usually love the Buffalo Chicken Salad in the deli. However, more times than not, they don't shred the chicken. It's in huge lumps like they just don't care. See picture attached. I've been there before when there were flies flying around the fruit. Their produce is usually sub par. It's really sad, you go to the Ralph's in Seal Beach and it's like walking into a fresh Farmer's market. It makes one think, is there a difference in people who go to the Cypress Ralph's, vs. Seal Beach? OF COURSE NOT! So why is our local market so different than the one where people with higher incomes are a lot more likely to buy groceries???!! I do have to say, however, that the PEOPLE who work in the Cypress Ralph's are AMAZING ALL THE TIME. You get nothing but smiles and good manners. They all try to accommodate one's needs. This review is specific to the pickup service offered at this location. In a word, it is terrible. I have ordered perhaps 10 times, from small orders to larger orders and have had my order be significantly delayed (next day) at least 3 times, and slightly delayed (several hours after it was promised) twice. I stopped using it entirely and switched to Vons but since it is so close to my house, I tried again last night. Order was delayed twice (from 5:00 until gratitude that wasn't going to be picking it up last night at all). I went just now, order was completely absent from my app, but was finally found using my name. IMHO this store should stop offering this service or the manager should be replaced and the team staffed accordingly. Never again. read more

The store was clean. The fruit look fresh. They have like the best sushi bar I've ever seen. Dynamic Asians working there rolling out the real sushi. The customer service was good everyone was friendly even the people in the store were friendly Go Ralph's. My customer service was quick I got smiles and assistance down every aisle. I don't know whose decision it was to remodel this location, whether it was corporate or on a store-level, but they decided to change the lighting and now it's super bright, cool-toned, and straight up uncomfortable. Now it feels like a hospital when before it used to be cozier. I likely won't be returning to this location since the remodel makes it feel soulless and stripped of the personality it used to have. read more

Whoever decided it would be a good idea to do entire store renovations that cut off important sections such as meat and dairy during business hours should be fired. Completely blocks off half the store and is a grand inconvenience to have to weave around unattended painting areas and holes in the floor to shop for your basic items. read more

Came here for the first time trying to see if the prices are actually "low". They are not. After getting a couple things I saw only two cashier lines open with really long lines. Versus self checkout had about 6 machines open. I only had 8 items so I figured why not. No employee was there previously until I pulled in and started scanning my items. This white elder lady with glasses decides to hover over me to make sure I am scanning every single item I have. Why didn't she hover over the other person who had 20 + items??? At that moment I already knew the deal on why she chose to stand behind me only so I proceeded to scan. The machines are very slow and kept saying that I didn't place my item on the bagging station to continue scanning so she quickly scanned her ID and clicked on a video recording to make sure she saw me scan the item!!!!!!! HOW WEIRD IS THAT! She really thought I was trying to steal something. I waited till she finished watching the video play 4 times!!! For her to agree and click "already scanned". At this point more customers are coming to use self checkout and she isn't watching them. I was buying some popcorn chicken separately so I paid for everything I had already scanned. UNTIL, she grabs my item from my cart and tries scanning it to my previous order! Telling me "mam you forgot this". I immediately stopped her. now I've lose my temper and told her to back up. There was no need to grab something when I wasn't even done or had walked away! Very rude behavior and unacceptable! If she cared to have asked I would've told her but she took that upon herself. After my receipt prints for the popcorn chicken she had the nerve to get in my face and tell me "have a nice day". I definitely shoulder shoved her as she doesn't seem to know personal space and was definitely picking on only me! Never again am I coming here if employees like that are around. She also didn't have a name tag but finding a white, elder with brownish gray hair and glasses shouldn't be so hard. read more

This one star is for the lady who works are the bakery section. I asked for chicken tenders. You can clearly see that some pieces are big and some are small or even thin. I asked for 10 pieces and asked that she give me the bigger pieces. She tells me they are all the same size. They are not. She didn't even bother getting the bigger pieces and had an attitude. My 10 piece looks like 1 really good piece and 9 twig looking chicken tenders. Horrible service. She must hate her job. Bad customer service. Rude. Unhelpful. Super disappointed in my local store. Been shopping here for years, and was able to find a really good selection of allergy, safe food items. But over the last few months, there have been less and less, with the space is being filled with just more of the same traditional brands. Used to be able to get plant based cream cheese, pudding, and gelato. All gone. Used to be able to purchase a gluten-free version of French fried onion pieces, like those you use in green bean casserole, but now there are four different brands of the traditional kind with virtually the same ingredient list. Who needs that many of the same thing? It's not like there isn't a market for people like me, otherwise stores like Whole Foods and sprouts wouldn't be doing such a gangbusters business. I have nothing against homeless people. I feel sad for them. But, since my own life is filled with problems ranging from a bank's lawsuit and my parents almost dying, I feel that a grocery store should not allow homeless people or the same homeless person (no matter how sweet they are or how many of the employees like talking to them) to be able to practically live outside the door, because we are spending our butts off in a corporate store and, now there's a bunch of security guards... probably called in for this particular reason... yet the problem still persists, and Ralph's should cater more to the customers, their customers, then people making those customers feel uncomfortable (or even feel sorry) when entering and exiting... As for the employees they're a lot better than before, the young ones, nice to me and THAT aspect has been a change for the better because six years ago the store was like a rude fraternity. read more

I've been coming to this location since I moved to Cypress in 2002. The flower department and the woman in charge is awesome! She's always friendly and one can tell she loves her job. The other employee, one in particular is always a grouch. She knows who she is because she's always very curt and almost rude to customers- especially when she's working the self-checkout. I cringe if I need help because she always makes me feel so incompetent when/if I need help. I'm done. Now that Ralph's no longer carry my dog ice cream, off to Stater Bros I go. Not very happy! Again, another error with my child's birthday cake. It read Johnathan as supposed to Jonathan previously it's was Jonathon so this wasn't a first time mistake with this bakery. Not only was his name incorrect but after they attempted to fix it, it looks bad (see picture) and we requested cursive writing. This looks like a beginner project and something I could of probably done myself and saved the $35. I will not be going there again for cake unfortunately.
