This Ralph's has very narrow aisles plus extra displays everywhere that make it even more difficult to get through. But I have to say, they had SO MANY flower bouquets and arrangements!! More than I've ever seen in a grocery store. Definitely come here to get flowers. Maybe it's just for Moms day weekend but it is quite impressive. We found a really nice rose arrangement in a pretty vase for only $29.99. read more

0 STARS -- EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A MANAGER I have lived next door to this Ralphs and have been a customer for approximately five years. This store is literally right next door to my home, and for years I regularly patronized this location without having any significant issues--until dealing with a manager named Cisco. I had an incident with Cisco last year where I felt he unnecessarily involved himself in a conversation I was having with another customer and escalated the situation. I made complaints about that incident previously. Since then, I have largely avoided this store because I do not want to have any interaction with him. It is unfortunate that a store located right next to my home has become a place I feel uncomfortable shopping because of one employee. Tonight, I went into the store simply to purchase my items and leave. I noticed the self-checkout area was not open as it normally has been at that time. Another employee was trying to assist me and went to ask whether the self-checkout could be opened. When the employee came back and said it could not be opened, Cisco came over. I explained that I was simply trying to check myself out and specifically asked him, politely, if he could open the self-checkout. I even acknowledged that we have had issues in the past and that I was trying to avoid any interaction with him. Instead of simply responding professionally, he focused on the fact that I had said "please," repeating it back to me in a way that I perceived as mocking and antagonistic. I told him that I had already asked politely. His response was essentially that he was not going to do it. At that point, this was no longer about whether a self-checkout was available. It was about how a manager chose to interact with a customer. I was attempting to avoid confrontation and simply make my purchase. I should not have to feel like I am being antagonized by a manager when I am trying to shop at a store I have patronized for approximately five years. When I left the store, security and police became involved. This was extremely upsetting and completely unnecessary from my perspective. Ralphs needs to seriously address what is happening at this location. A manager is supposed to de-escalate situations, provide professional customer service, and represent the company appropriately--not make an already uncomfortable customer interaction worse. I have already made complaints about my experiences with Cisco, so this is not the first time I have raised concerns. The fact that I have continued to encounter the same type of behavior is extremely disappointing. This is bigger than simply saying, "I don't like this employee." Customers should be treated with professionalism and respect regardless of whether an employee personally likes them. A manager should be held to an even higher standard. Ralphs: please investigate this situation, review the conduct of this manager, and take appropriate corrective action. At this point, I do not believe Cisco should continue serving in a customer-facing management position. I am asking Ralphs to seriously consider removing him from this location and/or taking whatever employment action is appropriate based on the investigation. I have been a paying customer of this store for approximately five years. I should not have to avoid a store next door to my own home because of one manager's conduct. UPDATE, I called back to get everybody's names in order to bust them for collectively all sitting in the front having conversations digging around and not doing their jobs while the guys in the back actually do their jobs and the fellow that answered tried to give me a bullshit story about the UPC not matching with beef when I have the actual picture attached I told him I wasn't interested in hearing his nonsense story I just wanted to report everybody to corporate that they have an entire team that is not interested in running a grocery store. The community deserves better I just had a baffling experience where I came late tonight to look for a beef tallow and none of your employees knew what it was so I had to ask three people I finally found someone the grocery section which was prominently advertised at 11:99 on sale from 1499 and there was two left I decided to buy two of them and they both rang up at 1499 and so when I told the rude blonde lady that it was on sale she walked me back to the butcher section and I have attached the image where it says 1199 but she said it was her policy to only discount one of them if there was a mismatch but there's no mismatch because it was just a failure to update the thing anyway they were completely rude management was rude the security guard was rude everybody was super ab absolutely totally unnecessarily rude as well as incompetent I cannot believe you met people like this have jobs at your store it's bringing the entire neighborhood down I was completely reasonable and nice and polite and was not given the opportunity to buy some stupid goddamn beef tallow because everybody was busy having private conversations and figuring out where they wanted to go instead of doing their jobs and running a grocery store. Very nice Ralphs! They had some different items that i dont have in my local one due to the area so that was cool to see. I was able to get everything i needed. The aisles are SUPER small though, like you cant even stand 2 people shoulder to shoulder with no carts without touching, so that was annoying. Great bakery/deli section. Easy parking too. The cashiers and everyone seemed friendly but my mom was irritated that most of the produce bags dispensers were out even though employees were in the area working with the produce. I've been a loyal Kroger/Ralphs shopper for over 2.5 years, and I absolutely love the marina location in Long Beach (90803) -- it's always clean, professional, and well-run. The staff there are friendly, the managers care, and the Starbucks team is always on point. Unfortunately, the Cerritos location is the complete opposite. From the very first time I walked in, I noticed how unprofessional the environment was. Two employees in the produce section (one wearing a Starbucks apron) were loudly talking about how one of them thought a customer was attractive -- right in front of me while I was shopping. They didn't even pause or move out of the way. Then, when I went to the butcher counter, there was nobody there for over 15 minutes. When someone finally showed up, he said he was "glad I was taking the rest of the shrimp so he didn't have to clean it up." Not only was that a weird thing to say to a customer, but it made me wonder how long that seafood had been sitting there. My most recent visit on October 3rd sealed the deal -- I won't be back. The cashier and other employees were yelling and laughing across aisles like it was a playground. As I was leaving after self-checkout, two employees were literally roughhousing near the exit, blocking the walkway. I had to walk around them just to get out. It honestly feels like there's no management here at all. The store is chaotic, immature, and totally unprofessional. I've spent thousands of dollars at Ralphs over the years, but this specific location is not up to Kroger's standards. It's a shame, because I really love the company -- just not this store. As someone who manages operations myself, I know what professionalism looks like, and this isn't it. The Cerritos location seriously needs better leadership, training, and accountability. Until then, I'll keep driving to Long Beach to shop where customers and employees are treated with respect. 1 star. Ordered a birthday cake 3 days in advance to pick up, I wanted a customized tres leches cake, which the worker said that the cake wouldn't be ready by then and that they only have premade ones available. So I settled for the premade one and just wanted to have writing on cake. I set to pick up the cake at 7pm but came an hour early (this was my fault, I assumed it would be ready since it was a premade cake and all I requested was writing on it), and the employee said it wasn't ready yet and it will take 15-20min to be ready. So I waited 30 minutes (to give them extra time) and went back in and it still wasn't ready... Then the employee brought the cake to another worker in the self checkout line and had her write on the cake. I mean I get that I came early but this whole experience threw me off.. Went in this Ralph's, to get a money order and do a little shopping, the customer Service wasn't great at all, I was trying to chose flowers for my Mothers birthday in the floral section, which had two employees working there, for what.? I don't know , I stood looking for a nice boutique of flowers for at least 15 to 20 mins, not one Lady acknowledge that I was there, nor did they ask if I needed help, which I did, both where just standing there mainly talking, to each other the whole time. Also when I went to checkout, I ask for a money order, after ringing my items the cashier made me wait until she ring every person in line, even those who walked up later before she printed my money order, then she had the nerve to apologize, I wanted to tell her that she wouldn't have to apologize if she'd did the right thing. And by the way, I ended up going to stater brothers for the flowers, they had excellent customer service plus it was cheaper, so thanks to the ladies at Ralph's who don't acknowledge customers, I saved money by going somewhere else. read more

As a new resident to the Safe City of Cerritos I incurred a typical problematic system regarding discrimination in 2026, I have visited this store 3 times and was not harassed until April 14, 2026 at approximately 18:31 pm by a cashier name Daisy C was humiliated while 2 coworkers tried to distract me from observing my apparel and dark skin and added money to my account the first time was a pleasant transaction but this day destroyed community and individual discrimination and she checked my bills 4 times as if I had monopoly money not once but 3 times minus counting in front of me and went to customer service held up other customers from pursuing day to day purchases to see if my bills was real without using a marker or other utility to verify just two Twenty dollars bills and a 5 dollar bill and 5 ones like really I can understand 100 dollar bills but this was over exaggeration and completely embarrassing to consumer and cashier and exceeded reasonable time for a simple transaction. read more

12/24/22 I was hoping beyond hope that I will find all the gift cards that I needed at this location. I went in and it was crazy crazy busy and I am not familiar with this Ralph's location so I didn't know where gift cards were. I found an employee and I asked him as he directed me promptly to where is the aisle of gift cards were. Lo & Behold! Success!! Got Denny's for mom & Dad, Macy's for my auntie Grace, Target for brother in law & Chick-Fila for my nephew. I'm super glad that I was able to kill 4 birds with one stone (what a shot!!! LOL). Checkout was pretty expedient although it looked hella busy here. Thankfully they've got almost all the registers open & some self checkouts. All in all I was pretty happy with this visit. The only negative is not much variety for their produce. Price-wise it's pretty much like Vons, Pavilions or Albertsons. Staff are friendly & helpful. I do prefer the one on Del Amo though, maybe because I'm more familiar with their location. I stopped by here coz Stirred coffee shop is in the same plaza so this was convenient. I wanted to compliment GUS at Cerritos Ralph's. He's like a Swiss Army Knife of versatility at that store, whether he's working at Starbucks, the self checkout lane or behind the register. Today, he was working the self checkout lane and it was very busy, but he still had the awareness to notice that the line at the only register open was stacking up. That's when he motioned me out of the line, escorted me past a his completely full self checkout stand and processed my transaction himself at his station. I would like to know if Ralph's management recognizes the hustle, awareness and efficiency that Gus constantly gives them, so please respond to this message and let me know. We ordered four sheet cakes for our upcoming company event from Ralph's Cerritos. Leslie helped us with our order and went above and beyond at every step of the way. She called me personally to coordinate the decorations to make sure the cakes came out the way we wanted knowing that it was such a large order. We ended up purchasing construction toys to add to the cake and Leslie decorated it to match. They came out fabulous and the cakes were delicious. Very rude employees that work here. You can hear them cursing while customers are walking around. Months ago I overheard some employees making fun of customers. And the lady by the self checkout she would be on her phone and wouldn't say anything to me while she would acknowledge other customers. I had once stopped at this Ralphs when i lived in Los Alimitos back in the day. They are a good location as well. I visit this Ralphs when visiting my family in Lakewood. I came here not long ago to grab some items for a party, and the same good thing. They have a fresh Deli area here. It is located in a good shopping center. Parking can be hectic. Produce area is clean, and fresh fruits and veggies are good. Great service and friendly employees. The deli cooked food is much fresher here. Feels good to visit again. read more

Ralphs is a decent grocery store for most things. But please BEWARE about purchasing Visa gift cards here. It's an absolute pain if you lose the PIN number which is on the packaging. Even if you're the original purchaser and have the receipt, Ralphs management, Kroger customer service, and Visa customer service is TERRIBLE. They're trained to say the same thing while wasting your time.. claiming someone at a different number will help you but nobody does. They say the card is registered to someone else even when the card has never been registered. Then they refuse to help any further. Nothing but dead ends. If you ask me, this is criminal. We're out $100 for a product we can even use. read more

Prices are too high, food is arranged in a way that's not easily accessible to short people. This store caters to a lot of Asian clientele who are short. For instance, the 2L sodas are on the top shelf and impossible for someone who's 5 feet tall to reach it creating a safety hazard. When I told the workers they rolled their eyes and said they'll tell corporate about it. When I was ready to checked out, the normal check out lines were all closed. As a result, I was among a large group of customers standing in line at the self check out while we witnessed the Ralph's employees shooting the breeze. Is this what we're paying for? Much better selection than my local Ralph's. I drive here all the way from Anaheim (5fwy & Euclid) even though there are closer locations. Why does everything in Anaheim suck so much? I don't know. These are some of the things I get here that aren't available at other locations: - Jeni's Ice Cream (Brambleberry crisp $$$ but worth every penny, lifechanging) - Kashi organic blueberry crisp cereal (why dont other stores have this??) - LaBrea fresh-baked Kalamata Olive bread (never in stock at other stores) - Merlot Bella Vitano cheese (not carried in anaheim) - Guayaki yerba mate tea They also manage to keep things in stock much better.. I tend to prefer buying groceries late at night when the stores are empty and there's no traffic (this isn't close to my house.) There's always a risk of making the trip, only to find they're sold out of what you came for, but I've only had that problem here once of twice. This Ralphs is 5 minutes away from a good Sprouts location and a Trader Joes, so if you live in a so-called food desert, it'll be much worth your while to come here and hit all 3 at once. read more

Went to this store early this morning to restock our food after having been on vacation. As others have noted, the aisles were quite crowded with boxes and stock people putting things on the shelves so it was difficult to maneuver the cart. I found all the items I was looking for, and had a very full cart. When I got to the front to pay, there were NO cashiers at all. I asked the employee at the self checkout area about the cashiers and she proceeded to tell me that there weren't any and I had to use the self checkout. Now, I don't mind using self checkout if I have a few items, even up to 20 or so, but I had a FULL cart!! There wasn't enough room to put all the groceries I had scanned and bagged, while I was still checking out! I had to put bags of groceries on the floor! I was so angry, and I'm very disappointed. Upgrading to 5 stars for Linda in the floral dept. She has so much innate talent for arranging flowers and she is so patient and kind. The flowers are super fresh. I pick many different bunches and Linda arranges them for me beautifully. These arrangements would be triple the price at a standard florist. The flowers lasted for almost 3 weeks!! I was hesitating about leaving a review because I don't want the secret to get out, but everyone needs some beautiful floral arrangements, especially in 2020. read more

This is my favorite Ralph's. I wish it was closer to me but I still make the drive out to this location. It's THE most diverse in terms of grocery offerings. I love to cook internationally, making foods such as Chinese, Korean, Indian, Mediterranean, Mexican etc... I can find a lot of ingredients here and sometimes the items are cheaper than what I would find at the ethnic stores themselves! So if I hadn't had a chance to buy the item at the ethnic stores, I can usually find it here. Ralph's always has great deals and the staff here are always friendly and helpful. read more

This review is based mainly off customer service. Grocery shopping and overall store appearance and cleanliness is good. The store itself is well maintained and stocked well. It's huge and overall nice to shop at. What happened to me here recently (09/14/2022) was embarrassing and not handled well at all. I finished buying my groceries and decided to purchase a 5 dollar lottery scratcher. I put the money in and selected the ticket but no ticket came out even though the machine stated all credits used, please receive your scratcher at the bottom of machine. This is something I do lots of times at different machines, never any issues. On this visit, no ticket was dispensed even though I heard the ticket drop, or something going on in the machine itself. I contacted the store clerk to let them know what happened. I was met with attitude and overall stares as if I was being dishonest. A shopper behind me witnessed the whole thing and even told the clerk that I had indeed put money in. She opened the machine, all the while not talking to me or asking me questions, she just spoke to another employee saying that nothing was wrong with the machine, etc. I got no eye contact, nobody spoke to me or indicated any resolution. After a few minutes the clerk simply walked away, basically calling me a liar. Why would I lie about 5 dollars? All she had to do was look at her surveillance cameras. At this point im blocking the path where shoppers walked and decided to call it a 5 dollar loss, I feel cheated though and didn't appreciate how this was handled. I thought I would pay the MUCH higher prices than Walmart to have a better shopping experience. MISTAKE! There were huge empty spaces on some of their shelves with few brand choices of many items. There was a time when one could know that shopping at Ralph's would be at least a decent experience, but no more. As I made my way to the checkout line, I realized that Ralph's had actually sunk LOWER than Walmart! There was ONE, yes ONE checker and SIX self-checkout stations. I needed some batteries, which were locked in a case. It took almost 15 minutes to finally get somebody with a lofty enough position to have a key to come help. The checker said I could step aside and wait for the batteries and then another employee would help me out at a self-checkout station. I told her, "I'll wait here"! Give me a break! Honestly this is my Ralph's and I will still continue to shop here but they got some new people and one of the baggers needs to be retrained or something.. Its common sense that delicate items like fruit and veggies should be packaged gently.. I happened to glance in one of the bags and noticed my grapes were being squished by a BOX of canned cat food!! Also eggs were under boxed items and an olive oil bottle.. I removed prior to placing into my car but when I got home and was putting the groceries away I noticed my pears UNDER 2 half gallons of MILK!! All 3 pears are badly bruised and one was ripped open.. Also, when I asked for the fruit to be separate after I noticed this was happening I got a side eyed stare like "okay lady" Customer service/common sense needs to be re-instilled into some of these workers.. read more

I have come here on a few occasions over the past year and have been pleasantly surprised. they have a really beautiful selection of flower/balloons (which is what I frequent here often) and a great bakery selection! BALLOONS: -small mylar balloon - $4.99 - lasted over two weeks -regular colored balloons $0.99 - lasted for a day PROS: -solid collection of balloons for different occasions -really beautiful flower arrangements -bakery is a good selection and on occasion I see half off bakery prices and some full priced for same goods (if I'm going to eat them within the next few days then what a steal for half off!) -they have a lot of open self checkout -starbucks inside -clean available to use bathrooms -easy parking CONS: -on multiple occasions it has been difficult to find service for the balloon station, but staff around are nice and try to be helpful and find staff members to help but sometimes it takes some time OVERALL: great location to stop by for your basic needs! read more
