As a neighborhood grocery stores go, AF doesn't carry all the items we usually need and the price points IMHO are higher. Additionally, I've noticed that food grocery items' expiry dates are usually much shorter than if I'd purchased the same products at a standard grocery store or even Target/Walmart. So check those expiry dates before you buy that tub of sour cream etc. I've even seen a can of Spam on the shelf that was already expired. Product shelf-life aside, AF is awfully convenient for bringing Amazon returns. They usually provide coupons for in store use when you return or pick up an ordered item here. I generally only grocery shop here when having those coupons to use, otherwise it's too pricey. Employees are helpful when you can find one on the floor. Store is usually nice and clean. Parking is decent unless it's a Fri or weekend night and guests going to Lucille's park in the AF lot. read more

What a waste of time. I noticed Athletic Brewing Co. Upside Dawn Golden non-alcoholic brew was on sale in the Amazon app, so I thought I'd just swing by to purchase a six-pack. This was approximately 9:30 am. Noticing it was regular price on the refrigerated shelf, I let the cashier know about the sale price on the app. She had a manager inform me the sale price is via pickup only through the app. So, I quickly ordered the Upside Dawn Golden non-alcoholic brew on the app. I asked the manager if my order can be completed ASAP by having an order picker grab it right quick & place it at Pickup, since I was there, already. I was told no, and I would have to wait for pickup window, starting at 11 am. In my mind, I already envisioned what would play out. Not wanting to wait an hour and a half or longer, I would come back later on in the day. As soon as I get into my car and drive off, my order would be ready. And, sure enough, that's what happened. Backing up from the parking spot, I received a text saying an associate is working my order. And, much to my chagrin, as I was pulling out of the parking lot, I received another text stating my order was ready. It could've been handled so much better if the manager handled things the way I requested. Not wanting to deal with the manager & staff, I decided to swing by later that night. All the manager had to do was tell the order picker to fulfill my order. I would've went to the order picker, myself, had I been notified as to which associate was taking care of pickup orders. All in all, things could have been dealt with in a more timely & efficient manner, if the situation was dealt with more appropriately. read more

I really like this grocery store. It is very clean and well organized. I've is not a hive store, but definitely a pretty good size. The produce all looked really good, and there was a good selection. They sell the Whole Foods Market brand, along with other name brands. They also have an Amazon brand, and it comes with a bonus: if you have Amazon Prime, all Amazon products are 10 percent off. The best party of this place is the hot foods. There is a long salad/prepared food bar. There is also a pizza counter for slices or whole pizzas. What a great place to have on your way home from work! The person at check out was friendly, as was someone we talked to as he stocked the shelves. I also made a conscious effort to compare some prices of random items to the prices at Walmart, which was my next stop of the day. Prices were about the same or, in some cases, even less than Walmart. I would seriously consider doing all my shopping here. read more

I have to say that I enjoy coming to Amazon Fresh. I don't take advantage of their digitized carts as they're too fancy for me; however, as an Amazon prime member, I like that they often have generous digital coupons/promotions that stack with in-store deals. I've had $10 off $50 deals a few times. I also like that I can come here for returns for my Amazon purchases. For making returns here, they often incentivize it with a promotional coupon like I mentioned above. This allows me to get some nice value with my purchases here. I don't come here for all of my needs. I don't find great value with the fruits/veggies and I often get needs for Asian ingredients at specialized groceries like H-Mart, Mitsuwa, and 99 ranch. Then I can get trendy/niche food trends at places like Trader Joes. And I like meats at butchers and places like Wild Fork. Nevertheless, you can find me getting meat and veggies here if there's a generous promotion. If you're listening, Amazon, please feel free to draw me in with your generous promotions. This Amazon Fresh store is located in Cerritos, and conveniently off the freeway, with large parking lot dedicated to the grocery store. It's very spacious and bright inside, generally clean. However, they have been out of regular plastic bags, but use bunch of floral sheets instead. Not all staff here are helpful, some don't know even know where to find certain items and pointed out the wrong direction. Their cashiers are supposed to close after 9pm, as I was told after that only self service is available for checkout, but I saw one cashier helped another group of customers to check out after their so-called cutoff time, and I don't like the inconsistency of their policy and selective service. read more

I stopped in last week do some grocery shopping while in the area. They closed my local Amazon Fresh, so this is now the closest, but apparently they're closing this one too. The parking for this store is easy and plentiful. I walked in and was immediately greeted by staff at the door. The store was well stocked and clean. I was able to locate what I needed, and their prices were significantly better than the Ralph's I went to the week before. While shopping, I was asked by at least 3 different employees if I was finding everything okay and if I needed help locating anything. All of the employees I interacted with were so nice and helpful. I had a great experience shopping here, and I will miss coming here. read more

I don't com here to do my usual shopping but I do come here often to do my amazon returns. The parking lot is pretty big but does share the same lot as other business and restaurants the most popular being Lucille's so just be aware that sometimes people going to those places do park on the Amazon Fresh side. The store always looks clean and is pretty spacious. They also have a fresh food area that does look delicious, although I have not tasted any of it before. I did see a sign listing some weekly deals on the food so I will try them one day. In the back left side of the store is where they do the amazon returns. Most of the time it is pretty easy. They scan your QR code take your package and you are on your way. The money is back in your account usually in less then 24 hours. This last time the counter was not open for some reason and everyone has to use the self service kiosk. It was pretty simple but did require a few more steps and since there was only one kiosk the line was backed up. It was also a long wait. When waiting to use the kiosk I did see someone go up to the counter and a worker was able to help with the pickup so I'm not sure why they were making people use the kiosk instead of doing it the traditionally way. As long as this store is here I will keep coming back to do my Amazon returns. read more

On a Saturday morning in early May, my family and I checked out the new location (former toys r us). Plenty of parking outside. Inside was spacious with clean and well stocked aisles. They had several markdown on ground beef, salmon. Slices of ham. There was self check out and regular cashier lines. We spent $50 to get $10 coupon. The tables area was huge inside and outside. We stayed in the tables area for 1hr to enjoy free AC. Nice market in the area. read more

I always come here to return Amazon items, but I've never shopped. I was slightly intimidated by how high-tech it looked to shop. But on this day, I decided to give it a try. The employees were friendly and spent time giving me a tutorial on how to log in and how to shop using their high-tech shopping cart, it was pretty easy. The place is always clean and very well organized. The prices were pretty competitive on some items, but not all. I also like that they have a food bar where customers can enjoy a quick lunch. My overall experience was great, and the checkout process was quick and easy. You do not need to use the high-tech shopping cart; you can pay with other methods. I will come back again. read more

We stocked up a lot of ground beef a couple weeks ago because their 3 pack ground beef was on sale for $2.50/lb! That's such a great deal. Make it a habit to check the grocery section on the Amazon app to see what deals they have. Not every location has the same deals. read more

I usually frequent shopping here for their sale items such as grapes or fish. I have also tried their hot food items and will say it's pretty decent considering the affordable prices. Pro tip: come at 6:30pm and the hot foods are half off! Aside from that, this is a very convenient location to do your Amazon returns. read more

7/17/23 Highly tempting.....$3.49 per box (3 ice cream bars per box). Haagen Dazs Hubby & I were just walking around the area by the Los Cerritos mall-something I've never even done in my youth (at Cerritos anyway) after our dinner at Umaya. To cool off, passed by Amazon Fresh to check out "stuff". I was looking for pomegranate arils-none. I ended up getting Gatorade Zero. I normally don't drink it but lately hubby has been drinking it up-which is usually 2 for $5 (28 oz). Here it's 8 for $8.79 (20 oz). I checked out the traditional way. I went by towards the rear of the store by the common areas (customers & staff can eat their lunch at tables/chairs. There's a microwave there also & napkin dispensers. I was looking for the restrooms & followed someone what looked to be the RR-only to find it's probably the employee lounge/room. So I asked him & he flatly said "Restrooms outside!" pointing in some direction. He looked annoyed & just quickly went inside w/o offering anything else. How unfriendly was he!? This is is one staff member who needs lessons in customer service. One more thing to remind me not to return here unless I'm desperate. It takes one negative interaction to knock off a star or two, sadly. Overall and in general, the staff here are not the stellar customer service pillars. I recently went here to return an online Amazon order. I frequently use this location whenever there's something I need to return here that I've purchased via their website. The service is always prompt and fast, never had to wait behind more than one person. There's an employee that greets you at the entrance that can explain how everything works, but otherwise if you're here for a return will point you to the back so you can skip having to check-in with your Amazon account. They have hot and cold food options that you can buy in-store that I've never tried myself, but have always wanted to. It looks decent enough, but there are so many good restaurants in the surrounding area I've never bothered to come try the food inside of the store. Perhaps in a future visit. I've only come to this store specifically to purchase items twice in the past. On one visit I purchase cilantro and onions, and on another cans of tomato sauce. Both times it was just convenient for me to as I was already at the store to make a return as well. I don't come out of my way to shop here as the prices are not at all competitive with my local supermarkets. It's often higher priced, so I avoid coming here for my grocery shopping. There was nobody behind the counter to ask why, last time I asked why they said they ran out of cheese. How can you run out of cheese? seriously someone doesn't know how to order properly to keep it in inventory? It sounds fishy [or cheesy]. .2. expired product I don't know why but there was an abundance of expired products on the shelf today. A burrata cheese that wasn't even marked down from June 1st was on the shelf. Someone stocked it incorrectly, new stuff was in the front older stuff in the back. Also a bakery item from may 31st was a markdown that wasn't pulled off the shelf. Check all expiration dates carefully. read more

If you are a long time resident, you will know that Amazon Fresh occupies the former ToysRUs store. It is right off the 605 freeway with lots of parking. I came here to return an amazon purchase. As I walked out, I noticed good prices on grocery items I needed so I went to grab a cart. It was one of those computer carts that you scan your items and just roll it out the store. Sonia showed me how to use it and was so helpful and nice. Wow. Give her a raise!! Great employee. read more

Basically I want to review the hot food. I purchased the soup 2x, the first one is the Tomato Basil soup and it is so sour that I don't want to eat anymore. I usually buy this kind of soup from another store and this is the first time I tasted this kind of soup that so sour. The 2nd time is the Broccoli Cheddar soup, this taste bitter. I don't understand why this soup tasted like this. I also buy this kind of soup in another store and it doesn't taste like what they have in this store. The pizza for me is ok considering the slice size for $1.99. We bought the Hawaiian, Cheese and Buffalo pizza slices and my kids doesn't like it. They said it doesn't taste good. I hope you will improve those food items I mentioned here and maybe we will buy again. Other items in store are pretty considerable in prices. Man...nothing makes me feel older than learning a new way to shop at a grocery store. :D My husband's account for whatever reason is not synced so his Amazon prime credit card and account do not work at the check in or any associated store utilizing the Prime discounts; ie: Whole Foods. The greeter was nice and explained the "just walk out" option; scan our Amazon account, put things into the cart...re-scan upon exiting and walk on out. I have so many questions! Are they watching you from cameras to see what you get? Is the cart chipped so it knows exactly what you got? Or are the packages chipped? My mind is blown. Someone younger please take the wheel & enlighten me! :) Discounted items are on average cheaper than regular supermarkets. Some randomness that I found glee in such as a family box size of Berry Berry Kix which is sort of hard to find & I paid full price with no hesitation. The hot food and deli looked okay. I was intrigued by the set price per box however...seems like a great deal to load up on protein for carb cutters. There was a gentleman who filled his box to the brim with rice and chicken tiki marsala. I can only imagine all the sauce busting out of the corners when he folded the flaps down. Ballsy. Will definitely be back for that hot deli one box challenge. Lol. There's a nice offering of daily specials as well which would be a great pick up on days with late sport practices. Never been to a Amazon fresh store before today was my first time and what brought me to the store was an online amazon order return , the process was so easy btw ! As my family and I were walking out Sonia approached us and offered my daughter a free fruit item for kids which was so generous of not only her but the store . She was able to not only engage with us but excite us about the store and promotional offers they have , and the self checkout carts which are amazing ! 18April2025: Went to return a merchandise, so with a new 25% of $50 we decided to do some shopping. Prices are much more competitive now so there are more shoppers than usual for Friday morning. They even have some great sales items. Great! But now the sad part. Many items are out-of-stock. What? They even run out of small cup for the self-serve soup, and there are still spoiled item the produce department so be careful what you take home. So Amazon Fresh, I am glad you listened but your inventory system and general store management still need improvement. Good luck. read more

My 5-star rating is not for their groceries, but for the convenience of making Amazon returns. The staff is usually all very kind and helpful too! I feel like the store itself is over priced, especially given what amazon.com is known for, competitive prices...so not exactly sure what the disconnect is. This store is consistently out of hot food items and often has no pizza slices in the hot bar area. I've come twice in the last month and both times they told me they didn't have cheese. I'm surprised it's called Amazon fresh when the produce and items sold here are far from fresh. Shelves are bare and items are all super old/expiring. Prices are also very expensive compared to local grocery stores in the area. 1) eggs & milk: I came to purchase organic eggs and milk last week. The expiration date on them was only LESS than a few days away.. super old!! Dates should be at least bare minimum 3-4 weeks out to be fresh 2) produce: this section was kind of sad. Items mostly spoiling or no stock. I bought a watermelon and a few onions. BOTH WERE ROTTEN/MOLDY inside !! Pics attached 3) meat: this section is missing a lot. Either they don't have enough shipment or it's just empty. They don't have organic chicken thighs or wings/legs. The butcher section meat also looked like the meat has been sitting there for days. 4) deli/pizza station: I stopped by at 7pm on a Friday night to grab a bite to eat. I went to the pizza station and was told it was already closed...how?! So I asked the worker what time they closed and he said 9pm. They were just short staffed so they closed the station down for the night....very disappointing read more

My review is how amazon staff handle confrontations with customers. I was in a hurry to return my amazon items and parked on the space right next to their family parking. My car covered the white line on the space but not the green line. No one is parked on both family parking. Then this white man parked his truck beside my car back first. He was able to get our of his truck without hitting my car then he started taking pictures of my care and license plate. Before I can talk to him, he went inside amazon fresh with his daughter. I confronted him inside the store asking why he took pictures of my car and license plate when i did not hit him or did anything to him. He said that because my cat covered the white line, I parked unlawfully and he will call the police. An amazon staff came cover to question the issue. According to the amazon staff that the pictures he took are public and that he was right to take pictures of my car and license plate without confronting me first at the parking area. Amazon staff also said that there are just people like him and i just need to accept it. This man still kept my car's picture and license plate even if i did not touch his car or anything. There is another family parking with no other cars beside it but he intentionally parked beside my car and accusing me of unlawful parking. Please beware of people like him. read more
