First time shopping at an Amazon Fresh, my shopping experience here is pretty positive. The market itself is very clean and organized, I used one of the Dash Carts, which made it easy and convenient to add stuff into your cart without the need to go to a register. The prices here are pretty reasonable however if you are an Amazon Prime member, you get deals and coupons which brings the prices down depending on the item's. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. If you have prime, I'd would definitely recommend coming here atleast once to try out this unique concept. read more

My 5-star rating is not for their groceries, but for the convenience of making Amazon returns. The staff is usually all very kind and helpful too! I feel like the store itself is over priced, especially given what amazon.com is known for, competitive prices...so not exactly sure what the disconnect is. This place is kinda pricey. They changed the price on the hot food items. I come here for the clam chowder because they are good but the small size price is like you're eating in a sit-down restaurant. I also tried returning an online order and after waiting for more than 2 weeks they said they lost the item but they sent me the refund. Hope they'll have some improvements. read more

I'm surprised it's called Amazon fresh when the produce and items sold here are far from fresh. Shelves are bare and items are all super old/expiring. Prices are also very expensive compared to local grocery stores in the area. 1) eggs & milk: I came to purchase organic eggs and milk last week. The expiration date on them was only LESS than a few days away.. super old!! Dates should be at least bare minimum 3-4 weeks out to be fresh 2) produce: this section was kind of sad. Items mostly spoiling or no stock. I bought a watermelon and a few onions. BOTH WERE ROTTEN/MOLDY inside !! Pics attached 3) meat: this section is missing a lot. Either they don't have enough shipment or it's just empty. They don't have organic chicken thighs or wings/legs. The butcher section meat also looked like the meat has been sitting there for days. 4) deli/pizza station: I stopped by at 7pm on a Friday night to grab a bite to eat. I went to the pizza station and was told it was already closed...how?! So I asked the worker what time they closed and he said 9pm. I went to Amazon Fresh to pick up an alcohol order which I placed. I can't drive due to a medical condition, so I rode a bicycle 40 minutes in one direction to get there. When I arrived and tried to pick up my order, they refused to give me my order because I bought the wrong identification card - one which had expired a few months ago, but ONE WHICH INDICATES MY AGE. I AM 57 YEARS OLD AND CLEARLY LOOK MY AGE! My beard and mustache are completely grey. They STILL refused to let me pick up my order. This is also the age of majority for consumption and possession of alcohol. It's illegal to sell, give, or furnish alcohol to anyone under 21, and anyone under 21 who attempts to purchase alcohol is guilty of an infraction. Businesses are required to ask for proof of age from customers WHO LOOK 30 YEARS OF AGE OR YOUNGER. If there's any doubt about a customer's ID, the business can refuse to sell them alcohol, but they can't discriminate based on race, color, sex, or other factors. Initially went in to return some items. (I'm comparing this to return service from Kohls) Return process is quick. You get your return receipt via email. The only difference is the emailed receipt. It's good to return at Kohl's if you want that discount coupon to shop there. Other than that, Amazon is more convenient and closer to my home. Since I thought I was just going to return, I bypassed the card reader and went through the regular entrance. I eventually ended up picking up food and some grocery items to buy. 1: you are not able to just "leave" the store with the items at hand since I didn't scan my Amazon card upon arrival. I had to go to the regular checkout line. 2: once the teller was scanning my items, you are able to use Amazon card or regular cc. They have a "palm scanner" that allows you to scan the palm of your hand as a way to "check out" and pay! It's like a fingerprint, Which I thought that was really crazy. I didn't try it because you need the actual Amazon card to set it up (which I didn't have). Not sure if I'll do it. Gotta think about that one LOL As far as items, prices are slightly more expensive than your regular grocery store. They seems to have all the same items as other stores. I didn't see anything that "wow'd" me. I did try some of their fresh food items. Slice of pizza : $1.79 not bad. I got a supreme slice. The pizzas all look thin crust (which I don't mind). The taste was decent. Not bad. A little greasy but I kinda expect that from pizza. Would I order again? Maybe. A sampler of their sushi. Small sushi rolls. Didn't taste bad. But I would skip out on that next time and actually order from a sushi restaurant if I really wanted sushi. I asked if it was bad fresh and they said, there's a chef in the back that makes them. (Hope it's true) Clam chowder: $5.99 for a medium cup (24oz) of soup. My dtr enjoyed it. I thought the price was decent. They also had chicken noodle & a chipotle butternut squash. Will I return? All I have to say is wow!!! The technology this place has it is amazing ! Basically login through your phone from your prime account pick what you want there's so many cameras in the store whatever you pick up and put in your basket it's scans the past few times I've been to this place it has never scanned anything wrong or overcharging me ! So as soon as you go in you scan your phone get what you want when you're done you scan out to leave and they charge you in a couple hours . But if you don't have any of that stuff you could just go to the cash register pay with ATM card or cash !!! I do have to say their pizza is amazing they sell it by the slice way better than Costco or Sam's Club pizza coming from a pizza lover ! I ordered $150 worth of groceries from this location through Amazon. They received my order and I got a notification saying they were packing my order and it will be ready between 5 and 6pm. I got a message saying it was running late, okay no problem. It was 830pm and I called trying to figure out what was going on. Long story short, it was 1030 before I was able to talk to someone who could have given me an answer. She was extremely unprofessional and giggling with her coworkers when I was explaining I cant afford to make a new order and wait a week to get my money back. She randomly put me on hold than came back a few min later and just told me my order was canceled. I didn't want my order canceled, I wanted them to reschedule it or do something other than canceled it. So now I have no food for my kids and I and no money to replace the groceries I needed for 3 to 7 days till I get my money back. Thanks Amazon! read more

This review is purely on the presentation and stock of this market. I did not purchase anything so I cannot say anything related to how easy or tedious the process of purchase is. I have heard so much about these markets and I wanted check it out in person. The store is nice and clean. Plenty of shopping carts stocked. I enjoyed browsing all the Amazon branded food and wondered if it is any good. I got extra excited when I saw the hot deli area. Hot pizza slices for the win. As I strolled down the aisles, I wondered how the store employees kept everything in place. Then I saw a sign that said put what you don't want back to its original place to prevent getting charged for it. Easy fix for lazy people. Cool concept but the employees are like robots and do not smile, greet or offer to help any customers. Maybe it's not about customer satisfaction here since it's self serve. This review is specifically for their soup and salad bar. I come to Amazon fresh a lot to do returns and I pass by the fresh soup and salad bar all the time. I always see the clam chowder container empty so I asked what days they serve it and the staff said they have it everyday, they just run out of it quickly. She suggested to get the refrigerated ones which is the same soup, just leftover when they have too much and it's cheaper. So I bought one and put a bowl of it into the microwave and for a store bought clam chowder it was delicious. Definitely did not taste like canned soup. It was creamy and lots of clams. I'd recommend this soup if you can't wait for the Friday soup de jour of clam chowder at your favorite restaurant. read more

Beware!!! I had to return an item and they have those QR codes to scan at the counter to get different discounts. The manager or whoever she was helped me because it didn't seem to work, she said entered a link on my iPhone...I went to it because I trusted her and it was there on the counter...well the money I had in my Amazon account shows I purchased something when I didn't and it was that day that showed the transaction. In a nutshell.... NOT easy explaining what I did and what happened! Lost that $$$ that was in there which thank god was under $20!! This is why I will not add a CC on Amazon! Rude and inadequate employees abound here. In addition, there is a lack of appropriate "no cash allowed" signage in self checkout. 1 sign, with small letters printed at the bottom of a sign offset from the entrance. No where on the registers or checkout station does it state this. Thus, you check out and can't pay... When I brought it up to a staff member, her reply was completely disrespectful. Compared to the other Amazon Fresh locations, I actually really like and prefer this one. I know some reviews say the produce was either lacking or bad quality but for some reason, when I go, it's good standards for me. But I will say the meat and seafood dept is eh. You should go elsewhere for that. Selection is good when it comes to the basics and the fresh hot food (pizza, salad bar, sandwiches, etc.) My star off would be the service. Yes, the majority of the workers you see are picking items for online orders so they don't look too thrilled, but also when asking for items, it seems like trying to pry out spy information from them. They could work on the customer service part. Overall though, I'm good with this location. The simplicity and ease of it all is nice and a good flow if you know what you're getting. read more

Wanted to get a gift card and the associate wouldn't, again, wouldn't let myself in for a quick purchase (giftcard) because they said they were closed and clearly the operation of the store sign says 10:00pm And customers were still shopping. January 2023 What I like about this store is the fact it offers daily essentials, and groceries at a budget-friendly price. The store has a private lot which has ample parking. I always have my Amazon packages delivered here for pick up. The staff here are friendly and are always restocking the popular items. I believe it's not too busy due to the prices being a bit higher than other grocery stores near by. So much for convenience, because this visit became inconvenient for me. And I didn't buy anything!! Apparently, if you scan in make sure if anyone who accompanies you doesn't scan in or gets their own cart and scans in CORRECTLY because you could get charged on your account too for their purchases. And don't share carts because the system doesn't recognize who is getting what. I called Amazon about an unknown charge on my account and they said the only way I could get credited was to go back to the store and talk to their customer service team. My friend who was buying that day and somehow the system missed her scan in from a different turnstile and I still got charged for her stuff. Now I have to go back (another 20 mile trip) to the store and get this issue resolved. Amazon needs to fix this. Until then, I'm not going in another one or I go alone. I'd better get recredited. This evening their "system" was not accepting coupons. Without a good $20 off of $40+ coupon, that everybody was trying to use this evening, prices are way way over inflated. They charge per piece of fruit instead of by the pound now. Even sweet potatoes are charged by the piece. Customers were leaving their full carts at checkout and just leaving the store. At least one worker was kind enough to tell me as I was entering the store. I feel sorry for the many people whom had their time wasted. Another illegal, bait and switch business practice. One of the few Amazon Fresh Stores that you can use your palm to pay for everything. I usually buy produce here as it is fresh and reasonably priced. I tend not to buy proteins or other items here unless I have to. I always notice they have more workers fulfilling orders then actual shoppers coming into the store to buy things. I don't really interact with any of the workers. The hot bar is great because it is by the size of the box, Large for $12.99 and Medium for $9.99 where it is not by weight. However, the food remains the same each day and night. read more

I've had to reduce my rating for the store which is really sad. As usual, a place opens and customer service is tremendous. Give it a few months and it is downhill from there. Until recently it wasn't anything to write about, but my last experience left me frustrated. Especially since on the Amazon app there's apparently not a way to rate your in store or merchandise return experience. I had to return several items I purchased that didn't quite fit and I had the returns ready on my phone and everything. The young girl that processed my return apparently has either some place she'd rather be or was having a really bad day. I walked up to the counter and said "good morning". Her, no response. The only words she spoke to me was asking me "Which ones are the pants?" So I pointed to it. We went through returning all three items and then without looking at me she says, "Your good". I was so irritated that I walked away leaving my plastic bag on the counter then I hear her yell, "your bag". Not even a "sir" or "excuse me sir". Seriously Amazon? I've been a long time customer and I RARELY return anything. I'll probably just ship things back myself from now on. SMH. I've been to another Amazon grocery store in Seattle but I think the technology was different there, with high tech shelves and/or carts vs. the technology at this store with the several cameras everywhere. I was excited to try this technology to see how much time I could save but in the end was very disappointed. The employees were very helpful in guiding folks on how to utilize this new tech, but as others mentioned, the prices weren't necessarily great. Without the $10 off $20 coupon, the prices would've been pretty expensive. The thing I didn't like the most at the time of shopping is there wasn't really a method to see what's currently calculated into your cart during your shopping trip...which would help with accuracy or just to know how much I'm racking up on my trip so far. The process was easy. Scan in, pluck stuff off the shelf, scan out. Then you have a little area to transfer your stuff into your grocery bag if needed. The absolute worst thing was you don't even get a receipt until several hours later. I already hated the idea of that...but of course...when I got my receipt in email/Amazon app later, there were three items mischarged! So instead of saving time, I ended up wasting more time having to adjudicate these issues with customer service. Overall bad experience and am just going to go traditional or self checkout route from now on. read more
