This TJ's location is one of my local spots for grocery shopping, flower arrangement gifts, and more. This seems to be one of the average-sized yet spacious TJ's I've been to, and it has most of the daily and featured items in stock. It gets pretty busy at times, as does the parking lot. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed. I appreciate that they have live cashiers and not self-checkouts. Prices are also good to average. A few personal favorites: - The freshly prepared food and salads - Organic fruits and veggies - The variety of pressed juices, probiotic drinks, and wellness shots - A nice selection of wine, beer, and spirits - Plenty of snacks (chips, salsas, dips, etc) - A good variety of meats, cheeses, and frozen items. - Can't forget the skin and health care needs. Some real winners for a fraction of the cost of big-name brands. ie. Vitamin C Serum and Daily Facial Sunscreen that my family loves. - Complimentary samples Depending on what I want to eat or cook at home, TJ's can provide most of what I need. There are some great items I've bought and will buy again, but there are also some disappointments. Overall, I like to shop at TJ's on the regular and am looking forward to the next trip. read more

Everyone knows about the bizarre Trader Joe's tote bag trend. I never really understood what the craze was all about. Luckily, I'm not one to get into trends like most people do. At least for the most part. Mom and I had a bit of time to kill and thought it a good idea to walk off the semi-huge lunch we just had. I figured this town center was a good place to do it. It was a plus finding a TJ's here, so out of curiosity, we decided to make a quick stop just to see if they happen to be carrying these ever so famous tote bags. And they did. And the sign says LIMIT 2. No biggie, we grabbed 4, 2 for each of us. While in line, I mentioned to Mom how much I appreciate this store for limiting the number of bags each customer can purchase. We have seen people hoarding them by the hundreds leaving many others out of opportunity to buy/own them. Miss Young-ish cashier must have overheard us and gave her unsolicited and unwanted retort as she sneered at us paired with snarky attitude and said, "Actually, the limit is 2 per household." Welp... that's not what the sign says. It clearly just says, "LIMIT 2." No hint of the word "household" anywhere. But that's all irrelevant anyway as I responded to her appropriately by turning to her direction, gave her a hard stare and said, "That's nice. She and I (while pointing at my Mom) don't live together." She couldn't hide her embarrassment. That look was priceless. This is exactly what happens when one makes false assumptions, so that's right: keep looking down and avoid eye contact as you complete our transactions. I love Trader Joe's, that hasn't changed. The low rating is about the cashier's attitude. I'd still come back, but that probably won't be awhile since there are many TJ's much closer to home. Will update as needed. read more

Excellent customer service. But the poison and detrimental ingredients in so many of their food is absolutely disappointing. The company does not care about peoples health. The amount of canola oil in frozen food and sugar in their drinks. Read the labels of what you're buying. And TJ unfortunately selects brands that are inhumane. I will no longer be supporting or shopping at trader joes sadly. read more

Everything is always organized and I can easily find what time looking for. Ambiance is nice, bright, clean, and neat. Quite literally the best Trader Joe's I have ever been to. I work across the street from here about 2-3 times a year and I always come here during my lunch breaks. In the early mornings, they are stocked with the mini totes at the time I went in December 2025. I came again during Valentines day and they came PREPARED. An over abundance of flowers were placed outside and really based on honor system for you to go inside and pay as there are no employees outside monitoring it. This Trader Joe's is almost always stocked and everyone working there is super friendly. If I lived near here, I would definitely come back here often. There is plenty of parking and so many shops nearby for more shopping! 10/10 would recommend. read more

Odd interaction with register clerks. Being starred down after misunderstanding is not what Trader Joe's customer service is known for.

I purchased a package of beer that contained four cans bundled together, but the employee accidentally charged me for eight cans. When I looked at the receipt and pointed out that I believed I had been charged incorrectly, the employee became defensive and insisted that she had charged me correctly. I asked her to check it one more time, and she told me to come over and look at the register monitor. While I was standing there, she scanned one individual can of beer on the screen. What was especially upsetting was that she did not even look at the receipt to verify the transaction, and instead continued insisting that she was correct even though the mistake was hers. Then, the employee next to her responded in a dismissive and almost mocking manner, saying that customers should not be looking at the monitor. This made the situation even more uncomfortable and embarrassing. Although the extra charge was eventually refunded, I was very disappointed by the way both employees treated me. This experience was very different from the friendly and respectful service I have come to expect from Trader Joe's employees. I believe employees should be properly trained not only to make sure transactions are entered correctly, but also on how to handle situations when a customer questions a charge. It was particularly concerning that the employee asked me to look at the register monitor and then another employee became upset when I did so. Most importantly, I found it very unpleasant that the employee refused to acknowledge her mistake and insisted that she was right instead of simply checking the receipt and correcting the error. Mistakes can happen, but the way employees respond to customers when mistakes occur is very important. I hope Trader Joe's will take this incident seriously and provide appropriate training to ensure that customers are treated with the courtesy and respect that Trader Joe's is known for. read more

My hometown location of Trader Joe's. I love the produce here, and did a quick run for hummus, garlic naan and fruit. Clean store with much more spacious aisles than my Tucson locations. I love the different options they have available. I went to the hospital not that long ago and was told I had to change my diet. Trader Joe's had a lot of things that I'm able to eat and for great prices. I love peanut butter and jelly and was able to find some excellent substitutes that I'm able to eat. They have so many great options, you just get lost in the store because of the excellent variety. The store is very clean and the staff is so friendly and they give you great information about products. read more

The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful, and even during the busy hours they manage to keep the flow going smoothly. The cashiers in particular are quick and personable, which makes checkout a breeze. Their product selection is great, and they're usually well stocked on nearly everything. My go to spot whenever I'm craving an easy affordable meal. Service is always great and friendly. Not sure why but there has been an overflow of people at this location. It's not a bad thing but it has been overly crowded. If you don't go early, most of the items you're looking for are sold out. Ambiance is great but I'd say some of the rows especially the middle section are narrow, which can be frustrating as some people just leave their carts and go elsewhere. I've always had great experiences at this location. Everyone has always been very helpful and welcoming into the store. Did you know they also offer field trips for kids? We had one scheduled for our homeschool co-op and they toured us around the store and took us to their back room where they stock their stuff and showed us just how operations worked. It was very fun to learn about how they order their items day by day to make sure the items in stock are fresh. The team members who toured us around were very friendly as well. This location is always out of everything even down to the paper, thin produce baggies. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to this location where they're out of something, it's at least once a week. I even tried calling before going to the store to ensure that they have the product before I get in and when I arrive, they don't have it. Once I purchased tomatoes and they didn't have those super thin produce baggies and I had brought my own bags but not small bags to put tomatoes in so I I asked the cashier if they had anything for me to put the tomatoes in because obviously I didn't want them to get smooshed in with my other groceries. She said I can purchase one of their paper bags which defeats the purpose of me bringing my own bag so I said no, and she even had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to carry them out separately from the bag like, what did you want me to do juggle them out to my car?!? read more

5/29/23 Hubby said let's go to Trader Joe's before they close....and I'm out the door! You don't have to tell me twice! This is my go to location & been coming here for years since it opened. I do prefer going to Sprouts but there are items that I can only get here (like their amazing blister peanuts! Among other things). Staff are friendly & very helpful-for instance instead of telling me where to find items, they'd actually walk over with me to show it. That's appreciated. It's closing time so I got my essentials & a candle that smelled do great that I had to buy it! Also, I used up the rest of the TJ gift card my co worker got me from Christmas or so ago lol. I've always loved shopping at Trader Joe's, but the Cerritos location truly raised the bar during my most recent visit. While checking out, I was purchasing some pancetta when the cashier, Liliana, noticed a slight discoloration in the packaging. Without skipping a beat, she rang the bell and called over a manager to grab me a fresh one--before I even had a chance to say anything. It was quick, seamless, and genuinely thoughtful. That level of attention to detail and care for the customer experience really stood out. Liliana's professionalism and proactiveness made my day. I got so frustrated about the korean product, meatless bulgogi (vegan). I bought it yesterday and I cooked today for lunch. Guess what? They said vegan bulgogi based on soy beans but tasted disgusting texture and unseasoned. I couldn't taste good beef flavor. This is not the korean bulgogi. I got so upset. I wanted to return it but I mixed additional korean soy sauce, kotchujang, soy bean paste, garlic, pepper, and more sugar, sesame oil to avoid weird texture and flavor. Pretty hard to find the frozen korean products at the Trader Joe's. That is why I picked it up yesterday but..... Tasted disgusting to be honest. I want to ask the buyer to select the real flavorful products. Even Ddokbokki korean product is terrible to bite the hard rice cakes. I cooked more time to make the rice cakes much softer but it didn't work. Still hard texture. Very Dissapointed!!! read more

This is my second time here, I don't know why I didn't write a review last time but better late than never. I only arrived to get my daughter some soups due to her having 4 wisdom teeth pulled(ouch). She couldn't eat solid foods so I knew for a fact Trader Joe's soups are not only good, they're healthy for the most part. I selected 2 and then walked around and see if I could find more great things to spend my money on. What I got was a dry bar of soap that is a shampoo? It smells delicious! I also got very nice rose scented candles! I asked for packaged mashed potatoes to give to my daughter but a very friendly employee told me they only have mashed potatoes available in the frozen section. Who would have thought? The mashed potatoes are in little strips sort of like string cheese, you simply open the package and put the little chunks on your pan and cook, no water or butter they just cook like that, pretty awesome if you ask me. I got lots of great items, raspberry pop tarts, chocolate croissants, oatmeal bars, salads and some delicious strawberry lemonade. What an amazing grocery store! I received a gift card for my birthday recently so decided to stop by this location as I was in the area. 99% of the time I do not shop at any TJ's location because they are always so crowded; however, since I had the gift card and it was earlier in the morning there was plenty of parking and not as many people in the store. Store was clean, well stocked, and had super friendly employees (as always). I love their produce as it's always high quality and fresh. I actually came in for some corn chips for a recipe I was going to make and couldn't believe at my regular grocery store that they were now 6.99/bag! A friend of mine told me to pick some up at TJ's as they taste better and were only 2.49/bag! I doubt I will make the drive to this location in the future unless I am in the area again; however, I might start shopping at my local TJ's in the LB area when they first open to avoid the crowds. read more

I went to this location today to buy my fave blue cheese and italian sparkling wine, "Asti", and apple pie, some frozen Chinese foods. I am so happy as soon as I get to the entrance, I see all the flowers, and fruits. I started shopping from there and went to the cheese, frozen foods area. I love trader Joe's brand Chinese orange chicken, Kung pao chicken. Easy to cook and tastes great. Everything is organic, cheap, flavorful. Some items I can't buy from Costco, I buy here. Appetizers to desserts, fresh to frozen....especially the holiday desserts and appetizers are really great. Just bake them. Super easy! They have the great selections of imported wines and cheese. Affordable and great taste too. Even the bouquet of flowers are cheep. I love the organic foods, reliable, great taste at the trader Joe's. Thanks for the consistent flavors, orange chicken and Kung pao chicken. 5 stars! I don't need to go to the Chinese restaurant that is why. Price is very affordable, some is cheap even though organic. Very fresh for everything. I strongly recommend their frozen Asian foods and imported wines. Why we don't have the store in my home area? I wish I have one in the future. Haha... Had been coming here for years. Always good until today. For the first time, rude cashier. Perhaps things are changing. After waiting in line, the customer in front was not able to pay and made multiple trips to the car. When inquired about the situation, the cashier not only didn't offer to help but was rude about the situation. It is simply not fair for the customer who already waited in line, then the store offering no assistance or explanation, and then being rude about the whole situation. read more

This Trader Joe's is near the hotel I was staying at in Long Beach/Cerritos area. It was a quick drive or walk across the street. The store is clean and it was easy to find some good fresh food. At the checkout, I was charged extra for double bagging, despite having only four lightweight items and never requesting that service. When I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty, rather than looking into the specifics of my purchase or asking to see my receipt, she immediately insisted that double bagging is "almost always necessary" regardless of the number and weight of items and that it would've been either double bags or two separate bags. In this case, the extra layer of paper was clearly unnecessary but she firmly insisted that it was absolutely necessary. All I was looking for was a simple acknowledgment that the clerk should have asked first, and an assurance that it wouldn't happen again. Instead, I felt dismissed by a rigid defence of the non existent double-bagging policy, without any effort to assess the actual situation. A small gesture of listening and a sincere apology would have made all the difference. read more

Bought Trader Joe's pork shu mai pork dumplings. Followed the directions on the packet. They were mushy they tasted like awful. End up giving them to my dog. The smell left a bad odor in my mouth and house. This should be taken off the market immediately. read more

Whenever I come into this store I know two things; great service, and fresh flowers. Recently I have been trying to cook at home on the weekends since during the week I spend a bit on dining out. Many of their frozen meals are enough for two people and the quality of the food is restaurant-worthy. The lines are long but the staff tends to ring up the items fairly quickly so the wait for checkout is never bad. read more

We absolutely love this location and come here often to shoppe for fresh produce and also their meat selections. Customer service is always good and employees are friendly. I love how they have a section for all their new products that way you can't miss them. The store is big, very well organized, and actually has restrooms just for customers lol.
