So I stopped by to get an ice Americano. The vibe of the coffee shop is very nice. Open layout study rooms perfect if you want to study or if you're going to meet up with friends. I should have known when I asked her if they had ice coffee, she said yes and responded with we can make you an ice Americano, which it's not the same. However, I decided to order an ice Americano. The other thing is I ordered a turkey sandwich which was very good and had a lot of favor. By the time, when my order comes out, I take it to my car and start drinking it, I started sipping my coffee, not realizing that I had coffee grounds inside, I was already late to work, so I did not want to go back or to make any fuss about it. Which couple hours later I just wanted to call the store to ask them if they can remake it or if there's anything that can do, they do not say anything about that and not acknowledge that my coffee was pretty much coffee grounds, and water. Which I was very sympathetic and told them I don't know if they calibrated the machine in the morning because I can in the morning. At the end of the story, she said thank you for letting us that our machine is not calibrated and she said goodbye. I really like this place I like the vibe I like the small family Business own. but if I'm gonna receive a terrible coffee order with a side of terrible customer service it's not worth driving here. At this point, I would rather just go to Starbucks and save myself a couple dollars. I am tired of small little businesses, not taking time and effort to really understand how to make a good cup of coffee. And they be charging a leg and an arm for it. To my dismay I asked him if he was going to cut it with the pretty slicer machine near him? I mean that's how it used to work and how it works at any other deli meat counters. As the man cut the salami I continued to shop and picked up a jar of silver onions that looked brownish ( the onions inside the jar) and I thought well maybe they are supposed to look this way. Maybe they were a different type of onions. When I thought to look for an expiration date again to my dismay I observed that it had been expired since 2023. Unfortunately I purchased extra pedas chili which looked ok but when I got home I found out that it has been expired since 2018 (please see attached picture). This wasn't the worst of it though because we found a jar of something with leafy green bits that had been expired since 2013. Yes 2013! Bro! You think I should try the chili? You think I'll survive?
