Remember to ask for extra sauce and if you get a sandwich I'd recommend getting it extra toasted. The place is small, but clean and has 2 tablets to.order off of. Parking lot is busy because it shares it with many other shops, but pretty easy to still get a stall. Service was nice and quick. The worker even checked in on me while I was browsing the menu. I've been seeing this online and wanted to try it. As you walk in, the interior is definitely egg themed lol meaning it was orange and yellow. You can either order at the counter or the kiosk. The cashier did ask if I had any questions or needed recommendations. She recommended the bacon and cheese sandwich which was what I got. I ordered the combo which came with the bacon and cheese egg sandwich. It came with hash brown bites and option of either orange juice, iced or hot coffee. Surprisingly I got the OJ. I came here because I saw a YouTube video about the best egg sandwich in Japan, and it made me want one. Now the one in the video is super complicated, uses 10 eggs, and takes a long time to prepare. Nevertheless, i still felt like something in that genre. This place was the closest place to my home in that genre. So I went. The place itself is minimalist, clean, and has eggy colors. It's clearly a chain, but that doesn't make it bad. I ordered my food via kiosk. I ordered the classic egg sandwich and a New Orleans style cold brew. It was done quickly and looked good. When I saw the ingredients, I was leery of all the mayo. Aioli is mayo with a different name. So there's a "signature egg sauce", that's mayo based, and "house siracha aioli", also mayo. I like mayonnaise, but not on everything. I ordered it with the siracha version on the side. The sandwich has toasted brioche bread and the eggs are super fluffy, topped with chives. It's served standing up on its side in a box that keeps it that way. That part works. The egg sauce is on the top, as are the chives. The first couple of bites, with the sauce, were my least favorite bites. It wasn't bad. I realized I should have ordered both sauces on the side. After the first few bites, it was delicious. The eggs are rich and fluffy and don't need the sauce, imho. i tried the siracha on a couple of bites and it's fine on the side. The only thing that'd make it better is the chives being on more than the top. But it's a very good egg sandwich. The cold brew had a little chicory in it, which I liked. We decided to check out this spot for brunch today. It got pretty busy really quickly. Seems like there were two self service kiosks to place your order. Saw at least four staff busily preparing orders. We placed our order and waited about 10 minutes. There was very limited seating (10-12 max )so we decided to take our order togo and eat in the car. But the interior was very clean and bright. We ordered egg and avocado with OJ. I had the biscoff latte, and it did not disappoint. Came for a quick lunch at this spot which we've been eyeing since before it opened. I have been seeing this style of sandwich trending in Korea and have seen it pop up in a few dramas (iykyk - hospital playlist ) so I wanted to give it a try. Overall service was slow which was acceptable since they were new. Ordered an ice coffee which I could tell was a standard cheap pot coffee splashed with a small serving of oatmilk. As someone who is more peculiar about coffee I felt slightly letdown but I know it's borderline acceptable. Considering this place is marketing a more breakfasty spot I think investing a bit more in ensuring the coffee is good is a good idea :). Sandwich was solid but super heavy and dense. I came around 10:30 AM and it was packed--every table was full. There are a few seating options (a couple tables for four, a couple for two, and a booth that fits about five), plus a gender-neutral restroom. Since it was so busy, I ended up ordering to go. Late review!! Better late than never ! My boyfriend and I stopped by last Sunday as a last minute brunch. I've never been the biggest fan of egg, but this spot definitely changed my mind about eggs. It was busy since I did go during peak lunch hour but they had a self order kiosk which was handy since it has pictures. The employees were very friendly. This location is pretty small so we almost didn't get to stay and eat but by the time our order was ready, some seats had opened up. I am so happy that Egg Tuck finally made it down to the Cerritos area! They're located in the same plaza as the Daiso and Lee's Sandwiches. When I walked by, I saw that they have a cute yellow theme going on. There were tall chairs placed along the window sill so you can eat and look outside. I've had this place bookmarked since their Koreatown location to try their soft and fluffy egg sandwiches. I ordered Tater Tots, Avo Egg, Ham & Cheese, and Royal West Sandwiches through PostMates. My top two were the Avo Egg and Royal West. The egg consistency for all the sandwiches were perfectly runny, soft, and fluffy! I loved the creaminess of the avocado that enhanced the softness of the egg. For the Royal West, I liked the flavor of the house made Korean short rib patty (tteok galbi) and the unique combination with the cheddar cheese, grilled onions, pickles. All the sandwiches are served in their house brioche buns. Because there's so much goodness and yumminess in the sandwich, the buns didn't hold up very well so they did get messy pretty quickly. I stumbled across this location on my way to lees. I remember enjoying eggtuck the first time I had it a few years back in Ktown and its still as delicious. The bread is soft and fluffy, eggs made to perfection and the sandwiches are FAT lol. I ordered the ham and cheese, it was very filling. Everything I wanted. My boyfriend ordered the royal west. Came here for some breakfast. They have some of the best egg sandwiches and breakfast burritos. They are known for how good their eggs are. Perfectly cooked, fluffy and soft. We ordered the Spicy Royal burrito, Royal burrito, Avo egg sandwich, egg tots, and Bacon and cheese sandwich. The burritos had Korean inspired beef patties. Both were so good! The tater tots are always crispy and tasty. The sandwiches were delicious served on toasted brioche bread, and their aioli sauce. The staff is very attentive and helpful. I've had this spot on my radar for a while and finally got the chance to go. It's a very nice looking place, very clean, not too big but seating Is comfy. The lady ahead of me was taking a long time to decide on what to order but the cashier at the counter was very patient with her which was nice since not all of us can be that patient at times lol. So at least it gave me a chance to decide on what I wanted which was their Bacon egg n cheese sandwich and some tater tots. This sandwich is very thoughtfully made and packaged, the egg is a soft scramble, although I've never had it that way I was happy it was so delicious and the sauce they add gives an extra layer of flavor (I still like to add ketchup because that's just how I like scrambled eggs) The bread is so soft and buttery delicious. The tots were nice n crunchy and a perfect accompaniment to the sandwich. We ended up ordering a Biscoff latte before we left and it was delicious and not overly sweet. I really loved this sandwich. If you like scrambled eggs, you'll enjoy this place! I ordered the avocado egg with ham and cheese added, the Royal West, and egg tots. The sandwiches were incredibly creamy and reminded me of Korean Isaac Toast. Next time, I'd add bacon instead of ham to the avocado egg- on its own, the egg and avocado combo is a bit bland, and bacon would add a nice salty contrast. As for the egg tots, I'd personally recommend the sandwiches instead. The egg tots were more like classic tater tots topped with scrambled eggs, so they didn't stand out as much compared to the sandwiches. Overall, it's a good, hearty breakfast spot. The interior is clean and bright. I also ordered a honey lemonade and a house iced coffee. The lemonade was refreshing. I opted for milk in the iced coffee, but they added quite a bit- nearly to 1/2 milk from what I saw- so it ended up tasting more like milk than coffee. Wow! I found this place from a YouTube channel so I had to stop in and I'm glad I did. I ordered the avo egg sandwich and even with about six people ahead of me it came out in around five minutes. The packaging is kind of wild. It comes in a box, then the sandwich sits in a cardboard wrap sealed with film, but once you open it the sandwich is stacked and neat, not smashed at all. The bread is super soft and lightly sweet, almost like milk bread. The eggs are fluffy and creamy, the sauce ties everything together, and the avocado adds a smooth fresh bite so nothing feels heavy. I'll start off by saying the food is great and worth the price and the staff has never been less than friendly with every visit, so those are the positives. My issue lies with how customer issues seem to be managed. I placed two mobile arounds around a week and a half apart and both times my order was made incorrectly and had the exact same problem. I had ordered an avocado egg sandwich with the sauces on the side, nothing crazy. Both times not only were the sauces missing, which that in itself isn't a big deal to me, but more importantly the avocado on an Avocado Egg sandwich, one of two main ingredients, was not in the sandwich. Mistakes happen all the time when it comes to ordering from any restaurant. It's completely normal and understandable as everyone is human and makes mistakes, but to me what's important and makes a business stand out is how they handle guest recovery when they do make mistakes. That's where it becomes clear that there seems to be a lack of guidance or protocol on behalf of management so that their team is trained on how to handle at least the simpler of guest recovery issues. Both times after getting home and realized my order was made incorrectly I called the store and both times the person on the phone seemed to have no idea what to do. Both times the response to my problem was," the manager isn't here right now so we'll take your name and number and they'll get in touch with you." With it seeming like the manager steps in and out of the business frequently, with even more reason there should be some sort of protocol in place for the team to be handle the lighter issues. The first time I called once they told me that I asked if I could just bring the sandwich back, I hadn't touched it, and just get it remade. I live nearby so driving back wasn't a big issue for me. The employee on the phone seemed hesitant, but after consulting with what seemed to be another employee they agreed that was fine so I simply went back and got it replaced. Staff was kind and apologetic, no problem. The second visit I had to call was a lot more abrupt. Same response about just passing the info to the manager because they weren't in the store and then the call was ended. Didn't touch the food because I figured maybe I'll get a call within an hour or so and I'll just bring it back and get it remade. The whole day went by and no call ever happened so the food ended up just sitting out for hours and eventually just going to waste like the money spent on it. A few days later and still no contact which is why I felt compelled to write the review considering management likes to frequent here. All this to say, if you place mobile orders or take-out orders make sure to check your items before you leave the store to make sure they are accurate. Also that management should better prepare their staff to handle minor guest relations in the moment, especially if there is a consistent lack of management presence in the store, instead of having customers wait for a call that isn't going to be made which causes food to go to waste and issues to be left unresolved. read more
