They carry the major brand items like Campbells and a plethora of their private label, Aplenty & Happy Belly, as well as Whole Foods' 365 Brand. This market is possibly my one-stop shop. One time I shopped for 365 Brand Freeze-Dried Strawberries, Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese, Tampax Tampons, Vaseline, Twix, Rockenwagner Brioche Bread, sliced sandwich meats by the pound, and cucumbers. I was even able to do an Amazon.com return at their Customer Service center in the back. Amazon revolutionizes a fast checkout. I'm amazed by their technology to make shopping more efficient and convenient. If you scanned your Amazon QR code, you can just walk through their checkout gate with your groceries. (While you're shopping, their proprietary cameras and sensors "scans" all your grocery items for a check-out-free experience.) You can ask Alexa (computerized pads throughout the store) where certain items are and she'll tell you the aisle number. Pretty nifty if you can't flag down a worker. Otherwise, the workers are friendly and often ask if I need help finding a specific product. I do have to say you have to watch out for those who are fulfilling orders with carts. They may not see you and get run over. Also lately, I've noticed more shelves are empty, specifically the pet aisle. I admit their coupons (that arrive in the mailer) are the main reason I come to shop. I've come countless times and been satisfied with my experience. I'm an Amazon Fresh convert! read more

Interesting idea, but overall experience is buggy and error prone. Scanned code in main Amazon app to enter. If you're in a group, get ready to cross the turnstile/gate together. Items are stocked very neatly. Tested the pick up and put back item several times, and it's mostly accurate, but I consider it a horrible experience not to be able to view your receipt real time on your phone as you shop - honestly could not believe they launched without this feature in place. Scanned coupon first and app code after to exit. Finally had the itemized receipt in my email about 3 hours later. For any errors, you have to call their customer service hotline where those people are less than nice. On the flip side, the employees in the store are very nice. Mostly younger individuals and more adept at technology I guess. I haven't had anyone tell me anything incorrect yet. I'd actually much prefer they open a regular Whole Foods here instead. read more

I like coming here for grocery and hot food items. Place is clean, never crowded, and always has good deals. More savings if you're a Prime member. Love the ease and convenience of contactless payment through the QR code from the Amazon app. Great way to use those Amazon gift cards. There are also cashiers if you prefer human interaction to pay for your items. Service is friendly and helpful and there is someone greeting you at the door. You can return your Amazon purchases at the back left corner. There is ample parking. read more

Very helpful staff. Was looking for cherries which wasn't on the floor. Asked a staff and went to the back and brought out fresh boxes which they just received. There's a free fruit stand in the front for kids which my baby enjoyed, eating a banana while I shopped. I like that I can get 5% cash back on groceries there with my Amazon credit card. I used to shop all my groceries at Walmart because of their 5% credit card but since they discontinued it, I think I might switch over to Amazon fresh and use my credit card to get 5% on all my groceries. read more

Yesterday, went shopping at Amazon, purchased two items for a good deal. By the time I got home, one of my items were missing. I went back to the store, and waiters ten mins by the cashier for no help at all. The cashier felt really bad. I decided to go back today to talk to a manger. One of the managers I spoke with, they didn't have a name tag. It was a gentleman. He was rude about it. Telling me the next time I purchase something and I walk out. There is nothing he can do. First of all, I am bringing you business, secondly, it's my money. I have a right to it. If I'm missing an item, I either will get my money back or get that item or go higher in authority. I am sorry your having a bad day or whatever. Because my item was missing, i get that type of attitude. No thank you. I show respect everywhere I go, and I expect to get it back. Before you venture over to Amazon Fresh, know that the store has a cumulative rating of 2 stars for a reason. It's not by chance. Amazon Fresh does not compare to Whole Foods--not even 365, Whole Foods', smaller subsidiary store. Amazon Fresh is quite literally a waste of space. Something else could have been done with that building. You walk into the store, you'll find that the shelves are literally quite barren. The items you do see, will be priced significantly higher than they were say if you found it at Target or Walmart. Their hot foods bar also seems to have a fixed & unchanging menu. You'll also see many of the dishes will also be empty as well. You'll find the majority of the people who come into the store have a coupon. If there's one thing Amazon Fresh can and will do, is that they'll run that weekly advertisement and send you a coupon in the mail to get your foot in the door, which is a great way of garnering foot traffic--don't get me wrong. However, upon entering the store you may struggle to find things actually worth purchasing to spend the coupon on. read more

It was our first time in this store. As we walked in today 7/23/2022 around 5pm we were stoped by an Asian lady at the entrance of the store. We greeted her and asked how it worked. The lady of Asian decent in her late 40s sighed the loudest sigh I've ever heard and asked if we had an Amazon account. We said yes but it was our 1st time in a store like this and we wanted to know how it work. She told us she didn't understand why we came if we've never been here before. She told us to scan our bar code and go inside everything was monitored and the groceries will be charged to the credit card on file. I have never felt so embarrassed, yet still thanked her for her time and proceeded to go in. There was many fruit flies all over the fruits, some fruits were also rotten overall not a lot of variety. Meat sectioning not a lot of meat options . Other than that the store was nice and clean and had many other foods to offer. Hopefully the Asian lady reads this comment and knows that the reason we went is for people like her (that work in grocery stores) to have a job. If she hates her job that much she should look into a different career path this late in her life. read more

Had a great shopping experience. Workers were friendly too. I was a little confused at first but the gentleman said I just need to scan my QR, place things in my cart and scan the code on the way out. The shelves are not overly packed and cameras are everywhere so when you place an item in your cart it is registered. This was the easiest shopping experience. I had the option of registering my hand but not sure I am ready for that just yet. The store was super clean and well stocked. They also have a nice seating area inside and outside to enjoy the prepared food. Yes the prices are a little more for many items but the convenience is priceless to me. read more

First time here, and probably last. I was not impressed whatsoever. The ONLY nice thing was being able to walk out and not have to stand in a check out line waiting. But they do have actual cashiers. Shelves were pretty bare and they were out of stock of quite a lot of things. And they don't carry a lot of things that I was looking/shopping for. There were a lot of employees running around for curbside and delivery orders, but not many stockers. I didn't expect to see so many employees running around. Most of the prices were higher than where I usually shop also. And lastly, there is no way to see your running total as you shop AND you don't get a receipt immediately. You have to wait for them to send it to you a couple hours later. I think this is good for folks that don't want to, or are unable to, leave their house/apartment but need groceries. Like I said, wasn't impressed. I prefer you shop in a "regular" store. Maybe I'm just too old. read more

I really wanted to like this store because it is super convenient for me. Unfortunately very disappointed so far. I hope Amazon learns and improves. First the positives. The technology is nice and easy to use. I have gone 3 times and not had any issues with any errors. The store is clean and very nice. The employees friendly and helpful. The rotisserie chicken is a winner in terms of quality but they are tiny I guess to compensate for the low price. But I seriously never seen smaller chicken. Every-time i have been i find sections completely out of stock. I'm surprised this is something Amazon hasn't been able to fix yet considering all their computing power. Low stock level makes the store appear depressing. Prices are not good without the coupons. Very surprised about that. I expected them to come in and undercut everyone else. Ultimately the biggest issue with this store is selection. It is so boring, there is nothing in there you can't find anywhere else. I think target has better variety of interesting things to buy and try. Aldi down the street is a much smaller store but have a much better mix of items. This just Looks like they took the largest National brands with their most ordinary items and put them on the shelves. Even the produce section has very limited selection. I came here cuz I happened to be in the Plaza i wanted to check it out and I had the $10 off $20 or $20 off $50 coupon...so why not...there was a short line to go in ... but I guess that was to inform you of the check out options and make sure you have the app...etc...etc...I had to login cuz I barely shop on Amazon to start with...but I wanted to test out the first store in CA to have Self Walkout as your Checkout option where you don't have to scan the items....I did notice prices were higher than a regular market on most items...so if you want to pay for convenience yes you can do that....I didn't buy that much...and if you see the pics I posted there are multiple cameras facing each sectioned area of the store...so it recognizes when you take something and when you put it back on the shelf....overall there were no mistakes on mine...it wasn't that hard to figure out...but I think I'd rather go elsewhere for a slightly lower price than come here...the aisles are small as well and not easy to navigate.... read more

This is for the store on Spring Street. Have been going here almost since it opened. I go for the Salad bar and the fried chicken. A couple of days ago I went for my usual salad and chicken wing. The salad bar had about three cups of brown wilted lettuce leaves and some brown spotted cauliflower. I went to the counter where the rotisserie chicken is cooked. I asked a man for help with the salad bar. He came and looked and then lifted the tray of lettuce and saw a sticker with the date on it. He replied it was from "yesterday". I then went to customer service and asked for a Manager. Shortly a woman came to me and I explained the problem. She called a young man and told him something. She told me he would "Take care of it." The young man went through a door and after waiting 15 min. I left the store. Customer service, I don`t think so. Good salad bar? Needs some attention before someone gets sick. read more

I picked up $20 of items to use my coupon. Items are too expensive. I did not use the new high tech way of shopping, you can do traditional shipping or shop and go. When I checked out the guy did not apply my coupon and I was told to come back after 2 hours to get my refund. No thanks. The only good thing about the store is you can do Amazon returns and pick up there. I would not use this as my regular store for groceries. Needless to say, I was really disappointed upon finding a pair of worms making themselves at home in the cod I purchased. I understand worms are not uncommon when dealing with uncooked fish, but the sight unfortunately was enough to rob me of my appetite. Not sure I'd purchase non-CPG items there again. read more

None of the coupons work with EBT. People with low income can't even get the 10% off that's advertised in their weekly ads.

They were out of stock on so many items. Prices were higher than your average grocery store

Better customer service. Do away with the misleading coupons. Stop overcharging people and hiding it by not providing receipts until 30 minutes after the customer has left the store. read more

It was my first visit. Very nice store with nice selection of grocery items. It was neat, clean, and orderly. I highly recommend.

I went to this store three times so far and on two occasions I was charged for the wrong item or for an item that I had picked up to look at and put back on the shelf. The system is quite error prone and the fact that you can't see your receipt in real time is a major flaw. Furthermore, due to the cashier-less system, produce is sold per unit instead of weight. For a store that calls itself "fresh", the fresh items are overly expensive compared to other grocery stores. read more

We went prior to Thanksgiving using the coupon for $10 off $20 purchase. Majority of the shelves were empty and many of the staff were just standing at the entrance. When it was time to check out we were told it would take 5 mins to get our receipt through just walk out but the receipt came 6 hours later and it was accurate. Making is give 2 stars because that was cool that the food in our cart was captured accurately. So, we thought the empty shelves were due to the holiday so we went in the second week of December to give it a try again. The produce was not fresh browning of cilantro and lettuce. The meat selection was limited and did not look so good. We ended up walking out because we couldn't find what we needed. read more

This just opened up in my city. Thought I'd check it out last week. I really wanted corn bread and chili. Options are still a bit limited in the deli. No corn bread. No made chili. Don't know if it's just something they don't do. I came again today and they allowed a lady to walk around the whole time without a mask. Mind you...there were not a lot of customers and you can't miss her as she talks loudly in her phone. Omicron is spreading like a wild fire and I think it's tome doe the workers to at least ask the customers to put their mask on. Besides that. The cashiers don't know how to bag!! Who puts a hot chicken under vegetables!? The heck!? I don't work at a grocery store but I'm pretty sure you shouldn't do that. I'm not really impressed by this store. So I really want to like thrn because the soup selection in this store is good. Their crab bisque, lobster bisque, chicken tortilla and clam chowder are so good that I think it rivals some restaurant ones. But the meat department on the other hand is a freaking mess. Not only is the person working there always missing. But by the time he's back and you wait like 20 minutes because of it. You ask him to give you 5 slice of bacon and he will say they don't sell bacon by the slice but by the pounds.....OK wtf? So I said ok quarter pound then. So he takes a 5 slices and measure it which is close to a quarter pound, wraps it and gave it to me. So why couldn't he just weight 5 slices in the first place? Reading the many negative Yelp reviews made me apprehensive about shopping here, but a generous discount coupon provided sufficient motivation. My in-store visit actually discovered many favorables. The bright, clean, spacious store felt welcoming, with wide aisles for an unhurried shopping experience. With its Whole Foods pedigree, good quality of product and service was evident. Contrary to many review complaints about high pricing, I actually found items that were cheaper than competitors', especially those on sale. Erroneous automatic charges and absent receipt on hand for instant verification when using Amazon app was another frequent gripe I saw. On this first visit, I chose traditional cashier checkout as a transition step, and it went smoothly. Overall, it was a pleasant shopping experience checking out this new store. read more

As mentioned by previous reviews, the customer service is not that great at this Amazon Fresh. There are some workers that have zero patience and knowledge of how to treat customers. There was one particular female employee who was the cashier one day then worked at the Amazon returns another day. My first bad experience with this female worker was when she insisted to check underneath my stroller to ensure I was not hiding any merchandise (unbelievable!). NOTE TO EMPLOYEE: You must have no children because you have no empathy after I told you on previous visits that my children have special needs. Why would a frequent customer take anything from a store only to return the following day? As for my Amazon return experience, this female employee was there again with her usual attitude. She wanted to rush my return (even when no one else was behind me) and argued over the store coupon that would be received after my return. Never did I ask her about giving my store coupon, I just had a question which I thought she would be able to answer...my mistake! I do not care to know her name, but seeing her at the store gives me PTSD. The shopping experience is just OK. As I mentioned, the one female worker gives me seconds thoughts of going inside the store. If I see her at the register, I would probably leave in a heartbeat. The location is just convenient for me to take my little ones. HOW TO PAY AT AMAZON FRESH? You have the option to either go directly into the store without using your Amazon card. You pay your items at the register with any form of payment. EBT included. Second, scan your Amazon card and any items purchased will be reviewed by the cameras (above you) when you checkout with the scanned card used to check-in. The other option is to go on your Amazon app and click "In-Store Code" at the register to either pay with the card on file or other payment. WOULD I RECOMMEND AMAZON FRESH? Amazon Fresh has their daily deals, which is just OK. For example, the pizzas are bland and the entire top layer usually falls off. The price is cheap, but I rather save up my money and buy an entire pizza elsewhere. Some items are on sale, but I realized it's because some items are expired or near expiration. Instead of marking down prices, they should just place them at the clearance section or throw it out. Since it was not marked as expired, I realized my items were expired when I get back to the house. Not cool! The merchandise is nothing great. Expect overpriced items and minimal selection of store goods. I prefer a less stressful shopping experience, which Amazon Fresh is unable to provide customers. read more

Regarding the Customer Service Section in the back, honestly they are consistently fast and friendly when accepting returns. But yunno how it only takes one time to make a memorable impression.... Usually they will take my return item along with their reusable Amazon shipping plastic bag, that I received the item in. I'm the type of person who carefully opens those bags so that I can reuse them. So this last time, I had 2 returns, the gal scanned my items and then threw the perfectly reusable shipping bags away!! I was in shock and was internally SMDH, but didn't say anything, as i don't work there, but c'mon man!!! It's 2023- what happened to being environmentally friendly?!?! Recycle the damn bags!! I used to come here every couple weeks when I wanted to quickly shop using my in-store code. I loved scanning in, tossing things in my basket, and scan out, without having to deal with anyone. It was quick! 5-Stars! I just went in today and they changed this whole process. Now they have baskets that require you to scan every item before tossing it into your cart. The produce area you have to type in a code or type in the word celery and then choose from the 3 pictures of which item was chosen. I didn't care for this because now I would need to start bringing my glasses in order to type and look up stuff. The celery I picked up did not match any of the photos that I was to select, and overall it was super time consuming. No longer can you quickly get in and out of here. I was so disappointed and unfortunately will not be coming here for produce specifically. Definitely a 3-Star experience shopping here now. read more

But today we asked a simple question and the lady working the registers (at 8p on June 16th, had curly hair and glasses) was extremely rude after we had just asked a question.
