The workers are out of control. Had a bunch of products we that we were going to buy. My 2 daughters found the last 2 squishy ducks in the whole store that were kinda dirty (probably played with from all the kids who trash the place), that tossed behind all the clutter. At check out the worker told us only 1 duck per group.....what!!??? She also said if we come back in to buy the second one later she will know and tell us to leave. That is completely crazy. It's not like we are some flipper who wanted to clean out the store to resell. such a great store!! they have great halloween and christmas stuff!! everything is $5 so dont expect the stuff to hold up too well. they have a great dog/cat section. my cats are obsessed with their $5 cat scratcher. i usually buy 2 at a time. they have a terrific kids section as well as candy/snacks/drinks. check em outttt :) read more

Natalie the Mgr is always kind and helpful. Upon entering the store you are greeted with a "Welcome" from the cashier near the door. I asked Natalie there were anymore sizes for a Certain Design Tee Shirt. She happily said she's was going to the warehouse to check. She came back with a smile and the Tee-Shirt. A store with everything...well almost. It's like a Ross or a DD's with added extras, a Dollar store but bumped up a bit in merch/quality of merch if that makes any sense. Plus the outside seating is significant with a colorful mural, picnic tables and artificial grass. The staff is friendly and welcoming too! read more

C'mon! Perfect gifts for Christmas! This store is located at Lincoln and State College next to the Planet Fitness. Still empty because it's new and nobody knows the deals you can get here. So cool! What a fun store! My daughter heard about Five Below and told me that we'd need to check it out, so glad we did! The store is very inviting as soon as you walk in, it grabs your interest and you instantly know you'll be needing a shopping cart. We found all kinds of fun stuff, things that we didn't expect to see there. I thought it was going to be like a more expensive .99 cent store but it wasn't, it was better! We ended up buying games, electronic toys, room decorations, wrapping paper & gift bags plus fun gag gifts for a white elephant game. Everything was nicely organized, clean and the shelves were stocked. Employees were friendly and helpful. The store was a lot of fun to browse through and we've gone back several times. I was really surprised when I walked into this place because I was expecting a sub-par 99 cent store clone. But in fact, this place is super clean, has a lot to offer and has a wide variety of things. Alot of it is products geared toward women and kids. They have some decent board games you can pick up on the cheap. But here is what I love about this place, it is the perfect spot for stocking stuffers and party bags for birthday parties. You can get a lot of cool candies and little toys for kids that will help you host that next birthday party. I also want to mention that they have a lot of good little snack items and movie theater style candy that is cheaper than most places. If you live in the area it's definitely worth checking out just to see if they have anything you might need or don't need but want to buy. This place is great and also has great prices. Too much to look at so I'm pretty sure I lost out on great deals. The store was really clean too which was a plus. The staff was friendly and each person went out of their way while were shopping to see if we needed assistance. They have a huge selection of cool seasonal items along with candy galore section. They have pretty cool room decor that they sell at an affordable price which is great because some of those things can be well over $20...definitely not here. Five Below is one of my favorite stores to just stroll around in as being there makes you feel like a kid again! Also makes you feel well off too since you don't have to look at the price as everything is obviously $5 or less as the name of the store indicates. Everyone young and old seems to enjoy just strolling through the aisles and there are plenty of happy families here just enjoying the shopping atmosphere. It's practically a sure thing that you will find something you want and plenty of items here looks like they should be at least double what you are paying so you can't go wrong here. I find things that I find to be pretty near and even collectible. It's a great escape to just hang out here for a bit and take it all in. Lastly, the employees here seem to also be super chill and relaxed. The queue is organized and store is properly staffed and maintained. Everyone that comes in here seems to immediately be in a happy mood. I look forward to taking my son here when we gets older. Went inside for my first time here the other day. Setup was solid and well designed. Kinda theatrical pop art ish lol. Makes it feel a lil too girly for me but it's nicely put together. This would be considered a premium discount store in competition with places like Dollar Tree, 99cents Only Store, etc. Anything and everything for sale is within a $1-$5 range. All brand new stuff for all ages and genders. And their selections are fairly wide. read more

This store is just like Dollar Tree or 99 cent stores except they have stuff $5.00 and below. I think these guys are from Texas. They have an array of projects like clothes, electronics, toys, small appliances, gifts, etc. Don't expect quality though. Most of this stuff is made cheaply in Asia. They make their money based on your impulse purchases. How many times have you gone of one of these stores and walk out with over 10-20 items. It's cheap so you have to buy more, right? read more

This just isn't a discount store it's an upscale store. From the moment I walked in I started to fill my cart with everything and I mean everything I could think of, all for 5 dollars or less. I would compare this to a dollar tree or 99cent store just more upscale with nicer items. Definitely recommend this store to anyone on a budget or looking for fun spunky stuff.
