I visited TJ Maxx on May 28 around 4:20 PM while shopping for a suitcase. I found one that was noticeably damaged and asked if any discount was available, which I believe is a reasonable question when an item is already beaten up and not in new condition. Unfortunately, my experience with the cashier, Ava, was disappointing. Instead of handling my question professionally, she made a comment to a coworker right in front of me, saying, "Do you have wipes because this girl is asking for a discount." I found this remark rude, unprofessional, and unnecessary. As a customer, I should be able to ask about pricing or discounts on damaged merchandise without feeling mocked or embarrassed. I understand that employees may not have the authority to offer discounts, and I would have completely accepted a polite explanation. However, the way the situation was handled made me feel disrespected. Customer service should involve treating customers with courtesy, even when the answer is no. I hope management addresses this issue and reminds staff of the importance of professionalism and respectful communication. read more

I went to this store because it is located close to my workplace. First of all it is Christmas time so take this review with a grain of salt. There were broken items in the kitchen/hime goods section but there were also a ton of people in the store handling all of the wares so this is to be expected I would think. Nice selection and I did find everything I needed for my Brr basket! I got a cute bento lunch box and an adorable wooden crate that says Joy on it. The prices are very reasonable, as well. At first glance, not a huge or easily found section for petites, which would be nice. Parking was very easy and the checkout line moved quickly, with three cashiers working fast. read more

3.75 stars Just a normal TJ Maxx location that has a variety of things you may be looking for. Though they don't seem to have a huge variety, you might still be able to find something here. I do notice their items are a bit more pricey at this location, but I think it's also because it's in a large shopping center that also has other shopping places such as Target. Store is decently organized though, but as all TJ Maxx locations, it's a hit or miss. Parking is plenty here as it's again, inside a large shopping center. read more

Amazing!!! Gloria is such an honest person/employee. Today I had a birthday gift card in my back pocket. I tried to backtrack my steps from Nordstrom rack to Tj maxx because I had already asked at Tj maxx and made my purchase. I came back to the store and spoke to the jewelry counter who had helped me initially when I was in the store. She said yep ask at register one. She said yes we have it. This location WAS great in the past but needs a lot of work now. Start with your cashiers who don't know anything and have attitude when you ask them a simple question (Martha). It always seems to be the fitting room employees who are nice and helpful (that section knows what they are doing). Besides them everyone else is always talking and gossiping read more

I'm a senior woman and all women know that when the urge to use the restroom hits, it's urgent and unpredictable. Well, TJ Maxx in Anaheim Hills restrooms are so disgustingly dirty that I chose to chance an embarrassing incident than use their facilities! Poor reflection on the entire store. This isn't the place to shop if you want good customer service. Very rude employees! The young woman with shoulder length brunette hair at the register hates her job. I love this store!!! I truly think of it as one if the best stores in Anaheim Hills. They have a wonderful assortment of items to buy. They have name brands such as Coach, Born, Este Lauder, DNKY, Michael Kors and the list continues. They have purses, jewelry, perfume? Make up, clothes for the whole family, kitchen stuff, men's gifts, food, etc. A shopper never knows what they will find! It's very fun. I've been shopping at this store for many years and I've never been disappointed. I buy most of my gifts here! Today I spent 250.00 and in return I walked out with 4 bulging bags of stuff! I only went in for a tea pot, lol. I walked out with a dress, blankets, dog toys, phone accessories, gourmet coffee and more. Great prices and great products. I bought my husband a drone here last Xmas! The employees are always pleasant and check out is smooth. There is usually a line but it moves fairly quickly. They have many registers. I have been to other TJ Maxx stores and this store is exceptional. It's hard to believe it IS the same chain. This store is top notch. It's located in Festival Plaza. There is plenty of parking and many other stores to visit. It's s nice way to spend an afternoon! I'll always be back to this store ;) read more

My youngest brother wants a North Face jacket and it was very expensive on their website (north face website) , we went to TJ Maxx he found the jacket for 30$, he was very happy , their was a nice young lady who helped us find it i can't remember her name , but overall experience was great and great value for the price. read more

This location is pretty neat and organized. I was in the area and stopped in to check out some goodies for home. Customer service is great, they carry name brands such as Adidas, Michael Kors, Rachel Zoe and other brands. Aisles are organized from what I could see. read more

I shop here all the time but today was an amazing experience. Unfortunately, my clumsy self dropped my car keys and we were going crazy looking for them. If you're looking for "service with a smile" this place isn't it. I've been going to this TJ maxx for over 10 years now and within the last few months the customer service has completely gone downhill. I've had 3 separate employees be rude and dismissive towards me. Not a "hello how are you" or "thank you have a nice day". If I say thank you, I receive absolutely no eye contact in return and a painful "you're welcome" back, IF THAT. This must be such a depressing place to work because it's just full of the most miserable people. Other places are hiring if you hate your job that much! read more

One of the nicer locations! They usually have a great selection and the staff are friendly and helpful. One suggestion..don't make the poor cashier ask customers to open a credit card or make donations...aren't we done with that yet?? The poor cashier makes maybe $10/hour and a corporation makes them do a sales pitch for a credit card; it is demeaning for the cashier. read more

There are rare times that I desperately want something specific, and unfortunately this weekend was the time that I was desperate to find a wallet as I was tired of crinkled up bills. I figured it was time for a change so I went here. Luckily I found the wallet I wanted except the retail tag was there at $60.00 and no TJ Maxx price. I checked with one of the people who worked there and she quickly found a similar wallet to use as a tag price ($12.00) and gave me her name as reference to the cashier to scan. In and out of the store in 10 minutes and the cashier made me a ticket to use just in case I wanted to return it. yay on customer service and honestly, I've been here before, they have some pretty good steals =) read more

Another new TJ's I had to check out. Not a runway location, but easy to get to off the highway and with that worth checking out. Plenty of parking, not as full as other locations (and that on a weekend before christmas!) good service, huge selection, big home goods section in the back. Worth a look if I am in the area. read more

This location is awesome. So neat, so tidy, so clean. Very organized, and a better selection than some stores I've visited, although it's on the smaller side for a TJ's. My main reason for the review is that I LOVE the people who work here. Everyone I met and had an exchange with was friendly, helpful, and very genuine. So so hard to find happy employees in retail, but they seem to be a very happy bunch. I came by on a Monday evening around 6-7:30 pm, for reference. This TJ Maxx is on the so-so side, you kinda have to dig for the really good stuff, but the location probably has something to do with it. If you come across a high end designer item, you should probably buy it cause chances are it won't be there long. Customer service is kinda hit or miss, I haven't had a bad experience, but there are some people who probably should find work elsewhere. It's not the biggest TJ Maxx and the variety isn't exactly there, but it is good enough. read more

I'm surprised that NO ONE has yet to review about this TJ Maxx location. I come here to buy my dog's shampoo and clothes. They have a full aisle with so many selections compared to some of the other locations. As for their selection of shoes and clothing, they seem to carry better selection compared to the north OC locations. This is a better organized store with good customer service. This is one of the better TJ Maxx stores I've been to. It's clean and everything is perfectly laid out. On top of that, the service is great when you get to the registers. They're quick about opening more registers to alleviate long lines and the cashiers are all very friendly. I can usually find what I need here whether it's clothes, active wear, shoes, purses, or things for the house. I usually have to stop myself or else I'll come out with way too much. If I could, I'd go every 2 weeks but I'm trying to stick to one of those budget things that limit me from having my way. Budgets suck. read more

I know that Tj Maxx has their good and bad moments, but today, my visit was THE BEST EVER! I have been looking for a white ceramic Michael Kors watch, and the most recent one I saw was the bracelet kind, not the one that I had in mind, but was still surprised that they carried it. I originally came to buy tea light candles, and I thought that it wouldn't hurt to check the jewelry displays, and lo and behold, a white ceramic MIchael Kors watch! I practically rushed the salesman to show me it because I wasn't sure if it was the bracelet kind or the real thing, so when I touched it, I was in disbelief!! IT WAS THE REAL DEAL! I looked at the price, and it was only a $100 or so more from the bracelet, and was eager to buy it off the bat. This has to be my first impulse buy that was over $100 and I am so happy! Although it looked to be white faced, its actually pearl faced. It just depends on the lighting, but for a watch that was $495, and I got it for $215, I am one happy camper!!! read more

I really love TJ Maxx as a company and all the great stuff they have. The quality of stuff they have here are good. They carry a lot of higher end brands but no designer brands when it comes to purses or shoes. However, they always have a good selection of jeans ranging from Joes, Paige, JBrand etc. I love getting household items here because it's much cheaper than Target or Macys. I always find great stationary too! Overall, my feelings for TJ Maxx are that I'm very loyal. The 3 stars are for the experience I have had at this location. The store employees are not consistent in their customer service. Some are courteous and acknowledge you but then you get to the line and no matter how many people there are in line, there's no sense of urgency. I wish they would be mindful of the customer's perception and if they are standing at a register then they should assist customers or get off the register. Today for example: there were 3 registers that just concluded ringing people up and I was next in line with 2 people behind me. I stood there for a good 2-3 minutes staring at 2 registers doing nothing and finally called by the 3rd register that just helped a customer. They need to get better at that. I will come back nonetheless because I always love a good find or bargain! read more

I usually don't like to go to Tj Maxx or Ross or anything like that because of how messy they are. Like, just because the stuff is cheap[er] doesn't mean it needs to look like a sales rack at Forever 21 or Urban Outfitters. I want to be able to see the stuff in an organized manner - especially if I'm thinking of actually buying something. I don't want a shirt that's been on the dirty floor all day! Anyways, this Tj Maxx was very organized and clean. I wasn't all stressed out when I walked inside like I usually am. I went there to buy a couple gifts for some Christmas parties and I found what I needed fairly quickly. The bonus? CHEAP... in a good way. A martini set with a shaker and two martini glasses for $12 - usually $20? Alright. A cheesy picture with quotes about life for $16 - usually $34? Okay. Makes shopping for gifts - or yourself - easy, quick, and affordable. I'll go back. read more

I love their kitchen section! It isn't a Home Goods, but I always seem to leave with a little decoration or something similar. I've tried to go through the clothing racks, but I can't do it. I think they are organized as best as they can be, but I can't go through racks and racks of clothes like that. Definitely a better selection of items than other TJ Maxx's. read more
