This little store is located in the La Floresta shopping center in Brea. After dinner at Jimmy's Famous American Tavern, we leisurely stopped by here and found some cute clothing and accessories! Although there were some fun styles here, I was a bit surprised by the lack of selection. It would have been nice to see well-stock racks with a lot more apparel. I overheard other people comment on this exact same issue while we perused the clothing. This store has some cute and affordable items. I was eating at Urban Plates and my friend and I wanted to take a quick walk around the shops to let our food digest- we stumbled upon this cute boutique. Store is very big, but has limited options. Style is very boho and reminds me of Free People. Actually, I think I saw a couple of Free People items in there. A few downsides are they're pretty much out of smalls for almost every item, it's quite pricey, and no returns- store credit or exchange only. Jewelry is very pretty and dainty. It's also actually reasonably priced but unfortunately does not have many options either (I'm referring to ring sizes). I walked into the store for the first time with a friend after lunch and they he two female employees were too busy talking to each other to acknowledge our presence. Another customer walked in after us, she wasn't greeted either and walked out. We were in the store for 15 + minutes looking at the cute stuff. Those two never budged and never even looked in our direction. Even though there were things I would have purchased, I walked out. Never have I ever had such an experience. They have a large selection of boho, trendy, chic, relaxed, and casual clothing. Dresses, flowy tops, jeans, sweaters, lace bralettes, tanks, tees, hats- S&F has it all. I am glad to say I did not share the same poor experience as previous yelpers. I had a brief introduction to the city of Brea today and we so happened to stop by this cute little plaza. The storefront is very inviting and the merchandising did an excellent job and nudging me to walk in. In the first couple of minutes, I've already seen five things I want to try on. It was my first time at Stich and feather and I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were. The range I saw was between $20-$99 depending on the item. Dresses are $50 on average, jeans and shoes are on the higher end. I was greeted and helped by the store associate although I don't recall her checking up on me while I was in the change room. Out of the five things I tried on, I made one purchase. I was pleasantly surprised this place had a two-week return policy. I would definitely return! I'm from Chicago, but my husband is from Southern California. I came along with him last year to visit his family, and now whenever we come back, I HAVE to come to Stitch and Feather! I've been to this location and the one in Fullerton. I absolutely love the selection of clothing and accessories and they are reasonably priced. I see some comments mention a lack of customer service. Honestly, I've never personally experienced that. I used to work in retail (including Nordstrom) and I personally like a shopping experience free from employees checking on me every other minute. Let me start by saying Stitch and Feather is my favorite store. I'm a regular at the Fullerton and Seal Beach location. This locations customer service was a let down. I am very used to being greeted and getting assistance at Fullerton and Seal but I was never greeted or offered any assistance at Brea. Well they got a us a dressing room when I asked but that was the extent of any interaction. It's a shame because I think their location is the best with the most selection but the customer service is better at the other locations. read more

You do have to look a little and many times, I came in and didn't find something I really liked, but I was happy to go home with some cute and lightweight pieces today. While browsing I was able to spark a conversation with both Mariah and Marisa . The both were so sweet , friendly and authentic . This is one of my favorite boutiques. I love the casual, youthful style of their clothing and the overall vibe of the store is so bright, trendy, and fun! If I am ever in need of a casual going out outfit this is usually the first place I look. This location also has kitchen and office goods that make cute gifts. A few cons about this boutique: sizing is usually limited (small sizes run out fast, and your size may not be the same for everything). Pieces are usually in the $35-$50 range but not always made from the highest quality material. I think the biggest con would be their return policy- which only allows store credit, not cash refunds. I would definitely recommend checking this place out, just be sure to try on before you buy! read more
