I'm really disappointed with my experience at this WSS location. I came in with a pair of Adidas I bought just a few days earlier that had an obvious manufacturing defect the glue was visibly seeping into the suede and made the edges look wet. When I tried to exchange them, the general manager, Vanessa Escobar, refused to accept them and acted like the issue was my fault. These weren't worn-out shoes; they were barely a week old and clearly defective. Instead of helping, she was dismissive and made zero effort to offer a solution. Julio was amazing! My mom and I were looking for specific shoes that ended up being in the wrong spot, but Julio went above and beyond to help us. He checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing okay, and he was so friendly and helpful the entire time. He even went to the back to find the exact shoes we wanted. Thanks to Julio, we left super happy with the perfect shoes. Great customer service, he really made our shopping experience awesome! I received the worst customer service ever. I was planning on getting some shoes for my husband, but i had a really bad experience. I asked for help to one of the young guys; first, I felt as if I was bothering him with my questions, then I asked if he could reach a shoe for me because it was too high, and his face made me explode, I just told him I didn't like his attitude & I walked out of the store. He didn't even care. I definitely do not recommend this place if you are a person who likes to be treated with respect and kindness. I will never be back to this store. I went not to long ago with my fam to buy some shoes I don't recommend going here 2 guys and 1 woman they where very rude 1 guy came up to us every second and he even told us "do you need help " in a rude way and when we said no he said " I don't want you guys to make a mess" we were not making a mess this guys was rude and disrespectful. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. They have horrible customer service. I came in today around 12:30pm on June 28,2025 I was looking for some shoes for my daughter. I usually check myself first before asking for help. I couldn't find I was asking for a size to her size there was no others personel in the store. She was very rude I'm sure she doesn't like her job. She gets paid to help the customers and obviously just goes to work for check. I thought I wrote a review for this place before. So I definitely wasn't here for me because I would never in my life buy kicks for myself here. The level of shoes they have here is the bottom of the barrel. If you just want to grab some shoes for your kids, this is the place to be because obviously most kids don't know much about shoes as with most parents who are only thinking of the price when buying for kids. They are a very low budget shoe store. No high quality sneakers at all and they never get anything that is truly I must have. I think they may just get what's left or the low tier of the shoe level. In a rush for last minute Christmas gift on Christmas Eve!! Craziness in itself...I put some shoes on hold and I had the pleasure of running into Maria. I didn't ask for help she took the initiative to approach me, I was so frazzled and all over the place but she was kind and had patience with me which I appreciated, her demeanor actually put me at ease. I told her what I was looking for and she had no problem running to get what I needed. As I waited I observed her speaking to her team about their game plan so I'm guessing she a manager and I'm assuming their talking about closing time since it's Christmas Eve and anyway she apologized for making me wait which honestly was no wait at all but I appreciated her thoughtfulness. All in all a pleasant experience which left enough of an impression that it made me want to compliment her here on yelp. Wow you have to really tick me off to get a 1 star. Well this place did it. They have a policy of not accepting returns after 10 days. They will only exchange for store credit. It was less than 30 days. The shoes were given by my wife as a Christmas gift for me and never worn. The original tags were uncut and still on the shoes. We had the original receipt, so what's the problem? Well sir, our policy is that they have to be returned within 10 days or we are going to keep your money and you'll have to pick something else in our store. What if you don't have any winter boots in your store and I need winter boots? Well we are going to keep your money anyway and you will have to pick something you really don't need. And then spend more money on winter boots in some other store. WTF???? This isn't right. Look I get you have to close books on purchases at some point, but 10 days during holiday time? Huh? Things get purchased and are sitting under the tree way more than 10 days out. This is a slap in the face to your customer and says we don't give a damn about you, we just want your money. So congrats to you, WSS you are so greedy about not giving me my money back (I consider that you stole it actually) that you are willing to drive my business from your store forever. With the postal mail every now and then we get coupons to this place. Spend so much and get some money off!! Brought my daughter to look at Nikes which she likes for school. She found some super cute ones, which I totally wanted, and was sold. They carry different brands Vans, Converse, DCS, Nike, Skechers, etc. Prices seem average and with the coupon you save money. On the shelf they didn't have a half size that we wanted to try so I asked for help. The guy the at the register called someone right over for me. The guy that helped said they didn't have more in the back and called the other WSS in Anaheim to see if they carry it for me. Both of them were very friendly and helpful. I'm on the hunt to look for shoes for my mom and not just talking about going to Payless, something with substance for my mom since she has nerve issues in her feet. We were greeted but weren't asked what we were looking for so we spent quite a few minutes wondering aimlessly for size 11's and realized it stopped at size 10 which was WHACK! -_- How does a shoe store stop at a size 11 for women?! Oooo, I have a lot of reviews to catch up on, so I am going to start with this one. 2 stars bc the clearance shoes can be pretty well priced if u hit them on a good day and their clothes are in fashion and the price is pretty good. PLEASE be aware they are NOT a discount shoe store by any means, in fact their shoes are about 5% or more higher then the Vans store or the Sketchers store! I was looking for a pair of all white tennis shoes for my daughter's comp. cheer and knew I would probably have to buy women's, no prob. I went straight to the clearance and found a pair of Nike's that were marked 59.00. I asked how much since they were in the clearance isle and was told that was the price. I give it 3 only because this gentleman was helping me. The manger or associate(MARCO) however was really rude to his employee. He did not want to leave the back or come out to help him. And when he did MARCO was in a bad mood. I think it's really rude on his part as an employee not wanting to help assist other associate when he was helping me. When I first got to the store I didn't know what to expect. My children love superheroes brand shoe, and when I got there I was thrilled by the amount of superhero brands that u can find there and not even that, the prices are affordable. $35 for 2. You can't beat that!!! I end up by buying 4 pairs and if u look carefully at the clearance rack you can end up by getting good quality shoes for less than $10 dollars. Couple that with a groupon and it really helps when you have to buy shoes for three growing kids that need a new pair every month. The staff are a bunch of kids so it's kinda hit and miss if you need help. But overall a great place. read more

Went here for an Angels signing. Angel's and the player were very polite and organized. The WSS mgr Alyssa? Treated the general public (those that didn't buy their shoes, for a "free event") like cattle. After the "VIP" went through we were herded thru barriers. DO NOT SHOP AT OR BUYS SHOES FROM WSS SHOES!! They had us wait three and half hours in the hot sun with no water for a Kole Calhoun signature and then he left. They had closed the line, gave us wrist bands and then we got nothing! Employees wearing WSS shirts were the ones telling us not to worry that everyone who had been waiting in line (for hours) with a wristband would get a signature. Then, they didn't even come out and communicate with us after Kole left, just left us standing out in the hot parking lot. It was cruel and dishonest. We were so disappointed. read more
