Fantastic customer service. They helps my order for me until I could arrive. I made it 3 min before closing and they made sure I got my sneakers I drove in the rain for over an hour to get. Customer service is brutal! I bought some sneakers that were too big. It was my first purchase from the website, so I used a promotional code. When I asked to exchange the sneakers for a smaller size (you can't process returns online; you have to email them. It took three days and a follow up for them to respond to my email), they said I couldn't return them. I emailed back, saying I didn't know they were on sale and, even if they were, I was asking to exchange them, which seems to be permitted by the website. I received a pretty rude response. But yes, turned out I did misunderstand their policy - it didn't occur to me that they would advertise a first-time purchase promo, and then punish the buyer who uses that promo by not even allowing exchanges. I do so much online shopping, and I don't know of any other policies that are this harsh. The bottom line is: what a bummer! I love sneakers and would be psyched to buy them from what I assume is a locally owned business. So many other online businesses have reasonable return policies; Private Sneakers could surely do the same. Life's too short to deal with so much rigamirole though; I'll just shop somewhere else. read more

Absolutely disappointed at the abysmal service i received for the Lost and Found release this past weekend. The release was FCFS but got VIP priority if you bought 3 jordan items at retail prior to release. I buy my items Thursday, I learn on release day however that one item was accidentally a Nike shirt, and therefore "not Jordan". Yes, partially my fault, but my understanding for priority access was this: a) the store was supposed to make sure the items qualified, b) qualifying items were supposed to be charged retail price, and c) non-qualifying items were supposed to be charged on a different receipt. I was never told my item didn't qualify, and it was charged at retail and put on the qualifying receipt. even asked the dude if my receipt and items were all i needed to qualify first priority on release day, and he confirmed so. Hell, i even tried to add a pair of Jordan socks to my order cause i genuinely needed white socks, but they apparently werent allowed to sell those socks because none of the other stores had access to them so it would be "unfair" lol. Come release day, after the line was thinned of all people without a receipt, they started giving tickets to people with 3 qualifying items. Sure enough the guy working the event kicks me to the back of the line because of the 1 Nike item even though I showed him that i was charged retail for all three items, and again, non-qualifying items shouldn't be on qualifying tickets anyways. To add insult to injury the line is only ever checked on once after, so i have no chance to make my case, and I know full well the worker didn't even believe in what he told me, because he was acting dumb when he saw me again and asked why i moved to the back of the line since i have a 3-item receipt. Conveniently this shop "ran out of tickets" as soon as they gave a ticket to the last 3 item person at 10am (personally think its kinda sus that the LB, Anaheim, and Fullerton location all happen to only have exactly enough shoes for the 3-item people in line, but that's another can of worms). So basically, I was never told my item didn't qualify, which I should have been, I was "accidentally" charged retail and had my item added to the qualifying ticket even though it should not have been. and not only did they not honor their mistake, which made me miss the drop. I also paid 10 bucks more for a shirt that wasn't supposed to be sold at retail. Shame on you Private Sneakers, the Fullerton location was my go to for picking up miscellaneous shoes and shoe products this year, but after this experience, i don't particularly have any trust in supporting this business anymore. read more
