My current goal is to collect all colors of Brooks and Sauchony shoes in every style and color. They are a great fit and especially important and comfortable as a stability shoe. They tend to be on the pricier end but at DSW you can collect rewards and there are even sales going on. As a caregiver, I am on my feet all day Every day and lately I've been getting really tired and my right foot aches constantly. I knew I needed better shoes, but I didn't realize that my shoe size is a full size bigger than what I've always assumed, and that my right foot is almost 1/2 size larger than my left foot!! No wonder it's been aching and swelling up. I thought shoes should be a little snug, so I've always bought them, apparently, too small. Argh The girls at the store were really nice and helpful. They helped me find a great fitting hiking shoe with amazing grip and a super comfortable all-day-wear shoe that I can even wear to the gym. I'm so amazed to find that I'm full of energy all day now, no tired legs or feet, but best of all, my right foot doesn't ache and the swelling on top of my foot has subsided. This was an Immediate change. I was afraid I needed to see a podiatrist, but now i realized that I have just been wearing the wrong kinds of *cheap* shoes and the wrong size on top of that.
