I spotted this store when wandering around Fashion Island one weekend and realized it was new. It's located near the toy store and the eyeglass/sunglass shop. The guys greeted me and left me to shop on my own, which was fine with me. One did compliment me on my Off-White hoodie I was wearing. In addition to sneakers, they sell some streetwear from brands like Off-White and Supreme, as well as some rare items from Louis Vuitton. I saw some of the holograph items and a blue pouch from Virgil's designs. Pricing is on the high side but I sense it partly has to do with the convenience of getting an item in hand the same day without having to wait. (Also they are in an upscale mall in a beach town, which probably means high rent.) Condition of the bags they had seemed very good - the blue pouch had the original tag with it and it appeared to have been used with care. (Only missing the dustbag and care booklet.) There's plenty of options for parking for Fashion Island - either you can park in a surface lot or one of the structures. read more

Staff were nice and ready to help but the prices are too high; I'm assuming it's because of the rent that they have to pay for this location in a fancy mall. Jordan Lost and Founds size 12 were at at 780, you can get those at most other local shops (not online, eg Samples in OC or Coolkicks in LA) for 500. I will say they've got a great collection, so if you're a sneaker head and don't mind paying a fair bit more over market compared to other local shops it might be worth it. read more

Marcus, the cat who helped was cool, fitted, and didn't bother me as I perused around the store. He was wearing a mask but didn't sweat me for not wearing one. Little did he know, I was about to plop almost a rack on a few pairs. I snagged some dunks and Jordan 1 lows for myself in a rare Mens size 11. We went to Newport this weekend (haven't been to Fashion Island in sometime now, we're from Temecula) We had dinner reservations later that day, but wanted to do some shopping before hand...so we had the entire family with us. I've been looking for dunks for a while now, not that I couldn't find them, just not ones I loved or that had my size a available. We came across Paired Up. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and acknowledged by a gentlemen, the store was very clean and looked absolutely perfect. I immediately found a few dunks I loved....I was hesitant to ask if they had my size available as I've had terrible luck online and at different retail stores finding my size. I asked for two different shoes in my size and one for my son and they had our sizes available which was AMAZING! Tried them on and decided to take them all. Great store. Nice and clean and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful with the shoes. I get confused trying to find rare sneakers online. I don't always know which ones to buy so having the ability to go in store and ask questions is so valuable for me. These guys know sneakers and I love visiting this place vs using sites like stockx where I don't always know who I'm buying from. I have friends who had bad experiences buying sneakers like these online so I always recommend paired up to them if they are in the area. A friend and I visited this store and I decided to get a pair of dunks. I was in a rush to cash out because our Uber was arriving but while getting checked out I noticed the shoe that was on display was dirty in some places like a stain on the laces and some dirt/smudge marks on the shoe from guests picking it up and looking at it. The gentleman cashing me out noticed these marks too and I asked if I could potentially bring them back in another day for them to be cleaned when the other man standing by (Jason) said they weren't dirty and the marks were "from Nike". Just a lack of care and zero effort to ensure quality. Ultimately I cashed out as planned but I'm pretty dissatisfied with the lack of customer service.
