Step aside Lulu, there's a new kid in town. Vuori is a athletic / loungewear clothing brand that has been on the rise. My brother bought me my first pair of joggers here and I was instantly obsessed with their buttery texture. When I found out they had retail stores nearby I knew I needed to visit. I recently stopped by their space in Fashion Island for a birthday treat. I ended up choosing the Sedona lounge set in Salt, which is a nice creamy white color. This store serves both men and women and has a pretty decent selection of all the items. Their clothing is definitely on the pricey side, but I assure you, it's well worth it. Vuori a total vibe. I literally could buy every single thing in that store, and live in it every day. Fabric is amazing. The pricing is good. Material & cuts are seamless. You can really build your wardrobe by shopping here consistently. The staff is great too! Super relaxed. They keep your profile in the system, so you don't need to worry about paper receipts. We were in the area and came upon this store. One of my sister's friends shopped here so we decided to check it out. Originally it was just for my brother in law that we were looking at, but since he was trying on things - we thought my significant other should try it on as well! Since we were already waiting, why not? After he tried it on, clothes were SUPER comfortable and soft. Plus they looked good on him and he felt good in it. The fabric feels super pleasing against the skin, and very much seemed similar to Lululemon's workout wear fabric. We ended up buying 2 shirts, and a polo shirt. When waiting in line, I noticed the polo shirt had a loose seam of thread coming out nearby the tag. So when it was our turn to pay, I asked if they had another shirt by chance. The store associate went and checked, and we got the polo shirt as a brand new shirt still packaged. Parking was kind of tricky when we were in the area but it was only a few minutes to find a spot. The store itself is open, so you can walk inside, but of course with a mask. At the time, they were doing a discount (might have been 15%?) if you signed up for email notifications. Don't really recall if the store associates were super friendly, but the process of trying on and then paying for, it didn't seem too far from what used to be shopping pre-COVID. We love Vuori clothes! My husband is obsessed with their shirts and shorts - particularly the strato tech shirts and ponto shorts. I love their performance joggers and anything in that amazing dreamknit fabric. Not only do I love their clothing, this store beats the Manhattan Beach location. This Vuori is located in Fashion Island, close to Nordstrom :) Everyone is so welcoming when you come in. I love their joggers/leggings! I do wish that their sports bras had a bit more support for ladies with a bigger cup size... But you can't have it all! Reason for my review is for the staff. I really wanted to purchase some clothes online, but was really confused over sizing. Came into the store to try on clothes and find out what size I really needed in their clothing. I'm usually an extra small or small, but depending on the brand and cut of clothing, I didn't want to pay out hundreds of dollars on this stuff without knowing my true sizes first. Walked up to the store front and looked inside. There were no other customers, and all you could see was a bunch of Vouri staff members staring at you as you walked in. It was really intimidating, as if you were on a car dealership lot. Entered the store and was instantly bombarded by a sales associate. I told the associate I was unsure of what size I needed in the leggings, joggers, etc. The sales associate showed me the different styles and then asked what size I was in Lululemon. I don't have any Lululemon leggings, so I don't know. I have tons of work out wear, but no Lululemon. When I said I don't own any lulus, so I'm not sure, the sales associate seemed shocked. I don't think all Vouri associates should assume that everyone has Lululemon. Obviously if I'm shopping in Vuori, I can afford Lulu. The Lulu look has become so standard in SoCal, I just never joined in on this trend. I tried on a variety of joggers, leggings, and tops. Found out what sizes I needed and ended up buying 2 outfits. The associates were very helpful with finding the perfect fit and when I left, there were more customers shopping in the store. I also found out about their wonderful return policy and will definitely be shopping here again and ordering online. The service was good, but seemed stand-offish at first. The customer service at this store is extremely poor. The past 4-5 visits, the sales associates never greeted us or asked us if we needed any help. It seems like the store was over staffed so it wasn't because they didn't have enough sales associates on the floor. Many of them would stand around talking with each other or engaged in long conversations with other customers. The line to the cashier was confusing due to the limited space. We were paying at the register, we had other customers walking close behind us and we had to constantly move around to make way. My husband and I will continue to be loyal customers to Vuori and shop online. We understand that this store is not a reflection of the company. The store manager should really consider giving customer service training to their staff. read more

A friend of mine bought me vuori joggers for my birthday and used her employee discount. I needed a smaller size so instead of bothering her I took them into the store and tried exchanging them, same pant, same color, just smaller size. I even had the packing receipt. I go to the store and explain everything and the employee said NO we can't do that. You will have the pay the difference. You have to return it and then you have to repurchase it at full price. 2 different transactions. I asked if he could apply her discount and he said NO she shouldn't be buying pants for you. I won't report her but I'm also not doing the exchange. I was so annoyed! Report her?!?!! For what? Buying me a birthday present? I was so embarrassed and upset about the threat. A couple of days later I was in Long Beach (PCH and 2nd) and stopped by that store explained the situation and the girls were shocked by what he did and said. I love this store and the clothes are great! People here are nice and they have sizes in the back if you can't find what you want on the floor. Here's my qualm. When you ask for a size that you don't see out, they will look in the back, but when will they come back? That's a question that has yet to be answered. They take forever to find a size!
