This store is poppin, there are plenty of workers helping out, and they have a greater selection than most Vans Shoe stores do in Northern California. While shopping on our way home from a vacation with all my buddies that turned into a rescue mission/quick family vacation these guys and gals were all helpful. In there normal questioning "are you vans family" we said yes and we started to tell them the nightmare of events that had happened in the last 72 hours, the manager asked if we could patiently wait for a second after we checked out and were walking out the door. The manager gave us a limited edition SIZE 66 shoe and said I hope that this is a turning point in your trip to be better. These guys are truly amazing down here. read more

I've never not been impressed with Vans! The service is great, and their shoes last forever. I love their new style of shoes with the foam comfort insole. I could buy 3 more pairs of these. They are pricey but I think they're totally worth it. The employees will take the time to get you the perfect size with a smile, and they always have great suggestions. This store has a wide selection of shoes and I like that if they don't have your size in the style they want, they'll bring you shoes that are in your size but in another style to try on. I'm glad Vans has been around for this long. These were always my favorite shoes in middle school! read more

My wife came in for some size 6 shoe laces and was sold 54 inch laces. That leaves about 14 inches each side to lace up. What are you suppose to do? Triple tie them? The manger Vikki was really nice and professional. I had an issue with my shoes and she was very kind and knowledgeable about the products and she was able to get me in the right shoes for my style. April was also really polite and helped me finish up my exchange at the counter. Both ladies went above and beyond to help solve my problem and I was really impressed with the Vans customer service and overall great attitude the employees have at this store. Visited on June 6 Came in during my lunch break to get the infamous black and white checkered slip on vans. Although the store was empty, the employees were so kind and made conversation with me while I was browsing! Johnny was super kind and informative with the shoe sizing and had nothing but smiles! Love vans.. Love the brand.. Hate this store! I get it, vans stores have "cool", "hip", "young" employees but can they at least be knowledgeable please! A simple refund was like pulling teeth! I was told I couldn't get my refund (only store credit) because the LA store I bought the shirts I was returning had a new register and she could not read the receipt?!?!?! So I decided to get store credit and then she went on about tax differences between the two counties and told me she couldn't figure out how much I should get!!! She made feel like I was in Canada!! The staff is fantastic. We've been in multiple times over the last few months for shoes, clothes and a skateboard, and have had a great experience each time. Over the weekend we purchased a skateboard. Kaden walked my daughter through the entire process and before we paid for it, he asked if she liked it. When she hesitated, he put the board in hold and suggested we look at another skate shop to see if she could find something she loved. We took his advice but ultimately ended up going back to Vans for the original board. He spent the next 30min putting it together and answering all our questions. 3.5 I'm knocking half a star off for the lack of variety for the women's shoes :( BUT... The customer service was definitely on point! Going to the Van's locations inside the mall has left me with such a bitter taste that I stay away and even was hesitant coming to this location but they have redeemed themselves! My mom has really been riding me to go get some shoes instead of wearing my fuzzy boots out (I guess I was embarrassing her LOL). Finally after one of her doctor's appointments we stopped by, I really hate the setup of their parking it SUCKS! People drive so fast and don't yield properly for pedestrians! Parking spaces are so far away from the store and I only saw 1 handicap space on the other side in front of Jamba Juice :( However, upon walking in a nice young guy greeted us (I am a big stickler of that since it does set the tone of your shopping experience). I specifically came in for the Hello Kitty edition of Vans but I guess I was too late and they no longer sell them anytime soon which was a let down since I've waited so long and really wanted those :( Lucky for me certain shoes were on sale and I snagged a blue & pink pair for $29.99, the young guy was quite helpful and was able to multi-task other customers in the store trying shoes on as well, he helped all of us and didn't have a chip on his shoulder unlike most Van employees inside the mall. I found my shoes within 30 minutes and I was on my way as a happy camper! I'd definitely come back here and give them my business as long as their customer service stays this good! ^_^ read more
