I was recommended B.Spoke after two terrible consultations at different national brands (won't be named, but you can take a guess). I was searching for a custom suit for my wedding, and was incredibly disappointed in my previous experiences at the national shops. ENTER B.SPOKE! My god, what an amazing experience! I worked with Dan at B.Spoke, and he was so great to work with. Their location has a great vibe to it, and everyone working there were great right from the start. Right off the bat, Dan offered me refreshments and made me a wonderful old fashioned while we looked through the fabric swatches. After consulting on the different fabric options, he helped me nail it down. We decided on the suit details together and he was extremely knowledgeable in his styling recommendations. Jump to pick up day: I went to pick up my suit and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the suit. But not only that, B.Spoke added some very thoughtful details to the suit to commemorate my wedding day. Months ago we were driving home from Newport Coast and a billboard for b.spoke caught my attention. I reviewed it on Yelp along with other custom shops and kept it in the back of my mind. Karen Lederman of b.spoke got a rave review from a customer, which appealed to me. I determined to make an appointment with her come Christmas time for my husband's gift of a suit, shirt, belt, and shoes. Karen was wonderful and the shop is elegant and warm including tasty snack and drinks. Time was given for selection of fabrics, linings, buttons with Karen's guidance while respectfully listening to our preferences. We knew we were in good hands. The shop offered a discount on gift cards for the holidays which I took advantage of. Karen went above and beyond and had it beautifully wrapped for my husband. Measurements were taken and we patiently waited for the finished product -- custom takes time. Today we came for the fitting. Perfection! Nothing had to be done and we walked out with the suit, belt, and two shirts. The shoes are being ordered and we'll pick them up next week. We also picked up two beautiful ties to complete the look. I came to b.spoke based on a referral from a coworker and was skeptical as I'd never had a custom suit before. This time was for my wedding, though, and I needed to have a tux made. I made an appointment online, and Jasen reached out to me in advance to introduce himself. Jasen was extremely patient and took me through the entire process, which was immensely helpful for a guy who has no idea what he's doing in the suit department. Going through fabric books and picking styles was something I never thought I'd do, but it was super enjoyable, and Jasen made it a breeze. These guys have a beautiful facility--and an incredibly well-stocked bar--befitting of a true bespoke suit shop and they have a ton of casual options, shoes, and accessories to browse as well. When you're here, you get true concierge service that is becoming increasingly rare in any industry. When I finally put on the finished product, I was blown away. The tux is comfortable enough that I could go jogging in it, looks incredible, and truly felt like it was made for me. We had an important wedding coming up and my husband really wanted a special suit to wear, as he'd have the job of escorting the bride down the aisle. Found b spoke on Yelp and poured over the reviews. They were all so positive that we had to check them out. We called and made an appointment for the same day. With our 5-year-old in tow, we came in to pick out every aspect of my husband's custom suit, from the fabric outside & inside, to the buttons, to the monogram etc. You can even get a written saying if you like that can go under the collar. Did I mention they have a full bar, copious different drinks and tons of snacks? Our little guy was very excited about a mango Snapple and the last time we came in, discovered the peanut butter pretzels. Everyone was really nice to him and they even put on a kid's show on their television (Bluey) so he could sit and watch as we did my husband's fitting. The suit turned out AMAZING. It looked so good at the wedding. And my husband also bought a sports coat while we were there which included a pair of Paige jeans (tailored to his height) as part of a special they were running. This place is quite expensive, but you totally get what you pay for. If you're looking for men's clothing on a completely different level available anywhere, and a luxury experience where you are taken care of the whole way this is your place. We'll be back! read more
