I could see that the fabric weight and color on any of them were not the best choice at all. Who were they kidding? Because Judy has about 600-700 gowns available, both my daughter and I thought this shop would be a great baseline to compare with others,. We called and made an appt and arrived on the 21st. Apparently I got the month wrong because it was April 21st and I thought it was March 21st. NTL, Judy accommodated us later that day and my daughter was lucky enough to find the style she was looking for on the same day. Unlike the other samples in previous shops. the gown from Judy's shop was beautifully made and fit so well. The fabric weight and sheen were exactly what an experienced designer would want to show off their design. There was just no comparison to the others. Judy's service was excellent; She's very nice and an honest business woman with a lot of knowledge about this specialty. Let her help you with the process and be honest about where you are, what you know and don't know about shopping for gowns, what your expectations are as well as your budget so she can guide you with your specific needs. Her designer selections cover just about every style. And there is value to be found in a well made gown that is not overpriced. When you don't overpay, you do get more quality for your money and that is where the lesson of value is enhanced in luxury. Left all of us scrambling in the 11th hour to figure out what to do. Stay FAR away from 'The Black Tux' for your Tuxedo needs, trust me. $220 pissed away.

Located in downtown Santa Ana so there is street parking, but there is a small lot behind the building with only 5-6 spots.

The main reason we continue coming back to this store is because of Chris. He previously helped my husband and my dad with suits for our son's wedding, and ever since then we always look for him when we visit. My husband is 6'7", so finding the right sizes and fit can be difficult, but Chris is always incredibly helpful, creative, patient, and friendly. He truly provides outstanding customer service. During this visit, while I was walking around the store, I overheard two employees talking about Chris and saying he needed to stay at the register instead of helping customers on the floor. Honestly, that was disappointing to hear because Chris is the one employee who is approachable and genuinely engaged with customers. The rest of the staff often seem inexperienced, unwelcoming, or simply fail to acknowledge customers altogether. We also learned there have been some organizational changes requiring employees to remain behind the registers. With all due respect, employees like Chris should not be restricted from helping customers on the sales floor. He is the reason loyal customers like us continue returning to this location. Otherwise, we would honestly drive to the Inland Empire location just to work with Hamid again, whom we also miss at the Mission Viejo store. While we were checking out, two additional customers were standing there waiting for quite some time without assistance or even acknowledgment. One customer repeatedly asked for help just to complete payment. Honestly, I would have walked out. A simple greeting, acknowledgment, or smile goes a very long way, even during busy times. My feedback would be: * Allow strong customer service employees like Chris to continue helping regular customers on the floor. * Provide additional customer service training to employees. * Encourage staff to be more approachable, friendly, and attentive to customers. Most importantly, we will continue to give high praise to Chris. He represents what great customer service should look like, and quite frankly, some of the staff could learn from him. He would make an excellent manager.

There is a reason Mike gets 5 stars across the board. Like many others, I'd give him 10 stars if I could. Bought a Tux from him 4 years ago, having nearly choked at the cost of a weekend rental from the chains, suffice to say it was less $ than renting to buy outright. AND I got a tailored fit. I have had a dozen wears out of it now, and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. Don't waste your time browsing anywhere else, just go to Max I moved to Tennessee last year, but I will be back to buy a couple of new suits off Mike. He is THAT good.
