My recent experience at B.Spoke was nothing short of extraordinary. My wife and I worked closely with Jasen who started off the appointment educating us around fabrics, weaves, process, etc. and really took the time (nearly an hour) to inform us, while also learning about me, us and our tastes to really get a feel of who I was - something I've never experienced at other custom men's wear shops anywhere in the world. The store itself has plenty of beautiful suits and men's clothing providing a very manly and masculine backdrop. In short, the ambiance is pure testosterone and I love it. Blake will make you up a specialty cocktail before taking more measurements than you can count. This isn't as much an inconvenience as it is just a part of the process ensuring the best fitting suit you'll ever put on. The cocktail is fantastic and similar to an Old Fashioned but the exact recipe is a mystery to clients. You see, the owner Dave hired a mixologist to make b.spoke their very own signature cocktail. Trust me, it's fantastic. So good in fact, I wish I could just stop in for drinks... Back to the review: once done with measurements it's time to have some fun. Alyssa will then sit down with you and go through all the accoutrements. Like I said, this is the fun part. You get to pick out the type of fit, style, lapels, buttons, button threads, and lining. And the lining is the REALLY fun part. You get to do all this while sipping on their signature cocktail in a room that screams masculinity among the most gracious and well-mannered client-focused staff I've come in contact with. Dave has really built out a fantastic team over at b.spoke. It's really a unique, fun, and just plain wonderful experience that any -- and every -- red-blooded alpha male should experience. I personally have only been here on weekends, so the parking, and the shop on Saturday (by appointment) is quiet and empty. (edit: Last weekend was the first time I've seen Dan so busy!) By the way, have you met Dan? Yes, Dan is the man. I have not met the other gentlemen who run/own the shop, but if they are half as good as this man, then they are already ahead of the game. My friend introduced me and my other friends to this place, as we are in that point in our lives where people are getting married, and "dress to impress" is something we no longer take lightly. Now my friend has probably spent enough here to put Dan's Kids through medical school (just kidding) But I have picked up a few things from this spot. Custom fabrics, Italian Silk, intricate Designs, everything custom fitted and tailored to you. Now that doesn't come cheap, and you pay for fine quality and and overall great experience. These gentlemen go out of their way (even outside of the store) to make sure you get the look you desire. Customer service is key here, and Dan and B.Spoke have it in spades.
