This Saks is somewhat outdated with the current fashions and shoes. Every time I go looking for something most of the time I never come out with anything because they don't have anything I like. Today was one of those days when they did not have much of anything. The service is superb, however, some of the sales reps can be a bit pushy. Great prices when they do have a sale.

Bait and switch. I ordered a Saks Fifth Avenue Collection pair of classic black tuxedo trousers online, represented to be made of luxe wool in Italy. What they sent to me was a pair of trousers made in Bangladesh and made of polyester, viscose and spandex without a shred of wool. It took me three attempts via their customer service before I could get the trousers returned to them at their cost with a full refund of my purchase and the cost I paid to ship the bogus pants to me. Given their agreement to refund me in full, I give them two stars instead of one star.

Very BOUGIE Mall ..absolutely beautifully decorated..sales associates were everywhere ...ready to assist you...the parking was a BEAR...but once we were inside it was well worth it! Great experience...pricy but I always say ..."you get what you paid for"

Well customer service has gone down significantly here. How sad. I'm focusing this review on the 3rd floor evening dress department. You have to beg for someone to help you and then get poor quality. For example, when getting a dress altered that I just bought, Jessica had to call and clarify what was written on the alterations ticket. She rang in 2 separate amounts of $26 and $40. When I asked what the amounts were representing she stated I don't know, whatever the codes mean. I'm shocked she couldn't even ask someone. I don't know is not a good answer. So you are not sure what I'm being charged for or why there are 2 charges??? Then I come to pick up the dress (stated to be ready by noon today. I came at 1:00 and waited yet again for help. 30 minutes later someone went to get the dress and then came back stating it wasn't ready and wanted me to wait an additional 20-30 minutes. This department used to be stellar with exceptional service but now?? Disgusting.

I'm not one to write reviews very often unless my experience is exceptional or disastrous. I'm pleased to say this is an exceptional commendation! If anyone is in need of a truly special garment for a truly important occasion,they need not look any further than Sherene, the personal shopper and stylist at Saks Fifth Avenue in South Coast Plaza! Her understanding of fashion meeting functionality is unparalleled! She interviewed me before I arrived so that she could get a sense of dresses to present. We reviewed those as soon as I arrived, and then she took me out on the store floor where we added a few more dresses to those I would try on! She turned what was becoming a chore for me (having tried to work with two other stylists in competitive stores) into a wonderful and fun event. She has now helped me land 3 beautiful dresses for 3 different occasions including my "Mother of the Groom" dress. She has my highest order of recommendation, and I look forward to working with her over and over again in the future!

This was the incorrect color that I took to exchange!

Hello Yelpers! This place has great customer service. I came in to do a make up exchange (I was incorrectly color matched at the Beverly Hills location). I was greeted and helped out by Lyudmila. She was very patient and understanding of my issue with my foundation. She was kind enough to color match me and do the exchange. Also, Mr. Q was very helpful with guiding her with the return. Both very pleasant people :) Liz

This was my first time consigning with The RealReal, and it was extremely disappointing. Before my appointment, multiple associates asked the same questions, as if they weren't communicating. Bridget didn't even introduce herself in her text, and I had to ask her name. My appointment included three luxury bags, a watch, two clutches, eight sunglasses, and 18 pairs of shoes. I asked my fiancé to help transport the items, and we arrived about 15 minutes late due to an urgent matter. When I called, Rachel, the manager, said being under 20 minutes late was fine. I apologized, and she hung up while I was still speaking. I first met with Josh for the luxury bags, which went smoothly. I had spent hours cleaning and organizing everything: sunglasses and watch in baggies, clutches in dust bags, shoes in their original boxes with labels, authentication cards, and dust bags. Only one pair of Burberry sandals lacked its original box, which I disclosed. Rachel insisted on starting with the shoes even though smaller items were ready. My fiancé carried the 18 shoe boxes while I stayed near the counter. The area was chaotic, no one offered assistance or carts, and Rachel tossed my items into large bags with no protective measures, handling expensive luxury items carelessly. She miscounted the shoes and later the total items 3 times. Her attitude was dismissive, refusing to recount and blaming miscounts on the shoes "not being in original boxes," which was untrue. My fiancé left because he couldn't tolerate Rachel's attitude and I had to organize 18 boxes on the floor in severe back pain to verify everything, while Rachel played on her computer and did not help. I asked for another associate. Rachel directed me to Bridget, who rolled her eyes and gestured dismissively in front of another customer, as if my time didn't matter. When I addressed it, she became defensive and offered to help as if it were a favor. There was no apology given by any of them during the whole drop-of process for the miscounts and their rude behavior. I had been waiting since 4:05 PM for an accurate receipt and left around 6:00 PM in significant back pain, stressed and anxious from the poor customer service. This was a nightmare, and I will never return. I have friends who want to consign high-value items like Hermès Birkin and Kelly bags, luxury watches, designer clothing, and gold jewelry. I will definitely share my experience so they avoid this location and its unprofessional associates.

We understand that pricing mistakes can happen -- that wasn't the issue. What disappointed us was the attitude. Instead of explaining the situation kindly or apologizing for the confusion, the employee was dismissive and rude. Unfortunately, that interaction really affected our experience and made us reconsider returning. I hope management can address the customer service aspect, because the store carries great products and has a lot of potential.
