I visited this location while on vacation. I'm a longtime Lululemon customer and Pinnacle member . Most of my wardrobe is from this brand. This was the first time I have ever felt completely invisible in a store. There was no greeting when I walked in, just an obvious up-and-down glance from the employee at the door. I walked around for quite a while and no one asked if I needed help or checked in at all. I left feeling judged and looked down on, which was disappointing and honestly surprising for a brand I've supported for years. Customer loyalty aside, no one should be made to feel unwelcome based on appearance. I hope this location reflects on how guests are greeted and treated. read more

Shout out to Stevie! I came here on Black Friday around 8pm, and as you can imagine it was slightly hectic, although dying down since it was getting near to closing time. Stevie helped me look up something in their system (i was looking for a diff version of something i tried in the dressing room), and while she was checking the system, 3 other people came to the dressing room line, and i was astounded by her multi-tasking skills. Each time a new person came she asked their name & directed them to a room & came back to what we were doing, and then after she was done helping me, she went to write the 3 guests names on the doors (which was impressive, since i would have trouble remembering 3 new names, even without doing anything else at the same time!)-- Stevie was calm, cool, & collected the entire time, and all the deets i learned from her about the product line that i was interested in was super informative & helpful for my shopping journey!! What a horrible experience!! The staff in this place are a joke. They are a bunch of amateurs who lie about fake policies and are extremely difficult. I spend so much money on their overpriced merchandise and when I wanted to return an item, they were extremely difficult and refused to return or give a store credit. I will never ever buy anything from LuluLemon again, considering there are so many other companies out there who would go above and beyond to satisfy their customers!!! I am extremely disappointed with this store and the way those bunch of idiots are running the business. When I asked to speak to a manager, the girl on the cashier lied and went got another coworker pretending to be a manager, when when we found out about the lie and asked for the real manager, they went and got an assistant who claimed to be manager, but with more questioning, we came to found out that the manager was not even in the store. I enjoy coming to this lulu location! I feel it's a lot more organized compared to south coast plaza and the one in Huntington Beach is small so I prefer shopping here. Every time I come here I'm always greeted by someone and there always someone ready to help. I also always try in clothes here before I buy just because sizing can be off a lot and they are always really helpful in the fitting room as well! Some of my favorite items here that I constantly buy (like over 10 of the same item in diff colors/styles) are align pants, align shorts, scuba jackets, belt bags and define jackets! They have the cutest stuff and super comfortable so I keep coming back for more. Only 4 stars because sometimes they don't have the new stuff I see online but maybe it's with every store? read more

My husband, who is a coach at Uni High, ordered team sweats on Sept. 9th. Two months later, and now that the season is basically over, they still don't have 50% of their order that they paid in full 2 months ago. The communication has been horrible, if nonexistent by Lululemon. We have gone in in person multiple times with the order number and no one can tell us anything. Trying to contact them online is a joke. It's a merry-go-round of stupid questions that answer nothing. We like the products, but we will NEVER again order for the team because they have FAILED spectacularly. read more

I ordered a crossbody bag to be sent to my daughter in Washington. . The first time I ordered it was stuck" in Spokane for 5 days via Fed Ex economy that the company uses to send the precious products . Total mailed days was 14. I reordered the same bag and asked for quality shipping. I ordered it November 12. Today is December 5- and it is stuck in Spokane. I attempted to contact Fed Ex 25 times. I finally was able to speak to someone who told me to contact Lululemon. I did. I contacted them last month with the first failure. I was promised a gift certificate for the huge problem. it was never sent. I will never order on line ever again.. Lululemon needs to be responsible and use a reputable shipping company. read more

I went here to make an exchange of something I'd ordered online to a smaller size. They are in a temporary location which is small and crowded, not the employees fault so I smiled through the lengthy wait for a changing room no problem. When I asked the salesperson in there for assistance checking another item, she couldn't seem to understand my question, telling me she couldn't look up an item online(?). Okay, at least I'd found the right size of the item I came in to exchange, I'll just do that and order the other item online. Waited in another lengthy line for checkout, again not the employees fault. When I got to the front, the employee told me she couldn't exchange my item without the package it came in. The plastic shipping bag? Why would I have that, it's what the tag is for? Tags aren't good enough, apparently, she told me I needed the email notification for the delivery. I hated to go through my phone for that in a long line but gave it a shot. Couldn't easily find it. I asked if we couldn't check my credit card, (like a normal store?), she responded "I guess." Couldn't find it via credit card and then had zero suggestions, not a word. I looked at the line behind me and thought, I just can't hold these people up digging further for an email, so told the employee I didn't have time for a lengthy visit this weekend and would just do it online, thank you (with a smile.)! To which she made an annoyed retort and then gave me a catty "Have a nice day." Wow. Lululemon sells itself so I'm used to getting limited service at stores, but again, wow. I drove all the way here from Brea to have my leggings hemmed since they had the tailor in-store and even called ahead of time to ask how it works. I was told to just bring them in. I haven't worn these leggings in about a year because they are so long, and was in such a rush I didn't realize they had cat hair on them because my cats climb in and out of my drawers. We went through the whole pinning process with one of the associates, then when we got to the tailor he was looked at my leggings with visible disgust and said I needed to wash them and return back. While I totally understand the policy, I wish this was explained ahead of time because some people are really busy and have pets. I absolutely washed these since the last time I wore them, but I guess my cats got into the drawer I was storing them in. Please try to be more polite/understanding with guests if they bring in items that don't meet the tailoring standards! I was just a very busy working mom trying to fit another errand in. read more

Lululemon makes amazing athletic wear. I don't doubt their quality at all. I was initially wow'd with their choices, but I really felt like I wasn't supposed to be in this store. I came in looking for shorts to replace my old ones. The staff in athletic wear pretty much greeted and asked other potential customer but I guess avoided me even after I picked up some clothing from the rack? It's hard to get helped and the staff pick and choose WHO MIGHT buy based on appearance. The men's section wasn't busy so I'm not sure why I was being ignored. The best lululemon store ever! I've been to all the ones in the OC area but this has to be my favorite. The staff were all so nice and extremely helpful. I always felt like someone was available whether it was to check for stock in my size or helping me decide between lengths and colors. The workers were all super engaging. I didn't get their names but the staff member at the dressing room was AMAZING. She really helped me provide her honest opinions and weighed in on the size differences I was at struggling with as well as nailing down a color choice. The cashier who helped me was super great. She apologized for interrupting our transaction but within reason. She asked a customer to put their mask on and was very courteous about it. Much appreciated that they care about the safety of staff and employees. I love that the store upon entrance talks about their 0 tolerance policy. I feel safe in the store and overall, will make the drive further to go here from now on. I'd recommend this lulu store to anyone looking to shop for athletic/workout or even lounge wear. read more

Awful customer service for returns or help with information on that. I purchased a few dress shirts and pants, needed to return one for a different size, they were out of the size and mentioned I could order it online in store and have it sent to my house. I mentioned that I needed it for a wedding in a specific date one month out, they said not to worry that it'll be at my house in 1-2 weeks which worked at the time. Order was placed they did not refund me they put my return into a gift card which I thought was interesting and then purchased it again with the gift card, easy enough. 3 weeks pass by and the order isn't here, I check online and only the package label was made, NEVER SEND OR EVEN PICKED UP BY UPS, it's still out of state and nothing has changed in the last 3 week since I got the "label made" notification. I go in store to cancel since I'm not going to need it anymore since I won't get it in time and they give me the run around and hand me a number to call. The customer service number is a bit more helpful but since it was purchased on a gift card I can't get my actual money back. Lesson, don't let them put money on a gift card for returns. Overall awful service they just wanted me out of the store it seemed like. read more

I've heard a lot about Lululemon over the years, that their yoga pants are great and "make your butt look good", haha, and that they alter your yoga pants or tops for free. I decided to check it out and browsed the men's and women's selections. The salesperson helping me was pleasant, helpful and not pushy at all. Men's shirts caught my eye and they were on sale and had my husband's size. It was a forest green polo style shirt with smooth, stretchy fabric. The shirt looked very flattering on him and was a nice fit. Even though the fabric is stretchy, it doesn't look tight. I would be willing to purchase more clothing here, men's or women's, provided that it is on sale. read more

I have been a long time customer of Lululemon and have shopped at the Newport Beach location many times. However, I just experienced the most shockingly awful customer service at the store. I was gifted a pair of leggings, and the side seam unraveled after one wash. I brought in the leggings and gift receipt, as the item was purchased less than a month ago at that store. The salesperson agreed this was a quality issue that warranted an exchange. They did not carry the leggings in store, so she refunded the item onto a gift card and placed an order for me online for the same pair. However, the leggings were being sold for a higher price online than what was paid for them by my friend in the store. Rather than do an even exchange, per policy, I was required to pay an extra $31 for them to order the same pair for me! I asked to speak with a manager, and the manager told me she agreed with my frustration, as this was not fair, but there was nothing she could do to override the online price to place the order, even with a quality exchange. She suggested I go ahead and pay the extra money and take it up with Lululemon customer service. Seriously?! I very reluctantly paid the extra money and have since reached out to customer service and am awaiting a response, but this is such horrible and ridiculous customer service. How is it an even exchange to charge me extra just to order the same exact pair of leggings with a quality issue exchange??? I am done shopping at this store and if I am not refunded the money from corporate, I am done with the brand. I refuse to support such poor customer service. Oh - to add insult to injury, the salesperson entered my email address incorrectly when placing the new order, so I received no confirmation or receipt and will not receive tracking information. I had to ask customer service to look up the order for me by my address and phone number just to make sure it was placed and to get the order number! read more

Can we talk I walked into the store and my mouth hit the floor. This is the matage Mahal of all Lululemon stores. So let's talk about the layout first the big tall windows with sunlight beaming through made life so much easier for me when choosing colors for many dance teams that I'm a buyer for across the United States I'm extremely picky about color I could care less about the style as long as it's the color that's needed. Thank you for the concrete floors. It makes it easy for me to style groups together take pictures of them and send them to different choreographers. Thank you for the most badass staff I have ever worked with next to El Segundo and Torrance those are my favorite places to visit but this store is something different. Thank you for having a ivivva I style a lot of Minis and it makes it difficult to continue shipping back and forth from online platforms What a complete surprise at every turn there was a new surprise. Completely surprised by your embroidery Department I turned it on the corner and hit a ping pong table, made another turn and ran into a dog this was the neatest store I've ever been to. Your staff was so much fun they saw me with a stack of files with different clients my brain burning trying to match colors and exchange pieces and not go over a penny and they let me be. Meanwhile laughing WITH me LOVE YOU GUYS. Anyway I wanted your district and Regional managers to know . I'm probably the most difficult because I'm usually looking for something specific or a specific look that I need to fulfill . Absolutely poor customer service. Definitely the worst experience I've ever had at any Lululemon store. The only person who greeted me was the woman outside letting people in. I asked her for help and she said they were short staffed and that she'd call her colleague. Looks like she's the only one on the floor which is absolutely ridiculous. Even if you're the only one on the floor, you need to float around and greet and assist customers. She assisted two white people around me and for some reason, chose not to greet me and assist me. She literally just walked around not greeting most customers, well except for white ones it appeared. I used to work in retail, at a store far bigger and busier than Lululemon and I have been the only one on the floor and managed everything well. In spite of the business, I was able to promptly greet and assist customers. Even then, you should have another person to help support you. Talk about poor, poor customer service. Also, looks like there was no manager around that I could see to get help and escalate this. They really need to improve their customer service, efficiency, and business practices. You don't need 4 people at the register and then You have a mobile device. Catch up with modern technology and ring people up on your mobile. Nike and Apple do that. Why can't Lululemon catch up and do that? I literally came in for one thing and couldn't get help with that. Unbelievable. If I need anything, I would rather just . Poor, poor customer service and experience overall. Don't bother coming in. Better to just order online for what you need. read more

This is the absolute worst Lululemon. This store, and more specifically, the manager Alex, need to leave the retail business and customer service all together. We went in today after being informed that they had five shirts that matched pants that were purchased at South Coast Plaza. The "Educator" that helped us went to the back, came back and said we have none and "people come in here all the time and pick up stacks and just steal them." He proceeded to turn his back on us and walk away. We have never been treated so rudely by anyone ever. We left to retrieve the pants we had purchased and to cool down. We returned and asked for the manager. Alex came and we informed him of the situation. He refused to give us the "Educators" name and was just as unhelpful. Lululemon may think they have a strong hold on the athletic apparel businesses, but I can assure you they will be the next big retailer to fall. We tried to call over 15 stores to get help. Only two picked up and we were informed you can no longer order over the phone because of so much fraud. Really! You charge enough for your product to far outweigh the fraud, but if this is the kind of service you give in your stores and on the phone, it is only a matter of time before it catches up to you. As for the "Educator" that Alex refused to provide his name and Alex, it is also only a matter of time before your looking for a next job. Just make sure it is not in retail. Your approach to service wouldn't even be acceptable at McDonalds. read more

I recently purchased several Lululemon items while on vacation in Whistler. One of the shorts didn't fit correctly and today I went to my local Newport Beach store to return them. I was turned away even with my receipt and told they could return the item or exchange it. As a long term loyal customer this was very concerning and surprising. I realize different countries have separate currencies but this shouldn't be an issue for a public traded multinational company. A heads up from your stores when international customers buy items would have been nice. read more

Forever my favorite lululemon location. Huge selection and best sale rack items. Staff is always super helpful and wearing masks. Customers must wear masks as well. The last time I was in this location, I asked an employee to help me find the best jacket for workout out outside. She was not 100% sure and asked another employee for advice. They both helped me and found exactly what I wanted. When I checked out, I was actually able to choose which bag I wanted, which I never have been able to do! On my way out, the same woman who helped me said that even if I wear and sweat in the jacket and did not like it, I can come back and exchange it for something better. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this location, because it's probably one of the best ones in OC. Compared to the Irvine Spectrum and South Coast locations, this one is A LOT bigger and has wayyy more stock. For example, I've been wanting some of the lululemon align tanks, but everytime I go to the Spectrum location (which is the closest one to me), they barely have any colors, or sizes. This location has SOOO many of those tanks with so many color and size varieties - but this goes for their other products as well. Just so much more in the store. read more

This is the store that I frequent the most, and usually, we have a good experience, but this last visit was both good and bad. Let's start with the good part... GOOD - the store manager Eric is superb. Friendly, efficient, and compassionate. The guys who work in the men's section are also very attentive and friendly every time that I've visited. BAD - had a bad encounter with a female cashier named CESSA or TESSA. The girl was acting like she owned the place and when we asked to speak to her manager, she replied back with "well, they are just going to say the same thing as what I just said" UM NO - first of all, you're an employee. Secondly, the last time I checked - you weren't the store manager. We ended up asking other staff at the men's department because they're much more approachable, friendly, and helpful and we were able to get assisted by the awesome store manager who ended up fixing the issue at hand. Cashier employees are one of the most important employees a retail business can have because they leave a lasting impression on customers. While waiting in line to make a separate purchase, I see another girl just smacking on her gum for everyone to see - lacks professionalism to say the least. They have an awesome store manager so I hope he does more to provide the customer service training needed for specific employees. read more

Pricey athletic wear, but it is an investment. I've found that Lululemon sports bras outlast sports bras I've gotten elsewhere -- fabric, elasticity, and color. I also love their leggings that go under your heel. They are perfect for yoga in the winter! read more

I popped in this freshly remodeled Lululemon location in search of a new color of my favorite shorts, the 4in Surge Short. I ran into a handsome African American young man with tightly groomed beard by the name of Julius who was really helpful, courteous and even recommended and new short he thought I may enjoy in stock at another location. While I was there, I brought my favorite compression leggings the "tight stuff" for a quick repair and one of the girls in the back made the check in process easy and I'll return in 3 days to retrieve my repaired leggings. Highlights of this location include the custom designed table tennis court + kegerator for the extra happy Friday hours. Double standard in representation of this brand. Female models on site are mostly out of shape and disproportionate. The males are in shape and absolutely fit and proportionate. Being a fitness brand, models should appear healthier. It's hard to tell how clothes are going to fit on athletic in shape person based on looking at the clothes representation online. Brands are accommodating the unhealthy vs healthy in order for women not to feel shamed. It takes dedication and commitment to live healthy. Fit healthy models should not be pushed out to accommodate excess body fat. In store inventory not fully available especially in smaller sizes. This brand is letting down the original clientele which are athletes in order to sell more to oversized populations and lowering the standard. If this is how you represent then the male models should be overweight too. read more

I aspire to be the housewife Ali Wong describes in her last special where I can do nothing, walk around all day in my Lululemon pants, and get massages. Their leggings are so comfortable and durable, I rarely not wear something from Lulu on my body each day. I love nearly all of their items, I just really hate paying for them! Expensive work out/lounge gear, but well worth the money. This particular location has consistently had more sale items than the smaller location at South Coast Plaza with much better customer service. This location also has a kids side and a larger men's selection. Hint for the avid Lululemon shopper: Thursdays is when the "we made too much" portion of their website gets updated! My husband and I went to this location on Saturday. I was there to shop for my sisters birthday and he tagged along after I begged him to come to fashion island with me. I was looking for a gift for her and he was browsing the men's section when a nice employee came up and asked him if he was looking for anything specific but my husband declined as he was just tagging along. They ended up talking about some athletic looking slack pants on display, but my husband was wearing boots as it was raining and he was not feeling well, so he declined trying them on, and he made it very clear that he was not looking and he was there only because of me. Throughout their conversation a woman came up to him and asked, "why {he} was asking so many questions without any products in his hands."........ Wtfffff?!! Do you not like the way someone walks around your store? But if, in case, you're wondering if this was a funny joke, and he misinterpreted the crappy humor, when the woman walked away after interrogating him why he was there, what he did for work, and why there were no products in hand, the original (nice) employee had to actually apologize for her interruption and asked that if my husband came back, he promised it wouldn't be so awkward. My husband, so annoyed, found me in the store as I had found an awesome zip up hoodie for my sister and said he wanted to leave he was so uncomfortable. To make someone feel so crappy that they want to leave is incredible, to do so as a MANAGER!?? is unbelievable. Middle age, short, blonde lady (apparently named Jessica) just lost a sale and our patronage for life. I was practically a walking Lululemon advertisement as I was wearing my own Lulu windbreaker and sports bra, only to have this arrogant, incompetent lady have the audacity to interrupt my husband's day. We told this story over dinner with parents and 3 older sisters, and you've lost 5+ other customers for life. There are faaaar too many other athletic shops we can go to who know how to treat their customers properly, or at minimum not to treat them like complete garbage. read more

I am usually a woman of many words, but this particular visit is embedded and very unfortunate in my memory. I am 6 months pregnant and comfort is my priority since my belly is getting heavier and bigger. I asked a oriento younger female for a particular size and she said what we have is there.. I said ok thank you. As I turned and walked away she said people who actually work out wear those. I stopped in my tracks and walked away stunned by what she said as a female to a female- pregnant at that. It appalled me she felt the need to say that out loud and I immediately ran out the store. I should've spoken to her superior and called corporate but it was embarrassing. I will never return to this store and just go to Irvine Spectrum. My daughter and I spend too much money to be disrespected at this location. But that little girl who said something will learn one day because that attitude is not acceptable. read more
