I couldn't choose so I actually got both slim and classic fits for certain colors. For someone with more muscular thighs these pants are amazing. Same quality like Lulus, but 80% off is such a great value. It was perfect timing because my work pants have been wearing down after 5 years. The pants are great for literally any occasion. For around $21 a pair that can't be beat from what I know. Although I wanted to buy other clothes unfortunately what was shown is what they had in stock. This time, I came for a special "meet and greet" with inspirational ultra runner, Andy Glaze. The whole event was so well organized. There was plenty of seatings, water bottles available, and the event ran in a smooth, timely manner. Andrea did a fantastic job of organizing the event, and was so friendly to all the guests. She let us know there was 10% extra discount for shopping the same day. Although I did not buy anything this time, I really enjoyed being at Road Runners. Depending on when you stop in--how busy it is--that will determine how much help you receive if you need help. If you stop in on the weekend like I have sometimes--not much attention or you will have to wait and still they won't have a lot of time for you. It's kind of like the car dealer--weekends are crazy busy and they need to concentrate on customers who seem like they are going to buy. It's the bike sales and service that keeps the lights on--you understand that. If you stop in during the week like I did last week on a Thursday at 2 PM--I received a ton of attention and good advice on saddles. There were few customers in the store. While I did not end up purchasing a saddle that day, the information I received from the salesman that knew a lot about saddles was helpful in me finding a solution to my problem. I am very appreciative that he took the time to educate me on saddle technology and the differences in all the Specialized saddles and how to set them up. If you are shopping for a quality bicycle at any price level over $500--definitely put this store on your shopping list. But try to come Monday to Thursday to get the most attention.

It is generally clean, bright, and well organized, with plenty of sections to wander through and browse. That said, nothing here is really cheap. There are a lot of interesting and useful products, but the prices are high enough that I constantly find myself hunting for clearance items. It would be very easy to blow through a one thousand dollar gift card in a single visit. Thankfully, the local 20 percent off coupons help make purchases feel more reasonable. The staff appears to be made up mostly of high school and college age employees, and that shows in the customer service. It is not bad, just very young and a bit unpolished. Most employees seem concentrated in the shoe section or working the front registers, with limited presence elsewhere on the floor. The running shoe selection for adults is a definite plus, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, it is not a terrible experience, but it is not a great one either. I will continue to shop here because it is one of the few places that reliably carries sporting goods, but it is more of a necessity than a destination.
