So I explained to her that we really needed a specific polo for my husbands mom's funeral (we are matching her casket) . I told her we placed the order online at the citadel store but we were unsure we would get it on time. Oh my God. It's a long story and a crazy one.., anyway...lol. Rose went above and beyond!!! Other than THE NORTH FACE and UNDER ARMOUR brands being my Son's favorite clothing to wear, he also loves the LACOSTE brand. Those 3 Brands are the only ones my husband and son wears. Lacoste was founded in 1933. It's been a popular French clothing for many years now. You can recognize their products with a Crocodile logo. There are many stores in San Diego where you can purchase Lacoste, I believe here in San Diego we have 2 Outlets and 1 boutique in the mall at Fashion Valley. We used to go to Fashion Valley for my Son's Lacoste shopping, but now it's closed. My son and Husband will always go first to the Botique rather than the outlet because they said that they have more good staff at the Botique. Recently we drove to SOUTH COAST PLAZA because there's a LACOSTE botique there and they have new items, it's like a 1 to 2 hour drive away (depends on the traffic). But we dont mind driving that Far as long as we get good stuff. Lacoste has always good styles and good quality products . Upon arriving at LACOSTE SOUTH COAST PLAZA, we were greeted by a nice salesman named Jonathan. He was very Helpful and full of Patience, bringing a lot of different sizes and styles of clothing for my Son that he was looking for. At the end my Son got what he wanted, another Vest. After 2 days we drove again for my Son's clothes and this time he was looking for a Lacoste JACKET, we were helped again by Jonathan and again we got the Lacoste we wanted. Our shopping experience at this Lacoste was Smooth and enjoyable. The Place is very Clean and Bright, with lots of selections and a Nice customer service. read more

First time shopper. Asked the sales person if they offer new customer promotion in store or online since I was spending a lot. He said no. Left and wanted another piece from them so I went to order online and they do offer a first time customer promo. Came back to return since they won't honor online promo in store. When I came to return they asked for my ID. Not sure why since it's being returned to original form of payment. Sales person immediately started telling me it's on the receipt and asked me to read it. Not shopping at a Lacoste boutique again. Not sure why Lacoste competes with its online business. This is why physical stores are closing. Also, you shouldn't need an ID to return something to its original form of payment if it's to a credit card. I don't return often but when I have done returns I've never been asked for my ID. read more

Basic customer service no longer exist nowadays. When you ask an employee for help or if they can check stock, they would reply "no, we have what is out there.", "I don't know, I don't work in this department." Or the look of "don't bother me" Yesterday was my lucky day and I feel very blessed and grateful to come across Teesa! She is genuine and FABULOUS in what she does. I was desperately looking for a specific tennis shoes in size 8. It was out of stock online. I called her asking if the store had any in stock and there was none available BUT she went out of her way checking online and other stores. Teesa called me back within minutes as she promised! (I still can't believe it because I've heard that before, but no one has followed through.) Tessa gave me the good news that she found the size 8! I have been living in Orange County for my whole life and often visit SCP.The best service,punctual team and even cleanliness you can see only at Lacoste.I am deeply grateful to MARY. I literally created an account here just to leave a review about her.She has an incredible smile, sincere, responsive and very helpful. It took for me a whole hour to decide what color of their polos i need and Mary was really helpful. She walked back and forth to checkout their stock,the computer and she even checked to see if she can place an order for me. It was very important for me to find everything I needed that day because I was going to leave to Switzerland in 4 days to visit my parents and cousins. She was able to look just at the photo to find out the exact sizes which is unbelievable because it turned out that all the sizes were perfect! My family and I are very pleased with the gifts! I hope that Mary will work for this company for many more years and hopefully they will have more people like her because they really need such an employee. Husband stood 15 minutes in line to return a shirt (needed a bigger size but a sales rep they didn't carry the larger size, hence the return). Once he got his turn, the cashier asked him to fall in a second line, pretty much waited all over again. 30 minutes in line, total. Never experienced this until now!!! I went in the next day after buying a gift for my husband. he didn't like the style of the sweat outfit I bought him so I brought in the return and the sales associate "Tesse" said she couldn't accept the return. I asked why? I followed the return policy, and she responded "I can't accept it looking like this." Nobody, including several customers that were witnessing this understood what is wrong with the item because it was in the most perfect condition it could possibly be. Nothing was wrong with the item but she kept pointing to specks of dust!! I said I can't help this is from the air, all clothes can have microscopic dust specs that doesn't make any sense and she said I can't accept this. I didn't expect this to get even worse but it did. She had a loud rude tone and was humiliating me in front of other shoppers when I tried to ask for a customer service card thinking perhaps I could return through the mail and she said very loudly you need to leave the store. I had my husband go back in with the items 30 min later and the outfit was returned. I was so shocked I could not believe she was trying to intimidate me while there was nothing wrong and then accepted it from my husband. I have never experienced anything like this and would never expect such a betrayal and bullying from a Lacoste store that is located in one of the most reputable malls "South Coast Plaza". Lacoste South Coast - Items trying to be returned - Women's Clothing Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

After doing your shopping elsewhere around the South Coast Plaza, I feel that going here to buy something is a step down, as the store is smaller, the staff more juvenile and informal, and the colors too bright. As we all know, darker and traditional colors are a sign of class and actually something to strive for. I own a couple Lacoste polo t-shirts. Lacoste shirts are okay, so long as they are one of the primary colors that we learned in kindergarten. Anything that deviates from that is considered gaudy and I can't imagine myself wearing anything that loud. You know, back in the day when I was a small kid, I had so many Lacoste shirts, that I used them even when I went out to play and get dirty. Having grown up with that kind of designer label from a very young age makes me feel that the Lacoste name brand is for little children, though it may not be the case. Also, is it me, or does anyone else feel that this brand was at one point, very widely available and "popular" (as in, "for the masses")? The new direction of Lacoste is better for the brand and the people who spend tons of money on it and missed out on it when they were little children. I consider it a cheap brand personally, and liken it to Hollister...though the pricing tries to not lead you to think that way. This is one case where I'd advocate buying the designer brand clothing outside of the designer name's store. Partly because you want to dilute your shopping experience from being over-saturated with Lacoste diehards. I would much rather recommend that you buy it at a department store that offers similar pricing, but plays classical music in the background. At least you'll leave the store feeling classier and you'll be carrying a more respectable bag around the mall. You'll also have the convenience of not having to keep busting out your credit card to make a purchase in a department store. read more

The service here is/was very friendly in explaining their sizing (BTW a "5" is a Men's Medium and a "6" is a Men's Large), and accommodating trying to help you with not only the fit but finding your requested size in the inventory on the shelves or in the back stockroom. The Alligator shirts are classic, a bit expensive compared to other knit polo shirts some may say... but those are the complaints of functional fashion folks... the type who don't have much concern about aesthetics, quality and style. The shirts can range as low as $50 to as high as $100, depending if it's on sale or not It's a good casual sporty look for men and really sexy cool look for the right women who know how to rock that fashion. This is located in the South Coast Plaza shopping mall, so it's one of the few stores that are unique for carrying a decent selection of Men's Clothing that is always worth visiting. read more

I purchased four shirts at this store. Tried to return them on October 13, 2019 with tags and never been worn. I was told they wouldn't take them back since it's been a day over the 30 day mark. I will never purchase from this store again. They've lost my business for life. I will buy from their competitors who will gladly take back returns. I don't buy Lacoste for me. My hubby likes browsing here. We always seem to find something for him. Sales associates are friendly and helpful. When there isn't a massive sale going on, the store is always clean and organized. One thing to note, the store is somewhat narrow. This is only a problem when you want to grab and go and others hang around and socialize, or if there's a massive sale and rude people who don't speak English get in your way. Over the years, I accumulated a sizable collection of Lacoste casual wear. It's overpriced, but the simple versatile design and high quality keeps me coming back. After several years of patronage, I had my first quality issue recently. The collar of my overpriced v-neck came apart after a few washes. As per the instructions of a local retail store, I reached out to customer support. Customer support passed my issue along to a regional manager who contacted me about the issue. Lacoste requested pictures, as part of their investigation. Immediately upon receipt of the pictures, Lacoste plainly denied that there were quality issues stating that it was external factors causing the seems to come apart. I can assure you this garment was not ripped or snagged. T-shirts cost less than a dollar to make, and I willingly pay in excess of $50.00 at Lacoste. I think this situation was poorly handled. Wasting my time phoning, e-mailing, and taking pictures to satisfy the curiosity of Lacoste employees is not my idea of a good customer relations for a high potential customer. While I still have an overall good impression of the quality of the clothing, I do not feel Lacoste values its customers. I encourage you to think twice about your purchase from Lacoste. read more

I love Lacoste. I mean really love it. I have been loyal customer with them for years. But on saturday afternoon, May 21st, 2016 I experienced the worst customer services ever from them. The store didn't have any body and me and my husband was walking in to look for polo but we didn't receive any greetings because 2 man who working there are busy talking with each other about their personal life. We were there like 5 mins and annoyed of those kind of customer services and decided to walk out. Again no goodbye words because they are still in the middle of the conversation. I don't know how those people get pass the interview and able to work in lacoste.
