If you're looking for cute gifts for young kids from a local shop, look no further than Hide & Squeak Kids! Their selection of onesies is extensive and comes in several sizes and they have clothes for older toddlers/kids too! I saw up to size 5, but not sure if they have higher. They also have books and toys for babies and toddlers! The location is cute and everyone working is so kind and helpful. Hide & squeak kids is one of our faves! Tammy Jo the owner and Ariella and Lisa are extremely friendly, and they take the time to get to know you. Whenever I step in the store, I know they already have the cutest and most stylish baby and kids clothes and accessories. They also have a really big toy selection, including all the jelly cat plushes you could want. Luckily, my daughters ballet studio is in this plaza, so I am here quite a lot, I always make it a point to shop here before vacations, and the girls are always so helpful in pulling outfits for my kids! read more

This is a well-run children's boutique where I find quality, unique clothes and accessories on every visit. This store is Grandma Heaven! Our 6-year-old granddaughter opened her birthday gifts yesterday and announced that the purse (from Hide & Squeak) was the best purse she's ever had. Yes, I know she has limited experience with purses but still that's quite the compliment! I appreciate the quality of the merchandise, the nice layout of the store, the frequently rotating stock, and the pleasant reception we always get from the staff. read more

Alright, I have to give an honest update.. THANK GOD for all of the women who run this sweet little shop every day! My daughter has become great friends with the staff and she looks forward to visiting them. Lisa and Ariella educated me on the Bogg bag, made by a mom for moms, and it's the best purchase I've made! These incredible women really know how to foster community and make children feel special and welcome. My daughter looks forward to coming in every year for her birthday gift too! She has developed a special relationship with Lisa over the years and begs to go visit her often. It's so wonderful to know that my girl is known and loved by this sweet little shop. My son earned an excellent parent-teacher conference meeting today and he wanted those plastic poppers as a reward. That's all he wanted. After picking him up from kindergarten, we raced down to Hide and Squeak Kids. By the time we arrived, the store was closed for the day. My son was so upset and cried out. We went up to the store window and gently knocked on the glass to see if the owner would let us in after hours. The owner was SO kind and listened to us. Just discovered this hidden gem in the Woodbridge Village Center, located just opposite the Grocery Outlet. I was looking for a little gift to bring my almost 15 month old granddaughter when I visit her out of state in a few weeks, and this is just the place. I have shopped here a few times and while it is expensive, I recognized that the shop has unique items. But after tonight I will not be shopping there again. I was dining outside at Sessions deli next door to Hide and Squeak on Saturday evening 11/14, and at 7 pm I witnessed the sales clerk (?) working at the store physically push a two-year-old child out the door and shut the door behind him. No parent in sight. I got up from where I was sitting outside and took the child by the hand and knocked on the door of the store. When the clerk opened the door I asked "what are you doing? Where are the parents of this child?" she said...I don't know - he's been coming and going for some time. And I said - "well it's dark out and you can't just put him out the door like that and leave him...that's really messed up!" I can't remember what she said to that but she shut the door and locked it behind me. So I took the little guy by the hand and walked around the center looking for the parents. Luckily I found them a few minutes later. Yes...it begs the question...where were the parents? But this was a very young child...and this is a young childrens' clothing store. How could they? You don't take chances like that. I won't be shopping there again needless to say. read more

Let me just start off by saying "WOW". I drove from Fontana (about a 50 minute drive) in hoped to find some cute clothes for my little. The store is beautiful!!! Super chic, clean, organized, appealing to all! It made me wish I was a kid again shopping around with my mom, asking her if she can buy me this and that because I "NEED" it. Lol. I hate that I didn't grab the name of the kind woman who helped me. She was blonde and such a joy. Might have been the owner, i'm not sure. She even pulled out a new collection from a brand I love that I hadn't seen anyone wear yet. Of course I had to buy! She was so kind and lovely and I will be returning. My little is only 7 months but I can't wait to bring her here when she's older so we can shop together. 10/10 recommended this store. Support small businesses! Hide and Squeak Kids is an absolutely magical store! Their service reminds me of a luxury store yet in the most refreshing and bright environment. The store is appointed perfectly and offers a beautiful, range of selection - casual to occasional. I love the natural light and how my children are equally greeted. The small touches they offer for them too, like a drawing table and perfectly-size changing rooms, shows that they really thought about the experience. I was truly blown away by the store's service when covid hit: unable to shop, they assembled the most beautiful easter baskets for both my children, exactly at the price I needed and personally delivered to my doorstep without even leaving my home (and of course, perfectly wrapped in their happy, signature yellow). Their style range is sensational (from infant to tween) and price range is equally as compelling. I continue to reach out to the store whenever I need anything - gift or not. The H&S team quickly texts me in return with product shots and styling suggestions, to only then effortlessly set aside for my quick curbside pick up. Their styling and brands carried are spot on.
