This spot is located near the beach, making it the perfect place for a fun day out with your girls--hit the beach and then do some cute little crafts. I came here with my friends in May 2024 to get permanent bracelets, and it was such a fun experience. They offer a variety of styles and colors at reasonable prices. The permanent jewelry is plated in gold to help it last longer. I wear mine on the same wrist as my watch, and even though the charm gets caught on things, it still looks brand new--no scratches, rust, or damage. One thing to note is that the bracelet isn't welded but tightened with a plated wire. Overall, I'd recommend it for a cute and memorable outing!

First things first , this shop is located in Laguna Beach so it is mostly residential parking . That being said , it is important to come early so that you aren't struggling to find a spot on the weekend! The shop itself is so cutesy! There are so many options to make or buy jewelry. So you cans make a charm bracelet or necklace , or even a beaded one . The charm selection is insane! There are so many options . Which is what my best friend and I went for. We had a lovely time looking at the options and curating the best charm bracelets. After we made our selections we sat down as an employee explained to us how to properly clasp our charms to the chain. As for the price , it depends on the charms and chain you use. Mine was about 70 dollars , which to me was worth it. Everyone who worked there was so kind and helpful! We even got to meet the owner who was so sweet. My best friend and I had a lovely time at the bead shop and we will come back again!

The girl who checked me out Alicia was rude I came in with my friend she was like let's go to the bead shop real quickly since we had just got done hanging on the beach I had no idea I was supposed to get a paper and write down every single bead I grab and the prices of each bead, and the girl was clearly annoyed which made me feel like shit. I was like oh I'm sorry I didn't know and she was like yeah I didn't tell you like...... you could have told me when I walked in or once you saw me grab a couple different bead types. Unprofessional behavior I felt like I was being judged and I hate feeling like that I literally just wanted some beads to make a bracelet or necklace and I get that they were closing but that's no reason to get frustrated and make someone feel stupid I also work retail so I know how it is but I still am never rude to people that come in last minute I still gave them my money I should have just left the beads and let them deal with it :/ hoping for a different experience next time if the beads weren't so cute I would have just left

I came here on my birthday to treat myself and I had such a blast! I ended up making (with the help of the lovely and skilled staff) not only my own charm bracelet but also my own necklace! I had so much fun browsing all their different options of beads, wire, and materials... the ways you can be creative are endless! To top off my visit, I also met someone who was celebrating their birthday here and had the same idea- what are the odds! Highly recommend visiting this shop and treating yourself to something beautiful, you deserve! This is your sign!

These guys were awesome. I had broke two of my bracelets, that same day I walked in, and they were able to restring them right away, when other bead shops would take two weeks to fix them. Also while they were repairing them, they let me pick every bead I wanted from their string of beads. It meant a lot to me that they were so nice and accommodating. Now I'm pumped about my new one more then my old one. Thank you guys so much!

The shop is soo cute, with a crazy amount of beads!

The shop is so cute and the staff were amazing. My bf and I made each other bracelets and they had so many charms to choose from.

I've been to the Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach probably three or four times now between the…read moresummer and winter festivals and despite the crowds, the traffic, and the absurd lines... I keep going back! I usually attend with a close friend and while she's more of the purchaser, I tend to be a window shopper and craft admirer soaking it all in while seeing what surprises the booths contain. Though last monthI did pick up a few Christmas gifts for friends and family even though there wasn't much holiday specific merchandise. It felt great to support local artists and find some unique pieces. The winter festival decor is especially great with the cozy lights, festive touches, and plenty of spots that are great photo ops for both adults and families. The whole place is whimsical and creative and part of the fun is simply wandering without a plan and seeing what you find! Now for the realities: parking is insane, traffic can be really bad, and the lines for entry, food, and sometimes even the restrooms can really test your patience. The food lines in particular are ridiculous, so I usually eat before and/or plan dinner outside the festival (it's cheaper and less crazy). Pro tip: buy your ticket online and show it at the door. Do not wait in line to purchase tickets on site unless you enjoy unnecessary suffering!! All that said, the Sawdust Festival remains uniquely Laguna and there's always that sense of mystery about what you'll discover. Overall, four stars from me!

We went on December 21st, which was apparently the last day of the Sawdust Winter Fantasy event in…read moreLaguna Hills. This was our first, and possibly our last time that we will be attending one of these events. The parking situation was insane. We sat in bad traffic (caused by the festival as well as the construction being done on the highway) heading to Lot 16, only to find out after 35 minutes of slowly creeping and lapping down the minimal amount of lanes of parking (along with many other drivers doing the same thing) that we should just turn around and head back to Irvine for their free temporary lot instead. So we sat in major traffic again now headed back to Irvine to hopefully catch a trolley from there. (There went about an hour of our lives wasted.) So we get back to that lot and wait another 20 minutes or so only to find out that the next trolley that pulled up leaking all kinds of stuff, and the driver telling everyone that the trolley is out of commission and that the group would have to wait for the next one. Oy! So at this point we would have called it quits and cancelled this option for the day, BUT we had already prepaid online for our tickets... So we decided to spring for an uber instead. We were originally FIRST in line, but because the trolley pulled up to the stop and just parked there (blocking) broken down, everyone turned and faced the other way and now we would have been the absolute LAST loading the next trolley. (There was a huge crowd by then.) Our uber experience was much more pleasant, but there we were once again sitting in heavier traffic heading back in the direction we were originally that morning. What a day... Long story short, we get in and there are just crowds EVERYWHERE. It was so tight at times trying to walk past the individual booths, and hearing people (including multiple vendors) just hacking and sneezing away WAS NOT helping. Our family had managed to remain healthy and disease free all Winter, and we were definitely not planning on getting the flu, COVID or whatever as this seemed like a true disease spreader event. The food and drinks area were much worse, and once we got our food we ended up squeezing ourselves into a little pocket of an area and stood to drink our drinks and eat our quick meals. After perusing the entire proximity and spending a little time chatting with a few of the vendors, we took a few photos by the central Christmas tree and a little scenery (trying my best not to get any crowds into our shots), and headed our way out to the trolley. As we passed the ticket booth, we asked a young gal which direction the trolleys would be picking up and she just rudely shrugged and said she didn't know. The afternoon and evening ended up being quite long because of all the parking hassles and crowds. I don't feel it was worth our time for that day.

Inside, the store had a bright, clean, and well-organized layout that made browsing through the aisles relaxing and inspiring. Some items had prices that were clearly marked and some didn't. It was hard finding a staff member to get items scanned so I had to put it in my shopping cart and get to the checkout line for a price check. I have been to other Hobby Lobby locations and it's quite large with lots of items to look at. I feel like all these stores are owned by a Christian family as I frequently hear Christian music as you walk around the store and it is quite peacful and relaxing even for non religious shoppers. Some of the standout items for sale included seasonal home décor whcih right now was clearance items from Valentines Day and new items for Easter holiday. There were also a large display of artificial floral arrangements, wall art, and a wide variety of craft supplies. I found a few paints supplies and scrapbooking materials for my niece to enjoy. The selection was impressive, and the quality of the products made it easy to find unique items for both home decorating and DIY projects. Overall, this Hobby Lobby location is a great place to shop if you have time to wander the entire store because you will leave with a cart full of creative supplies or stylish décor. Plenty of parking in the front and restrooms are nice and clean.

I was directed to the self-checkout area instead. While I was in the process of checking out and obviously struggling the employee at the front began making comments about my children. As a parent managing three young kids by herself, it is extremely difficult to complete a transaction at a self-checkout station while also ensuring my children are supervised appropriately. This is precisely why I requested assistance in the first place. I was disappointed not only by the lack of support, but also by the tone and comments made during our visit. Customer service should feel supportive and welcoming, especially for families. It was frustrating to see multiple employees present, yet none available to provide direct assistance when requested. I should not be expected to perform the duties of a cashier while an employee stands nearby making comments about my children instead of providing assistance. Unfortunately, due to this experience and the overall lack of professionalism, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the customer experience for others in the future.
