During Med school and undergrad this would be my "go to" to study, buy First Aid and other Books. Back in the day, i used to love buying CDs and once everything became online, the store visits became less frequent and things were simply shipped. Today I visited looking for a specific book, Medical Medium series and Melinda was kind enough to help me search for and locate my book. I found myself immersed in all the different genres, and accessories, toys , music and my gosh, there is something for everyone. I even loved the tarot section. Melinda was kind enough to hook me up with a new rewards card since mine was 20 years old and their system had changed. I ended up signing up for rewards, paid $39.99 for a year and received a lot of perks including a very cool tote bag. I scored one in my favorite color, and was even told during this time its double points for each purchase. Customer service was 10/10. The store itself organized, clean, and love the starbucks coffee shop inside where you can study and just chill out. Plenty of seating and tables. Thank you for making today's experience soo delightful. I was able to utilize gift cards that had been saved for over 20 years and put to good use today with ease. I want to give a shout out to the 4 staff members I interacted with on 4/2. They were on staff an hour before closing. Everyone was so nice! I didn't have any questions but 1 staff member approached me letting me know the book I was holding is the $5 cafe book which worked out perfectly because I also wanted a snack from the cafe. Another staff member just offered a recommendation for me off a table of books I was admiring, which was very thoughtful. The staff members at the cafe were also very friendly and conversational. I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't get anybody's names but I enjoyed my experience visiting that evening. I will most likely come back when I can make the drive down to Fashion Island.

So enjoyed seeing all her wonderful, creative, and detailed artworks. Enjoyed "hunting" for her whale of an elephant parade tribute, inspiring and beyond creative (it is in DP Harboe near whale watching tour office until near end of Nov 2021...hope the elephants make a triumphant return, both in wild with help of artists like Laura, and to Dana Point and points beyond for raising awareness and protecr ion funds.
