My wife got out of the car and was at the door inside that window. They wouldn't let her in without me, and I was still parking. I walked in 11 minutes after the start -- one minute past their cutoff. There were maybe four to six people in the room. I explained the family situation involving my son. I told them it was our anniversary. My wife was distraught, and I pleaded with them and tried to reason with them. They turned us away anyway. We weren't asking anyone to slow the class down or stay late -- we would have caught up on our own. My wife left humiliated on the day she had planned as a gift. I get it -- you have to run a business, and you have to start on time. But she was there inside the window you gave us and you wouldn't seat her. It came down to one minute and two people standing in front of you, and you chose the minute. The class started without us. So did the last impression I'll have of this place.

She explained the return policy. I went home happy. Today I went back to Michael's to return some of the unused material and got good value credited back to the CC. It was quick and easy. This place is the besssttttt!!! Alice (the owner) is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Her memory is incredible. The second time I came in, she remembered who I was and exactly what I purchased. She pointed out things she thought I would he interested in, and her recommendations were spot on. She also knows the names, qualities, and prices of every stone and every strand of beads. The prices are absolutely unbeatable. Sometimes I get better prices here than at wholesale outlets or online auctions, and the quality of merchandise is better. I live in LA, close to the jewelry district, but I still make it a point to come to this store twice a month to restock on supplies for my jewelry business. Completely worth the drive. The only downside is they don't have a ton of findings, but they do have the basics. Still giving 5 stars because they more than make up for the lack of findings in the amazing quantity and quality of the stones. read more

I preface this with I have children, and never, would I allow my children to behave as wildly as I witnessed the other night. The adults became confrontational with Robert after he politely asked to reduce some of commotion. One woman was putting her hand in his face and calling him names, then walked off and came back with other people accusing them of being racists (which they are the furthest from!) The police had to be called in and even arrested one of the women. I honestly, felt horrible for Robert and Samantha having to navigate such bizarre behavior from grown adults, and though I didn't stick around to see what else was going to happen, I hope to heaven that everyone is safe and things are settled.
